Radio Fairy Chapter 8: The Dance pt2, a fairy tail fanfic

Very! Very! Very! Important news! Please read at the bottom of the story!

For the last past days after talking to Jellal, Erza avoided him as long as she could. In her school uniform and watching everyone in costume having fun and dancing with their dates from the punch table all alone made her feel worse. What was she thinking when she thought Jellal could like her? They've been friends since the age five and he never showed any interest in her. Thinking that she couldn't focus clearly. Always being strict wasn't what she wanted, it was to have fun and dance and even break some rules with the person she liked. This was why she always surrounded herself in armor so to say.

"Is Erza okay?" Juvia asked bending down to see Erza's face. She wore a sexy blue scaled strapless mermaid dress with white pearls as decorations along with a seashell hair pin. Her hairstyle was the same and she hid her face in a light blue mask.

The scarlet-hair snapped out of her train of thought, "J-Juvia? Oh. Yes, I am fine," she turned on her vice student council president face. "You look lovely by the way Juvia. Are you with someone?" she asked changing to a different subject.

Juvia turned on to her obsessive fan-girl mode, "thank you Erza! Juvia came with Gray-sama! He came here dressed as a vampire! A vampire!"

Flashback one day ago:

"Gray-sama! Will you be Juvia's date to the dance!" the swimmer asked with extreme happiness.

"How the hell do you know where I live!?" Gray yelled out his window. Luckily his father wasn't here, or else he would tease him about this.

"Is that a yes?!" Juvia asked, "Juvia isn't hearing a no!"

The raven-haired hissed, "I never said a damn yes either!"

"Please be Juvia's date to the Halloween dance!"

"I'm calling the cops!"

"Juvia has your phone!" she took out Gray's phone from her pocket and held it up for him to see.

"How the hell?! When did you take me phone?!" the stripper asked as he checked his pocket where he last put in.

"Gray-sama can have his phone back if you become Juvia's date!"

Gray face-palmed by the situation. Note to self always check his belongings, "if I say yes will you give me my phone and get out of here?"

"YEESSSS!" Juvia smirked.

"Okay, I'll be your date just give me my phone back." Gray yelled. Juvia left his phone on the front porch and left squealing and hearts surrounding her. "What the hell did I just agree on?" he sighed.

End of Flashback

Erza twitched her eye by the flashback. She didn't know if that was funnier or weirder. What Juvia did to get close to Gray even scared her a little. Just a little. "Where is Gray?"

"Gray-sama is with Natsu-san. Gray-sama asked me to came here to get some punch," she squealed grabbing some punch and pouring it in two cups. One for her and one for her forced date.

"Well, I wish you the best of luck in capturing Gray's heart," Erza smiled. She might have a better chance with Gray than she did with Jellal.

The bluenette hugged Erza carefully not spilling the punch on them, "thank you Erza, and you try your best with Jellal-san! Don't give up on him!" she smiled so innocently.

Erza could never understand where her energy to never give up on her and Gray came from, "thank you Juvia, I will try my best as well." Seeing her friend cheer her on made her somewhat feel better. Juvia immediately ran back to where Gray was as she yelled 'Gray-sama'. A smile crawled up on her face, "at least my friends are having fun. That's all that matters now..."

Natsu finished setting up the fake blood in the bucket. He grinned by the thought of Erza and Jellal getting poured by it. A small, very thin string would break when someone walked on it and cause the bucket to fall. Natsu was wearing his scarf of course, with a red scaled jacket and pants with dragon wings on the back of the jacket. He was also wearing a red mask for fun.

Gray was wearing fake fangs, a black rob with fake blood on it, and a mask only the color dark blue. He was the only one with him as he set it up the prank to cause less suspicion, but he felt that his prank was getting a little to far, "look flame-brain, I'm actually having second thoughts about this. Don't you think this too much?"

Natsu sighed, "don't flake on me ice-prick. We already set it up, so we might as well follow the plan."

"But still, remember we used to be Erza's friends unti-"

"I don't want to remember my past okay?!" Natsu interrupted. He's past was as harsh as Lucy's. The feeling of losing someone... But that is a story for another chapter Tee hee.

