Last night at the Halloween dance was hell for Lucy, she had fun watching others be happy and dancing with Sting but if you add all that with drama and people almost finding out her secret it equals needs rest.

Helping=Drama=Rest

It was Sunday morning, and Lucy got out of her bed at three'o'clock in the afternoon. She couldn't get any rest until 3:00 am; apparently, someone slipped a drug (probably one of the bitches who's jealous she's Gajeel's girlfriend) into Levy's punch at around 12:30 am and despite Gajeel trying to keep her from wandering around drunk, Lucy had to help him out secretly.

Sting helped also realizing she was Lucy's friend.

In the end Gajeel swore to never let Levy near drugs, Lucy almost died from a car crash, and Sting is now afraid of Levy.

...They swore never to speak of what had happened last night... What happens in the dance stays in the dance...

The blonde gotten up to hear Plue barking at her in excitement. Running up to her legs and jumping to get to her height, he stuck his tongue out panting and smiled with joy. Lucy couldn't help but smile, "you're so cute Plue," she picked up her dog and began teasing him by lightly tapping his head several times which made him try to bite her hand. She set Plue to rest in his little doggy home located to the right corner of the room. After, she brushed her hair and teeth.

Lucy went into her small kitchen grabbing a box of Frosted Flakes, milk, bowl, and a spoon. This was what she was going to have for brunch. She lazily ate her cereal and blanked out for a while. She remembered on how close she was on her identity being discovered by Natsu. It was weird though. When he had grabbed her it wasn't pressured or grabbing hard, he grabbed with a kind touch as if he didn't want to let go but also not hurt her. Who knew he could have such a gentle touch...

...

...

What was she thinking?! Why was she even thinking about his touch?! Gross! Think about something else! Think about something else!

Sting!

...

...

Sting... He was very nice to her despite knowing how cold she could be towards others. She ditched him for over an hour and he still smiled at her... He was... strange... His laugh, heart, touch...

...

...

Stop thinking about touching!

Lucy's face was completely red from thinking about the men from last night. She dropped her face and slammed her forehead on the wooden table. Steam literally came out of her head in embarrassment. Trying to distract herself from thinking more inappropriate things, she grabbed her phone and tried to call Levy to help her forget all that. Sadly her voice-mail told her she was either dead or with her new boyfriend Gajeel.

It looked like she had the day all to herself. She finished her bowl of cereal and put it in the sink. Washing the dishes, she thought of many ways to spend her Sunday. Maybe go to the park with Plue all day, go see a movie, finish her book, or go to the new café that opened up recently. She once passed by it during school and saw the cutest desserts. The blonde decided to go to the café.

She changed out of her blue star patterned pajamas and into a no plain sleeve white top with small laces on the top with a dark blue jacket from Hollister over it half zipped, short black mini skirt with her belt and keys attached to it, long light material black boots, and for the finishing touch a white ribbon to the side of her head making a small side pony-tail.

The store said no pets allowed in the store, so Lucy couldn't bring Plue with her. She exited her apartment yelling good-bye to Plue before leaving.

It was a great warm weather despite being November now. As she walked she saw the beautiful colored leaves falling off the trees by the breeze. Such vivid colors falling down like confetti. The wind was strong but warm so that was greatly appreciated. Sun shining bright made her want to walk even longer. "I wish everyday could be like this~" she sang happily.

The café was just around the corner. She ran the rest of the way anxious to get desserts. It was a small place with a some tables set outside to eat. The building was the light yellow color with many candy decorations on it to pop it out more. As she entered the door, the a small bell attached to the top of the door rang to tell if costumers were leaving or arriving. The inside was just as cute from the outside. Many people were here was well as her, she mentally sighed as she saw the long line.

Observing the choices of desserts, Lucy couldn't just choose only one. Everything looked desirable.

"I'm glad we came here. I have wanted to come with you for ages," a feminine familiar voice said as the bell attached to the door rang.

"This place really is packed even though it just opened though," another voice said.

...

Lucy turned her head slightly enough to see who they were and not let them see her back... Her suspicions were right. It was Erza and Jellal! After everything that happened yesterday, she did not want to deal with having Erza glare and hiss at her as Danger Class Lucy. Lucy scooted away from them slowly and lower her head down. 'Why now of all times?'

"Look at that strawberry cupcake! no wait, doughnut! That strawberry-short cake looks good too," Erza muttered unable to decide what looked best. Her eyes were literally sparkling as she stared at the sweets. "Excuse me miss but could you move a little?" the scarlet-haired tapped Lucy on the shoulder.

Lucy almost jumped by the touch, "a-ah of course!" she ran to the opposite side of the store trying to get as far away as she could from her. Why couldn't life just give her a break for once.

The bell connected to the door rang again, "Natsu-nii-san! I want some marble cake!" a bluenette squealed being surrounded by sweets. It was Wendy Marvell and Natsu Dragneel... Of course...

'...Maybe I should get some sweets another time...' Lucy thought trying to escape the café. It had stopped when a chair was almost thrown at her by an inch. She hesitantly looked back to see who it was who nearly hit her.

