HEY GUYS ! I'm back again. I know that this is going up on Monday but I was busy all weekend and I didn't feel like editing but I do now. So I got in bed, opened another tab to Sjin and Lewis and edited the rest of this chapter. I would love it if you guys suggested some minor character.s Enjoy guys. Rorik's POV

The sound of the starting horn blared through the forest signaling both teams to begin the game. Nick and Olivia charged down the center and left making sure to make as much noise as possible to draw red teams attention.

"Alright lets go" Erin said as she signaled her team to follow her. The five of them, Erin, Rorik, Teru, Eli and another Apollo kid with curly blond hair, cautiously moved along the right flank as quiet as possible. "So far so good", thought Rorik. They team had just about reached the river and they hadn't seen any red yet.

"Hold" said Teru while sticking his fist in the air,"two of 'em 4 O'clock

Erin gave the shoot command, "Teru, Will, take em' out". Teru and the kid with curly blond hair shot, hitting their targets in unison with the blunted arrows. You could hear the air being kicked out of the two red soldiers from where they were hiding.

"Move" Erin said and the group moved on. The rest of the hike went off without a hitch. After another 25 minutes of carefully moving into Red territory the group finally made it to Zeus's Fist with the flag sitting atop it.

"Come on, we better hurry. We're only gonna get one shot at this. Nick and Olivia are good but they can't keep the Ares cabin at bay forever" Eli said. You could just hear the battle raging on across the woods.

"She's right, we should hurry and grab this flag" Rorik agreed.

"No, this isn't right. There should be more guards. Antigone wouldn't be that stupid. She the daughter of Annabeth Chase, one of, if not the smartest Athenian children ever."

"As much as I would like to agree , Eli is right. The other cabins can't hold off the Ares cabin forever" Teru added.

"Fine, But we do it quickly and quietly" Erin , reluctantly agreed. The 5 of them moved swiftly into the clearing where Zeus's Fist was. Then all Hell broke lose. A dozen campers jumped up from the bushes that bordered the clearing and fired a volley of arrows at them. Rorik, Erin, Teru and that blond kid dove behind Zeus's fist for cover. Eli was struck by 3 arrows in the chest and fell to the ground with a gasp of air. Then 10 campers armed with swords and shields charged out of the forest toward the group. It was a full war zone from that point on. Rorik unsheathed his swords and began to defend Erin as she fired off arrows from the top of Zeus's Fist. Teru did the same for the blond kid.

"William!" Erin shouted

"Kind of busy right now" Said the blond kid who must have been William, notching 2 arrows at a time.

"I don't care ! you and Teru are going to get that flag and get out of here!" commanded Erin. By now Nick and Olivia had heard the fighting and had brought their teams over to help. It was chaos. The whole camp was fighting in one clearing.

"We'll cover you!" She shouted. Teru scramble up Zeus's Fist, grabbing the flag and turning to run with William firing arrows right behind him. That left Rorik to guard Erin from the camp. Out of nowhere Rorik felt a sharp pain in his right side as someone swung a sword at him. Rorik turned to face the new enemy. As he turned, the attacker lunged at him again. Rorik jumped back and kicked the girl in the chest, stumbling her. He then slashed her ankle with his right sword causing her to clutch her ankle and slapping the girl on the side of her head with the flat of his left sword. Knocking her out cold. Immediately after, Rorik dispatched another boy by ducking under the swing and striking him in the back of the head with the but of his sword. Rorik side stepped and sliced the shin of another boy then butted his temple with hilt while of his sword.

"Rorik ! We gotta get out of here ! Teru and William might need help!" Erin shouted over the raging battle. With that they took off through the battle into the woods where there were only a few enemies. They came across Teru and William about 500ft into the woods away from the combat. The two were in a basin between two hills, surrounded by 6 campers. They were holding out on a rock outcropping in the middle of the basin. They were firing off arrows as fast as they could but their quivers were running out dry and the red soldiers just kept dodging their arrows.

" Well, you were right " Rorik said quietly. Erin had pulled him down into a bush so they wouldn't be seen.

"Come on we can take two of them out by surprise and then it will be a 4 on 4 fight."

"Right. On the count of three ?" Rorik asked.

"Yeah. Get to a position where you can take one of 'em out" She said. Rorik moved up onto the tops of one of the hills that form the basin and quietly poised himself above one of the campers. Erin signaled with her fingers, one... two... THREE. He jumped down off of the out cropping and loaded right behind the camper. Rorik jumped and cut a soldier in the side and kneed him in the temple as he cringed. Erin jumped down as well and kicked a soldier chest, knocking the wind out of him resulting in he falling to the ground holding his stomach. Two of the remaining opponents charged Rorik with swords raised. William fired a shot at one of the soldiers charging Rorik, hitting him in the small of the back. The second soldier was a massive Ares boy. He performed a massive overhead chop so Rorik crossed his swords like an X and caught the blade. But the Ares child was simply too strong and knocked Rorik to the ground. He tried scrambling away to reach his weapon but it was unnecessary. Erin, William and Teru all shot and hit the poor guy in the back of the helmet with their arrows in unison. He fell down with his eyes rolled back in his head.

"Thanks" Rorik said briefly, "Come one, we still have a flag to captu-". Another group of campers came over the crest of the hill.

"William , Teru , get going , we'll hold them off ! " Erin shouted as she and Rorik were plunged back into combat.

Teru POV

William grabbed the flag and they started sprinting off , leaving Rorik and Erin to cover their retreat. They rounded a corner and ares soldier charged out from behind a tree and swung at William. He had to protect the flag. Teru tackled the soldier, interrupting the blow that would have hit William. William kept running as Teru faced off against the ambusher. Teru tried his best to fight but his opponent got a hit in on his right arm , his sword arm. Now, since he couldn't fight back, the Ares kid just kicked him hard in the chest. Knocking the wind out of him. All he could do now was breath slowly and hope William made it across the river.

Rorik POV

Dodge, swing, block. Dodge, swing, block. That was all that racing through Rorik's head as he and Erin were locked in battle with the new squad of campers. The continuous action had his cut bleeding and he could feel the warm liquid on his side. He hoped William made it across soon. He and Erin couldn't hold out much longer. Horns blared in the distance.

"YES !" exclaimed Erin. Overjoyed, she jumped into Rorik and hugged him. And to her surprise, he hugged her back. When they finally separated they both began blushing heavily.

Rorik cleared his throat ,blushing as well, " um.. well, we should ,uh, go back to the our side"

Alejandro's POV

Alejandro had been waiting close to the river in a tree to act as a scout to warn the defense if anyone was coming. He began to smile as he saw William running through the forest with the flag over his head. That smile quickly faded as Alejandro realized he wasn't alone. About 3 kids had found William and were chasing after him.

"Sam!" Alejandro shouted, "The flag carrier has some unwanted company, light 'em up!" Sam heard him, and with a far more evil smile than Alejandro, cut the rope with his sword. This rope was the trigger for one off their arrow traps. Alejandro signaled William to get down. And not a moment too soon. Right as William got down three dozen arrows whizzed over his head, absolutely pummeling the campers following him. Triumphantly William strode across the River as the horn blew signaling that the game was had won.

Rorik's POV

10 minutes after the game

That was one of the most amazing nights of Rorik's life. When he and Erin got back to their side everyone was high-fiving and overall just happy. Alejandro was talking to Sam about how awesome the arrow trap was, William was making out with his girlfriend, even Eli who always seemed to be mad about something had a grin on her face. It was fantastic.