"... Fine... but I still don't like doing this," the vampire muttered biting his lips in guilt.

A golden masked blonde was waiting outside of the entrance for his date. Sting was wearing a white saber-tooth tiger outfit. Rouge and Yukino went ahead and partied.

"Is that you Saber-tooth?" a blonde girl wearing a blue dress with a white apron on top, curly down hair, a white headband with a bow on the side, white and blue horizontal striped long stockings and plain black shoes. "Nice costume, totally cooolllll," she rolled her eyes with sarcasm to the word cool.

Sting let out a small chuckle, "this is a Halloween party, not a look your sexiest party. Although you look pretty hot, let me guess Alice from Alice in Wonderland?"

"You know your books. I'm surprised," Lucy said putting on a her white mask, "shall we go Saber-tooth?" the Danger Class asked with her arm lightly jabbing Sting's chest.

"I thought you would never ask," the male blonde smiled taking her hand.

The two other members of Saber-Tooth was in the corner of the area drinking punch. Rouge was wearing a black cat outfit. Black pants, a black backpack with the words 'Fish' on it, black jacket, cat ears, paws, tail, and even put black marker on his face to make whiskers, all completing with a black mask. Yukino was wearing a princess Snow White outfit with even a poisoned apple in her hands as a prop and silver mask.

Yukino couldn't help but feel... empty... She was happy she came but... She didn't come with the person she wanted to... Well... Not as a date... The silver-haired showed a fake smile so Rouge didn't know she was hurt inside.

"It's not working," the raven-haired man said. Yukino widened her eyes by the words. Rouge continued to speak, "I know that smile is fake. You wanted to come with Sting didn't you?" Yukino nodded her head as Rouge opened his backpack. What appeared to be in it was a dazzling laced green dress with white high heels, jewelry to match, a green clip on bow, pure white gloves, and a green mask.

"...I didn't know you were into those kinds of things Rouge-sama..." Yukino muttered with a dark and gasping atmosphere around her.

Rouge blushed by her thoughts, "It's not for me! It's for you!" he tossed the costume to her. "I still feel bad about kicking you out during the Grand Sport Games so in order to make it up I want to help you win Stings heart."

Yukino stared at the dress. It was beautiful and look very expensive, "you didn't have to do that and besides how would this help me get Sting-sama?"

"Easy, we're gonna play Cinderella. When Sting's date is gone, you're gonna start dancing with him. He won't know who you are because of the new costume and mask. It won't help you win his heart but at least you can dance with him without him knowing that it was you."

At first she thought how stupid that was, this wasn't a dumb fairy tale. Sting wasn't going to fall in love with her just like that... But still... A part of her was begging to at least dance with him without him knowing she liked him... "I-I'll do it... I want to at least try!" Yukino hugged Rouge before running to the bathroom to change.

The raven-haired man took another sip of his punch, "I wonder where Gajeel-kun is?"

Levy was with her date on the dance floor. She was wearing a teacher costume. A black pencil skirt, her hair in a pony-tail, white long sleeve shirt, a ruler that was part of her costume and fake glasses for a replacement as a mask.

Gajeel was dressed up as a samurai with a real sword. He didn't put on a mask thinking it was stupid with how he was dressed, "so Shrimp how you holding up? Tired yet?"

Levy shook her head, "not in the least. I'm really happy we came together," a kiss on the cheek was placed upon the samurai. He reacted with a small blush. The iron lover turned his head not to show it, but Levy already spotted it and blushed as well.

"Look Bookworm, I need to tell you something about Salamander..." Gajeel said seriously.

Levy almost screamed when she heard what Natsu was about to do, "what?!"

After about 30 minutes have past of dancing with Sting, Lucy saw the time to be 11:00pm. She had to get things ready now. "Sting, I have to go to the bathroom. I'll be back in an hour!"

Sting blinked several times, "...How long do girls go to the bathroom?"

Lucy was racing to Jellal, but before she did a costume change so nobody would know who Lucy was while she was Celesta Star. She hid two other costumes in a hidden compartment in the bathroom and immediately changed. The blondes new costume was a princess fairy. A pink poof dress with white bows and pinkish wings complete with a pink mask. She grabbed the other one for Jellal. Once she spotted him she changed the pitch of her voice, so he wouldn't identify it. Luckily for her, he wasn't wearing a costume. "Jellal-kun."

