Humor 13: It's not what you think

"I knew you weren't at the tavern!" Arthur suddenly shouted.

"What are you talking about? Of course I was!" Merlin exclaimed unconvincingly.

"Shut up idiot, I know an injured man when I see one. It's your back isn't it?"

Merlin gulped, the sting from the serket bite hurt terribly but there was no way he could tell Arthur that his sister was an evil witch consorting with her half-sister and planning Camelot's demise, now could he? Why does the prat chose now to be observant of all times?

"Gimme me a break Arthur, I'm not that old!" Merlin tried to joke it off. Arthur didn't bite. He stalked forward, his eyes trained on Merlin, his gaze was fierce; Merlin felt like a cornered prey. "Arthur...what are you doing?"

Arthur took step forward and Merlin to a step back. Another step forward and another step back.

"D-don't do this, prat!"

"Shut up!"

Merlin let out a rather embarrassingly girly scream and made a run for it. Arthur beat him to the door, so Merlin backpedaled and Arthur all but tackled him to the ground.

"Take. It. Off." Arthur grunted, struggling against a mess of flailing limbs that was Merlin. He reached for Merlin's shirt and managed to hike it up to his stomach when the door suddenly swung open. Arthur froze. Merlin stopped flailing.

"Arthur...pray tell me, what are you doing?" Uther Pendragon asked in a monotone voice. Arthur's eyes widened as he realized the position he and Merlin were in right now.

"F-father….it's not what you think!"

I almost used Guinevere, but Uther was like x100 funnier!