"Leave us alone Dragneel," Erza darkly spoke. Jellal seemed to try to calm her down but it didn't work in the least. Wendy was smart enough to realize it was time to hide and hid under a table covering her head with her arms for protection.

Natsu brushed Erza off like dust, "out of all the time you had to come to this café it had to be now? What bad luck," he sighed sadly, "I was looking forward to having such a nice day with no nagging or shouting. I feel so bad for your boyfriend for having to deal with you all day."

Erza was obviously pissed off on what he said. I was fine to insult only her, but it would be a death wish to involve her new boyfriend, "you are a dead man Dragneel... How would you like to die? Strangulation? Beating? Stab to death by a sword a thousand times?" she asked cracking her knuckles and walking towards the rosy-haired man.

Jellal again tried and failed to calm her down. This time he gotten knocked out by a fist to the face and fell to the ground unconscious. Wendy sighed. Having Natsu for a step-brother for so long must have readied her for this types of situations.

"You knocked out by boyfriend! You are getting it now!" she hissed despite her being the one to put her boyfriend unconscious.

Natsu grinned, "all right! I'm all fired up!"

Lucy looked at both dumb-founded. She kept distant from people as much as she could so she haven't noticed how often the two started a fight. Was it like this every time?! This couldn't get any worse!

The bell rang again... Every time that bell rang the situation gotten worse... Who was it this time?

"I heard this is a great place to get some desserts Gajeel! I've been dying to come here~" her best friend Levy said holding hands with Gajeel. It looked like this was their destination for a place for their date.

'Not you too Levy-chan!' Lucy yelled in her mind. The blonde did as Wendy had done and went under a table. Many others have done the same thing as furniture kept flying everywhere.

A table thrown at Gajeel to the face from Natsu didn't help the situation. More like making it much horrid, "what the fuck Salamander?!" he screamed throwing the closest chair that was next to him. Jellal finally regained consciousness, but since Natsu dodged the chair it hit the bluenette instead.

"Jellal!" Erza yelled trying to gain back her boyfriends consciousness, "Gajeel you bastard! You're dead meat you hear me?!" a fire burst out of Erza's body...

Levy also took cover...

If this gotten any more trouble the police would come soon... Scratch that, the police are probably on their way here as they speak... When they came she could just tell them she had nothing to do with this and blame Natsu for everything. He would probably go to jail... That means everyone wins! (Except for him, but she couldn't careless)

Once again the bell rang... Somebody, please get rid of that wretched thing...

"Frosh would really like the frosting from this place," Rouge said to Sting and Yukino entering the small building to see Erza, Natsu, and Gajeel trying to kill each other with plastic knifes.

"Cool! Natsu-san is here!" Sting cheered. Yukino did the same as any normal person would do and seek for shelter. Rouge tried to have a fight with Gajeel but ended up being thrown out-of-the-way by Erza. Sting wanted to help Natsu but was also thrown away like his raven-haired friend.

It was strange how he was pushed to exactly where Lucy was hiding, "L-Lucy?!" he blurt out in surprise. He smiled by the sight of her, "you here to get some sweets to huh?" he stared back at the fight.

Natsu found some fresh cake batter and threw it everyone. The female blonde noticed something about him. He was smiling... He looked really happy having fun in the fight. Lucy would have never thought he could smile like that. He always gave cold smirks and taunting tones but now he looked like he was having the time of his life. When she looked at the others, they did as well. Erza and Gajeel were smiling too as they avoided the cake batter. Even Wendy, Levy, Yukino, costumers, and even some of the workers smiled.

Seeing his face smile so joyously made Lucy feel strange, she felt her heart racing for some reason. He wasn't the King of Royals and nobody was here as any Class. They were here as themselves. Was this the real Natsu... Her heart beat faster, lips started to curve, eyes brighten. This was... how to put it... fun...

"This really is something," she admitted.

Sting grinned, "of course! Natsu-san may seem mean many times, but if you really know him well enough you'll see he isn't such a bad guy despite what his doing or done."

It was true that Lucy didn't know anything about the rosy-haired life outside of school or why he was always so mean to others. But to be frank, he never gave anyone a reason to think he was a kind guy... Maybe... Just maybe he was kinda like her... Maybe...

Before Lucy could think anymore, a cake Natsu threw hit her in the face... She was wrong to even think he could be a kind guy. He was horrible! Even when he had no idea she was here, he somehow did something bad to her. He was evil!

Sting chuckled and swiped some of the cake off her face, "good cake don't you think?" he teased tasting the cake from the finger he used to take so for himself, "delicious! The cakes here really are good!"

This was her breaking point, "you like cake right Sting-chan?" she asked darkly grabbing a cake she found laying on the ground near by.

Her smirk told Sting what she was planning to do, "l-lets calm down now L-Luce. We don't want to do anything we'll regret later on right?" he tried to reason with her as he crawled away from the girl with no hesitation to throw the cake at him. "W-We're friends right?" he pleaded.

"You are not my friend," with those words, Lucy smashed the cake to his face with much satisfaction. "Now that felt great~"

The bell rang again. Who could it be now? There was already a fight. How could it get any worse?