He stared at her with a curious look, "is there something you need?"

The fairy showed the other costume in her arms, "please change into this!"

Observing the costume he just shook his head, "I have to make sure tha-"

"Please, you have to for Erza-san!" Lucy begged, "she really wanted to come with you, so please I beg of you to wear this costume!"

A sudden feeling rushed through his body. He never asked her to come with him because he was too scared... When they were little he betrayed her by the certain events that were going on... After she forgave him, he still couldn't forgive himself. "I can't... She deserves better... Not someone like me..."

The blonde's eyes turned ice-cold. Her hand raised itself and slapped Jellal in the face. Both widened their eyes in surprise, "W-what..." Lucy started to yell, "what is wrong with you?! She fucking loves you, and you're to depressed and upset with yourself! I don't know why you're being such a pussy! And maybe you're right, Erza does deserve better than you, but she chose you to love, so get yourself into this damn costume and prove to her and yourself that you can be her fucking prince charming because the next thing you know she could be gone forever!" Why was it that she was crying? This had barely anything to do with her. Lucy handed her the costume. "Come to the roof in that costume, or else you might never get the chance to tell her how you really feel before it's to late."

Before she could leave Jellal raised his hand towards her, "w-who are you?"

A smirk appeared on her face by the question, "I guess you can say I'm your personal Fairy Godmother."

Levy excused herself from Gajeel to meet up with Lucy. Gajeel was disappointed to see she had to go somewhere, but Rouge kept him company when he finally found him.

After around 11:20 she finally found the person she was looking for... Erza

"Erza!" Levy yelled out to her waving, "how's it going?" she asked grabbing some punch, immediately she changed the subject again, "why are you in that clothes? You should be in a costume." The blunette pointed out.

Erza only grinned, "I think these types of events are childish. They don't fit me too well."

Levy could easily see she was lying. The Bookworm had been her childhood friend since she could remember, and she knew a fake smile when she saw one. That and also Erza was surprisingly childish when it came to big events like when she had the opportunity to act, "I see... Would you like some punch?"

"I already had some thank you very mu- what the heck Levy?!" Erza's outfit was now covered in punch which Levy 'accidentally' spilled at when her fingers 'slipped'

"Oh! Erza! I'm so sorry!" Levy lied. She wasn't sorry in the least since this was all part of the plan. She closed her fist and hit her opened palm clashing them together with an 'o' shaped mouth and pretended to get an idea, "I have another costume with me. You can use that if you want Erza. I'll also pay for dry cleaning!" the bluenette pulled her wrist to get out of the dance.

"...But who will take my shift? Someone could go insane and crash the party while I'm gone," Erza reminded.

Levy froze, this was not part of the plan. In panic she started to quickly think who Erza trusted enough to take her place. She couldn't do it because she had to lead her on the roof, "um..." Levy immediately took notice of Juvia hugging Gray's arm protectively and brought them both there.

"What do you want Bookworm?" Gray questioned as he stared at Juvia like she was the creepiest creature on Earth-Land.

"Levy, I hope you have a very good reason why Juvia and Gray-sama are here," the swimmer pouted from her interrupting their 'love' time.

Levy broke in sweat, "I-I do actually. Erza needs to change clothes since I spilled punch on her, and she refuses to leave unless someone takes her place. Please do me a favor and watch the place," she begged.

"But Gray-sama and I were about to-"

"I love people who would do favors for their friends. Such kind, generous, beautiful people," Gray told Juvia who immediately reacted to what he said.

"JUVIA WILL DO IT!" she declared with hearts in her eyes.

"You own me two months of homework," the raven-haired whispered in Levy's ear putting two fingers up.

She couldn't help but twitch her eye to what had happened, "f-...fine" she sighed sadly and turned to Erza, "let's go!"

Waiting inside of the bathroom Levy was tapping her foot and looking at the time. 11:26... She had to hurry and get her up stairs, "are you done yet?" she asked not suspiciously.

