Chapter 3 Meeting Chiron
Erin POV
It all seemed like a blur. One second there was the normal rush and commotion of lunch then in an instant everyone was quiet.
"Ok why is every-" Erin started as she turned around, away from the Apollo Table. There was Rorik with a green dragon over his head with everyone staring at him. And the best part was, she thought, that he didn't even know. He was just standing there with that confused look of his. He was kinda cute.
"Di immortales ! Why am I even thinking this ?" Erin silently cursed to herself. There were more important things to do right now than think about boys.
"Rorik" she said softly, " You've been claimed"
"Come on, you need to talk to Chiron"
" Chiron ? Who's Chiron ?" Rorik asked
"Chiron is the activities director and he's been in charge ever since Mr.D was allowed back up to Olympus"
As they walked up to the Big House Alejandro ran up behind them. Full of energy as usual.
"Rorik that was awesome !" He exclaimed "I mean what god is a dragon !? Aw man a trident got nuthin on a dragon!"
By then the trio had reached the big house where Chiron was sitting on the
porch listening to what some would call music and others would call torture.
"Alejandro calm down it"s nothing, I am probably just the kid of some minor god"
"Ah, Erin, I see you've brought Rorik" Chiron started
"Yes, Chiron we have ... disturbing news"
"After thousands of years i'm not sure anything could surprise me"
"Chiron, Rorik was claimed during lunch" she said
"That hardly seems out of the ordinary ,Erin"
"Wait there's more, a dragon appeared above his head, there are no greek, roman, or even Egyptian gods that are represented by dragons. Major or minor gods"
"I stand corrected, I am surprised " Chiron said while scratching his chin, "Hmm, although I don't believe this is a dangerous event, I do believe it is one worth looking into"
"Uh Chiron ?" Alejandro asked " can we go back to lunch ? We didn't have long to eat before Rorik got claimed"
"Oh certainly, in fact Alejandro you never really needed to come "
"Now you tell me, I could have been eating this whole time !" Alejandro exclaimed in slightly disappointed tone.
"Hey you followed us " Rorik said
"Come on lets go finish lunch, I'm starving" Erin said hungrily
"Yes and ,Erin, help Rorik get settled in. That aside, you should all just go along with your regular schedules until I figure out who Rorik's godly parent is "As they walked down from the big house Alejandro ran off to go finished lunch and Rorik ran after him.
"They're gonna get along just fine" Erin thought to herself . And she also hopped that she would also get along with Rorik.
Rorik POV
While he and Alejandro were running to lunch he started to think about the monumentally great things that had happened to him I the past few days. Two weeks ago he was hiding in the forests of New York hoping a monster or the military wouldn't find him. Now he was safe, he was healed, he had already made a friend in Alejandro. And then there was Erin. He wasn't sure what it was, maybe how she risked her life to save his, or something else. But he had enjoyed the times she visited him in the medical tent. Just when he was with her his mood improved. There was something special about the daughter of Apollo. He didn't know what, but there was something.
Hey guys, I'm back. I'm sorry this one was short which is why updating twice this weekend. I said I would upload every weekend and I intend to stick to that plan. But I was editing chapter 2 and I was enjoying it and there were videos I still hadn't watched (yes , I edit while listening to Youtube) so yeah. U guys get 2 chapters this weekend. There's a 30% chance I'll upload again this weekend. This is because , probably like the rest of you guys who go to school in the US, I have this Monday off for Memorial Day. Also, I'm sorry if this chapter is formatted weird. It's a little strange in my documents manager so I'm sorry is the story is doubled spaced.