"Police! Stop the fighting now you hooligans!" it was no other than Lahar and Doranbolt.

Doranbolt & Lahar:

Two rookies in the police department. They did an undercover mission to see Fairy Tail high school from the inside because of the rumors of so many drugs, weed, and crack. Doranbolt disguised himself as a new student named Mest while Lahar did outside research. They haven't found and weed or crack as evidence so they had to withdraw from it.

"Hi Doranbolt-san," Wendy kindly greeted. The two gotten along quite well during the time of the undercover mission despite her step-brother trying to avoid him at the time.

"Of course it's Fairy Tail again... Oh! Hello Marvell. I'm not too glad to see you in this type of mess again. Do something about your brother will you?" he said taking his gun out and pointing it towards Erza, Natsu, and Gajeel.

"Nobody can control him, not even me apparently. Sorry," she apologized.

"Put the frosting down now!" Lahar ordered also pointing the gun at them.

"Are you two even allowed to pull out your guns at us?! It's only a small fight! This has to be illegal!" Sting remarked in disbelief.

Doranbolt shook his head, "Fairy Tail made so much trouble in the past the mayor allows the police to use tranquilizing dart at them when needed too."

"Tranquilizing darts?!" Lucy and Sting repeated at the same time. It was amazing how much Fairy Tail could cause trouble enough to be allowed to shoot at.

"The police again?" the rosy-haired trouble-maker sighed. He stared at the batch of frosting next to him and looked back at Lahar, "take this you stupid police!" with one strong throw the whole bowl hit the officers face...

Doranbolt deadpanned. This was not going to end well... Lahar whipped the frosting off his face, "you're so gonna get it now," he pointed his tranquilizing gun at Natsu and pulled the trigger.

"Shit!" despite his amazing athletic skill, Natsu couldn't dodge the dart, "I see pretty lights..." those were the last words before he fainted from the effects the tranquilizing gun. Everything went down hill from there.

Erza, Natsu, and Gajeel ended up being banned from the café for life. Doranbolt pulled some strings for Natsu to give him a warning for today. Wendy took her step-brother home. Erza became depressed because of the banned, so Jellal tried to cheer her up with a promise of movies. Levy decided to ignore Gajeel for the rest of the day for his punishment which he found totally unfair because he claimed he only fought in 'self-defense'. Rouge did manage to get some frosting but not the way he wanted it or where... Yukino was calm about what had happened.

And Sting and Lucy managed to find some cake that wasn't destroyed in the fight. They decided to eat it together outside.

"It's vanilla flavored... my favorite," Lucy blushed noticing Sting was smiling at her.

"What a coincidence! Mine too," he brought two forks over for them to use to eat the cake. Lucy glared at him which made him only laugh again, "don't worry about it, I payed." Lucy stretched out her hand for the fork after hearing that. Sting found it just too cute, "so I guess this is kinda like a date huh? Talking together and all that."

"I don't think a date is when you're in the middle of a fight, cake smashing onto your face, and police coming with tranquilizing darts, idiot..." she mumbled. Lucy saw the time already being 6:00 pm. Time goes fast when you're in the crowd of the fight.

"But we still got to know each other more, and we're sharing cake right?" he brightly said handing her the fork.

"...W-Whatever..." Lucy muttered. She stabbed the fork into the cake and ate it, savoring every moment of the rich taste. It reminded of her old home. She love the cake her personal pastry chef made for her...

Sting noticing her frown tried to cheer her up, "have you ever noticed you look really cute eating cake before?" he teased.

It was weird for a person to try to cheer her up. She has always been alone besides Plue. She wasn't lonely anymore... She had Levy and Sting now... Levy, her best friend and Sting... her... her... ACQUAINTANCE! An acquaintance. Nothing more, nothing less... "t-thanks for the compliment..." she whispered putting her head lower so he wouldn't see her face.

The male blonde blinked... She... She thanked him! Yes! In his mind he was doing his victory dance. He would have loved to do it now but it would look in front of Lucy. He wanted to look even cooler in her eyes, "you're welcome Lucy," he grabbed some cake and inserted it into his mouth, "one of the best cakes I ever tasted," he smiled.

"I know right? This place is amazing," Lucy agreed strongly. The taste was like her taste-buds were dancing on her tongue.

"T-That isn't the reason this is one of the greatest cakes I've ever tasted," Sting immediately said with his cheeks brightened red.

He was a strange one... Why would he say that wasn't the reason why if... Ohhh... Now she understood what he meant and started to blush also. She wanted to stop this akward moment now, so she changed the subject. Because it was fall season the sun would set about now, "t-the sunset is really beautiful today don't you think?" she asked.

"Yea... the prettiest sunset I ever saw," he moved closer to her watching the sun go down.

Lucy stared at his smile... The weird thing was...

When she saw his smile, she couldn't help but remember how innocent Natsu's smile before looked...

He hated Fairy Tail. He hated their disgusting ethics and morals. He hated that his guild was destroyed by them. He was going to let them pay. If they care for their nakama so much, how far are they willing to go to save one of them..