"Yes... and I can't believe you had such a costume in my size," she opened the door to the stall space she was using to appear in a Fairy Tale scarlet dress like a Disney princess would wear. Her red high-heels and white crown with fake rubies decorated on it were a tad too much though. White bows surrounding the dress in many places, a necklace with a red rose figure, and long loose sleeve saddened to her. Erza would have loved to wear this. She truly would. It was beautiful... But it was sad since she wasn't wearing it for anyone special like she would have wanted to, but she had to smile and glacially accept it for Levy.

"You look amazing!" she squeaked hugging the princess.

The scarlet-haired couldn't help but blush, "t-thank you L-Levy... But now I should go back to my watch," they exited out the bathroom. Erza tried heading straight for the dance. Levy had to think of a way to get her upstairs before 11:30.

...Her plan was a long shot but there was no other choice left. Here goes nothing. "E-ERZA! Something horrible happened!" she lied pointing her finger up the ceiling, "p-people are on the roof throwing um... Babies!... Yea babies! Crying babies!" she mentally face-palmed herself. Babies?! Why did she say that out of all things?! No sane person would believe something as stupid as that!

"WHAT!? Thanks Levy! I'll take are of that right now!" the scarlet-haired rushed to the stairs faster than the speed of light...

"...Did that actually work?..." Levy blinked in amazement...

Sting was sitting down on a table resting his chin on it. He sighed waiting for his date. 'Where is she... She didn't just ditch me right... Did she?!' he thought. He shook his head. She wasn't that mean... She couldn't be... He knew she was a kind-hearted person inside.

"May I have this dance?" a kind voice asked. Sting looked up to see a stunning girl in an elegant green dress. Her mysterious smile and appearance made him speechless. His heart suddenly began to race faster and faster the closer she came. He couldn't help but blush. For a moment he felt like they were the only people there, he had no words to describe how he felt. He didn't understand what he was feeling right then.

The blonde barely could say anything, "I-Im... With someone... S-Sorry..." he avoided eye contact from the lovely lady in green. Sting began to sweat in nervousness.

The lady in green chuckled by his reaction, "I asked for a dance not marriage," she spoke in a sweet tone, "just one dance won't kill you right?" she offered him a hand up and smiled.

Sting was completely mesmerized by thy women's enchantment. How could someone here behind a mask make him feel the way he did? "I-I guess it won't hurt..." he muttered.

Right when he said that she pulled him up, and they raced to the dance floor. The song suddenly changed into a slow dance which surprised both by the timing.

'Now for all you love birds is a time to dance together with passion. This one is for my new girlfriend Jasmine. Take it slow and enjoy every minuet of it folks!' Loke who was the DJ announced at the time.

The two blushed surrounded by couples who were dancing. This was not what both of them were expecting. The lady in green boldly wrapped her arms around Sting's neck blushing until her face was as red as a tomato and her lips quivering. 'I can't believe I'm doing this with Sting-sama! He probably thinks I'm weird...' she thought... But to her surprise Sting put his hands around her waist and started to dance with her.

'Why am I dancing with her?! I'm suppose to be dancing with Lucy! Why would my body do this to me?!' Sting mentally slapped himself looking away from his dance partner. How their feet talked for them, spinning and dancing with each other, they felt as if everything on their shoulders were lifted. They both felt so... So... Alive dancing with each other. Both didn't want the moment to end. 'Who is she?' Sting thought twirling her around. He felt so enlightened by their touch.

"By the rules of this school, I will punish you for throwing babies of the ro-" Erza's sentence stopped when she opened the door to see nobody throwing babies off the building. There was a beautiful lighting from the lovely scented candles everywhere, a round table with a blue cloth covering the surface added with a dozen red roses in a small vase on top, two brown chairs were next to the table each at different sides with another, a women wearing a pink fairy costume holding a violin in her hands ready to play soon, and a man wearing a prince costume in a light blue mask came toward her. She hadn't noticed she was on a trail of beautiful red roses.

"May I take your hand madam?" the man in the blue mask asked reaching out his hand for her as he knelled kissing Erza's hand.

The scarlet-haired at first was shocked and blushed at her setting. Then seeing the man knelling for her broke that shock. Even though he was wearing a mask, Erza somehow knew exactly who it was, "w-what is this Jellal?" she asked trying to hold her blush. Was this for her?

He looked at her in amazement, "how did you know it was me?" he asked blushing as well.

"I-I don't know... I just know it's you..." both were red from embarrassment and stared down the floor trying best not to look at each other. "I-I's this thing for me?..."

Jellal at first didn't speak and only grabbed her wrist to the table. They haven't taken the seats yet and only waited to see what would happen next. The pink fairy started to play the violin. A kind gentle love song which she composed herself. Jellal knew he had to do it this moment... For himself and her... He had to tell her...

What if she doesn't like me back?...

What if she says she does like me? What would happen if we started dating and broke up?...

What if I can't make her happy?...

What if she hates me forever for doing this?...

If...

Why were there so many if's?

Jellal stared at Erza who was moving her hair from her face and staring and the red roses in the vase...

Don't say if's anymore... Instead...

He had to live in the moment...

"Erza Scarlet..." he started to speak. Erza gulped to hear what he would say. Her heart began to race faster and faster. Jellal took both her hands gently and grabbed all the courage he could. To live in the moment... "I love you Erza, and I want you to be my girlfriend" he said proudly. Just then had the violin stopped playing.

Everything froze for Erza. Time had stopped. It was just them... I love you Erza... The words filled her mind. Tears started to form and fall and splashed on the ground. She barley could say anything back from the hiccups. "I-I-I" she attempted to say. More tears came out the second. She tackled Jellal which the impact made both of them fall. "I love you too Jellal! I always have." Clenching onto his costume she smiled in relief. The one she loved, loved her back. Everything in her body felt so happy, this was what love meant.

She loved him... And he loved her.

Their lips slowly met and clashed onto each other kindly. A gentle touch. It lasted for fifteen seconds until they both pulled apart and laughed. Finally... They had a real fairy tale happening. "So did you do all this for me?" she asked seductively pushing her body harder onto her new boyfriend's.

The blue-haired shook his head which confused Erza. If it wasn't him, then who was it? "It was my Fairy Godmother," he pointed up to the last place where the blonde was at, but they saw nobody there but only them. Where she went didn't really matter now though, "look Erza... I never planned this... The girl who played the violin did. I think. I was to afraid of confessing... Sorry..." he shamed himself for not doing this by himself.

A kiss on the cheek was received. It made his eyes widened by this act, "but you were the one who confessed to me, that is the only thing that matters," the scarlet-haired hugged him tightly. "Don't worry, you deserve some credit for saying you love me right?"

He hugged her back, "yea... I love you so much I'd give my life for you..."

"And I too"

Lucy rushed downstairs to the dance again to set up her equipment for her broadcast. She told Levy to make sure Erza and Jellal came back down for the crowning for king and queen of the Halloween Dance. Almost everything was complete.

While running she down the hall she hit into somebody too fast which made both of them fall, she was very lucky that she was still wearing her mask, "I-I'm sorry."

By the color of the person's hair she bumped into, she knew exactly who she it was, her eyes nearly fell out seeing... The king of Royals... Natsu Dragneel... Why did she have to deal with him of all times? He patted his costume and stood back up, "are you alright?" he asked gently. Lucy had never heard Natsu say anything like that to her before, so she was shocked by his question. He offered her his hand and she grabbed it. "So who are you?" the Star class asked.

The blonde flinched. He would get suspicious of her if she told him who she was... She had to make up something believable and fast, quick. "H-have you no manners?! Y-you should tell me who you are before asking," she said gulping.

He blinked several times, "your lucky I'm feeling good right now or else I would have bitched you out," he spoke kindly but the face's expression didn't match up. He grabbed her wrist and pulled her into a slow dance form, "now the least you could do is dance with me blondie~"

Lucy felt her face getting hotter by the second as they dance. He was an excellent dancer... Why was it she was smiling when she was dancing with the one she hated most? Wait... Why was this even happening?! She had to get ready before midnight! "Sorry but I need to go," the Danger class tried pushing him away.

"You do know who I am right?" he questioned pulling her tighter.

She couldn't take anymore of it, "yes I do, you're the jerk King of Royals. More like the king of bastards though. Now let go!" Lucy slapped him in the face as hard as she could and ran off when he loosed the grip. She never felt so happy doing what she did. He deserved every moment of that slap.

Back to Natsu, he widened his eyes at what had happened. He placed his hand on the spot where he have been slapped. He wanted to get mad, but he couldn't get that feeling. It was like he didn't want to hurt the person behind the mask. His heart started to race remembering her sass towards him. Who was that girl who made his heart beat?

He caught a whiff of her scent. "Vanilla..."

It was now 11:55. Erza and Jellal returned downstairs dancing together after a romantic dinner they had found under the table. Levy and Gajeel continued to dance which caused Rouge in becoming the third wheel. Natsu was ready for his prank for revenge. Juvia had to still be in Erza's place since she never came back for it, and Gray was kind enough to stay with her for some reason. Nobody knew where Lucy went. And Sting was still dancing with the lady in green for some reason unable to get her away from him... No... more like he didn't want to... It was... a Special feeling.

'Are you guys ready to announce who will me the King and Queen of the Halloween Dance?!' Loke asked on the stage where two thrones, crowns, and staffs were. Everyone in the crowed was screaming in excitement.

Natsu grinned devilishly. He was in the front row seeing his plan start. This was it.

'The king and queen of this year is... Erza Scarlet and Jellal Fernandes'

All the people in the crowd at first were confused at how that had happened but then started to clap. Erza blushed again by the thought of being crowned with her new boyfriend. Jellal pulled her into the stage where they took their steps.

Gray bit his tongue in guilt not wanting to see what would happen next, and Natsu saw their feet meeting closer and closer to the string by every step.

Three more steps left

Two more steps left

One more step left

This was it

They stepped on the string!

...

Nothing happened...

They stepped on the string but the blood didn't fall down on them. Natsu dumb-founded and Gray sighed in relief.

How could this have happened?!

Flashback 11:10:

Levy searched for Lucy to tell her what Gajeel had told her about the blood prank, "Lu-chan!" she yelled in the crowd. It was too overwhelming. She was about to trip. Before her head would hit the floor, a hand grabbed her.

"Levy-chan? What are you doing here? Why aren't you with Erza? I got Jellal to the roof already," Lucy said.

The Bookworm blinked first finally realizing it was Lucy in the princess fairy dress, "why are you dressed like that? You look so cute!" Levy praised.

The blonde blushed by the compliment but maintained her focus, "I put this on so Jellal wouldn't recognize me remember. Never-mind that, get to Erza before 11:10." Lucy reminded.

Levy quickly remembered why she needed to talk to Lucy, "Lu-chan! Natsu is planning something really bad!" she said in panic.

The Danger class gritted her teeth hearing that, "what is he planning?"

"Gajeel told me Natsu was going to let Erza and Jellal win the scare couple contest. When they would get up blood would drop on them, humiliating them in front of everyone! What should we do Lu-chan?!"

Lucy cussed and thought her next move, "...The plan will be continued alright. I'll take care of the bucket of blood before the crowning. Levy-chan hurry up and go now."

The rosy-haired glared at the happy couple. This wasn't suppose to happen. How did this end up to be total opposite of his plan?!

The time struck midnight and the couple became crowned. Cheers and claps around them.

'Testing, testing. One. Two. Three. Is this thing on? Hello everybody!' the intercom turned on. Everyone focused their attention on it... It was Celesta Star.

Natsu ran to the office hearing her voice. This couldn't have been a recording like last time. He knew it was her. Shoving others who got in the way, he was determined to get her this time.

'This is a special broadcast to my people at Fairy Tail High School. I want to give myself a shout out and say congratulations to the scare couple Erza Scarlet and Jellal Fernandes. You two rock and deserve each other. I'm gonna cut this short since people are after me so please enjoy this special song. It's old and some of you may hate it, but I think it perfectly suits our situation~'The announcement turned off and the song started.

"May I have the greatest honors of having this dance? Cinderella?" Jellal asked offering Erza's his hand. Her smile answered his question and they grabbed each others waist and neck. They finally had the happily ever after they always wanted. She was his Cinderella, and he was her Prince charming.

"So Shrimp, are you finally ready to slow dance with me? You ran out on me for a long time you know," Gajeel grinned snatching Levy's wrist, "you deserve to be punished you know."

The Bookworm blushed immensely by his seductive whisper in her ear, "G-Gajeel!" she squealed, "I-I love you..." the bluenette muttered embarrassingly kissing his cheek and pulling back as fast as she could.

Now it was Gajeel's turn to blush, "w-what the heck?!..." the iron lover mumbled, "l-let's just both shut up and dance..."

Levy was more happy to do as he asked, "of course."

"Gray-sama! Please dance with Juvia!" the swimmer begged. This was the perfect time to dance with him. Perfect moment, perfect setting, perfect everything. Gray sighed but did as she asked. He was just happy that Erza and Jellal wasn't covered in blood from head to toe. "J-Juvia's dancing with Gray-sama!" the bluenette fainted in joy.

Gray caught her in time before she hit the ground, "you really are something you know that..." he carried her princess style to put her to rest. He had to admit that she looked very cute how she was now.

The lady in green realized how long she had danced with Sting. She was amazed he stayed with her for so long. This wasn't a happily ever after, but she was grateful for what she had right then. This was the best night of her life. Putting hand to hand, dancing feet to feet, this was good enough. This was a dream come true.

Natsu reached the office door to see a figure was behind it. This was it. He would finally see who Celesta Star was... "Open the door," Natsu demanded trying to kick it down.

Lucy gulped in nervousness and packed up all her equipment. This part of the plan could have really used work. She was planning on using the air vent like last time, but it was bolted shut. The only exit was the door Natsu was banging on. "Shit..." the blonde said. She knew if it was Natsu who was trying to break the door down it wouldn't be long.

The door broke down and the two eyes' met. Natsu remembered she was the one who ran into him. That must have been the reason he had such a weird feeling in his heart. She really was beautiful. He was paralyzed by her shine.

The Danger class tried to run, but Natsu unconsciously grabbed her from leaving. He had seen her... He was holding on to her... She had no idea if he knew it was her in the mask.

"What's going on over there?" a man wearing a black suit yelled out.

Luckily for the radio girl, the rosy-haired let his grip loose from the surprise. She ran off as fast as she could from him and went into the large crowd of people dancing to lose him off her trail. Her plan had worked.

He had completely lost her. He let her get away before he could see her face... "I was... So close..." he whispered staring at the hand he used to grab her... Only if he had more time to see her face... He could have found out who she was...

Natsu got out of the building and lay his body on the tall grass admiring the beautiful stars up the black sky... He reached his hand out as if he could grab them... "The scent of vanilla huh?"

When the coast was clear, Lucy changed back to her original costume and rushed back to Sting. The blonde couldn't help but have her heart beating so fast. It had to be because she was almost caught right? That had to be it... That was the only explanation...

Yukino realized Sting's date was coming back and quickly ran off which Sting reacted by flinching of her sudden movement.

He wanted to dance with her even longer... Wait! What?! He was supposed to like Lucy! Not a girl behind a mask! Why was he even thinking that?!

"Sorry it took so long," Lucy apologized.

Sting shook his head and smiled back at her, "don't worry about it. Let's just dance it out," he offered, they set into position and started to do the waltz. He felt something off though... He hadn't had this feeling with Lucy like he did with the lady in green... Why was that? A women he had no idea who she was... Never-mind that. Forget about that and just dance and have fun. And he did. Being with Lucy was comforting, she had to be the one. Not anybody else... Only her... Right?

Lucy felt heavy. It was fun dancing with Sting... But... It wasn't the feeling she had when she danced with Natsu... Why was she even thinking about him?! Forget him... All that matters now is having fun and actually enjoying life. Everyone was smiling and happy. And so was she.

Yukino's heart ached seeing the two have so much fun together. But it was for the best, this was how it was suppose to be... He couldn't love someone like her... A girl who brought bad luck... Comparing to her and Lucy... She was just trash like always... Hot tears came, "...When can I have my happily ever after?..."

I hope you people are happy. It's almost 7,000 words. Man that was hard. My longest chapter so far. Sorry for any errors I made. It's so long I gave up on reading it over again.
