When the crew exited the building, Natsu and Lucy were dumb-founded when they heard they had to stay in the school despite finishing up the school's mysteries. "Why do we have to stay here?" the blonde question folding her arms and glaring at the others. She didn't want to spend one more second with Natsu being 100 feet close to her.

Gray chuckled at her reaction, "don't you remember your exact words when you made the bet with Flame-brain?" he asked grinning which got her to remember the bet.

"We have a bet. Whoever can stay in the school the longest is the winner. Loser has to be the slave for a month!"

Hell...

The deal was whoever stayed the longest... Not finish first...

"Nice job bitch," the rosy-haired hissed obviously annoyed that he had to stay in the school with her alone now.

Lucy's eye twitched. Even she was angry with herself, she just had to say those word?! Now, she had to stay here with the person she hated most!, "you think I'm happy about this? Can't you just exit so we can go home?" she shrugged her shoulders.

"So you can make me your slave? How dumb do you think I am," he asked rolling his eyes.

The busty blonde smirked, "out of 1-10, I would say 1000," she imitated his action and huffed out in annoyance.

"Have fun you two," Gajeel waved good-bye as the others went back to their homes. They couldn't help but laugh at the situation going on between the two. The Bookworm waved at Lucy nervously mouthing, 'sorry'.

Great...

Just fucking great...

Before Lucy could have a mental freak-out, the King of Royals grabbed her shoulder and sighed, "how about we both exit at the same time? That way none of us have to be a slave," he offered calmly when he was hiding his emotions of wanting to just murder her for putting him into this situation. Despite all of that, he actually meant those words.

Lucy rose a brow, "and why should I believe you? You could just push me when I'm not expecting it, and you will have me as your slave," she pointed out. The blonde wasn't going to fall for any tricks.

"It's not a trick Danger Girl. Unlike you, I'm a busy person. Do we have a deal or not?" he put out his had for her to grab.

Lucy widened her eyes when she saw that he was offering his hand to her. Her heart skipped a beat. She hesitantly took his hand after a moment of shock and disbelief, "... fine..." she muttered. His hold wasn't as rough and tight as she thought he would put on purpose to harm her hand. They both stepped out of the school at the same time. After that, they immediately took their hand back. Lucy stared at hers for a second. She felt how warm and rough the Star Class's hand was...

"See ya," Natsu said emotionless as he walked towards the streets to his house.

This got Lucy's mind thinking... Why didn't he just push her out or trick her so he could win and make her his slave? Didn't he hate her to the core? As she saw him getting farther and farther away from her, she grabbed the hand he held a minuet ago and placed it on her heart. Just what kind of guy was he?

He was honest and fair right then, but he was also a sadist towards her too... He was a bastard who made her cry many times, but he also made her feel... Feel... Feel what? What did he make her feel exactly?

Lucy left for her home blushing madly while still thinking about the question... What did she feel about him?!

It had been a few days after the Seven Mysteries of the School happened. Lucy gotten her revenge on her best friend by making her pay for many sweets she bought at a cafe, Mira got a small step closer on finding out who Celesta is, and the principle finally got a restraining order for the paparazzi, so Erza didn't have to worry about them anymore, but one or to manage to sneak in to ask students questions.

Right then, Lucy was walking towards school. Her focus was poor since she wasn't paying attention to anything around her. Everything was pretty much normal. Natsu was a jerk, she was still able to hide her identity, and nobody was even thinking she was Celesta ...But her mind was filled with negativity. She remembered what Natsu almost asked her back then...

"... are you.. Cele-"

Remembering that exact moment got her blood to rush... that was so close. Whether he thinks she was Celesta or not, she had to make sure he never found out who she really was.

"Move it Danger Girl," a voice hissed and bumped into her shoulder harshly. She glared roughly back at the person who did that action to her and widened her eyes as she saw it was Natsu. Her eyes turned soft for a moment and turned back into a glare before anyone could notice.

"You may control the school, but I'd rather die than listen to you," Lucy hissed as her hair blew through the wind while she walked into the building. The blonde ignored the glares and gossip about her while walking in the hallway.

Levy, Erza, Jellal, and Juvia were entering the classroom together smiling and laughing. The Bookworm noticed the radio girl, but simply gave her a small smile. It wasn't rude. Lucy even requested that she didn't talk to her during school or near her friends to protect her identity. Lucy entered the same room the trio did and sat down in her seat calmly.

Laxus's tribe, and Natsu and his gang came in with some girls drooling over them. The blonde rolled her eyes. What did those idiots see in them?

"Good morning students," the teacher Bisca Connell finally greeted the class and wrote something on the board. The female teacher had a huge grin on for some reason, "I'm sure you students are very excited for this time of year," she smiled with glee, "the cultural festival!"

Lucy's inner self was cheering with happiness when she heard the news. Things like the cultural festival was one of her most favorite things! Though her outer self had to look uninterested in it, she sighed in boredom to convince anyone near her to think she had no interest.

"This year," the teacher continued, "we will be doing a play that one of our own student wrote this year. It is called Hidden Heart be Levy McGarden who will tell you what it is about," Bisca introduced the Bookworm to take the spotlight.

"I hope you enjoy the play I wrote," Levy started off. Erza and Juvia were giving her a thumbs up for good luck and Lucy smiled at her for encouragement, "it's a princess tale with a twist," she said circling her finger. "The plot is about a princess who pretends to be who she is not in order to make the people around her happy. One day she is forced into an engagement. That's where she draws the line and runs away. The princess meets up with a dragon that is said to be a vicious creature, and they fall in love with each other."

The green-haired teacher got out a stack of scrips and a can filled with sticks, "for the roles, I decided to let luck do all the work. Everyone must take part in this," she stared at Natsu and Lucy, "and I mean everyone," she said the word 'everyone' strongly. "Now everyone please come here and draw a stick from the can to decide what role you will get."

Erza formed a line so the students wouldn't go on a rampage to get their parts. She of course wanted to get the lead and prayed she would. The scarlet haired went first and picked up a stick in the middle to see on the bottom it was written 'Emily'

Everyone went one by one. Lucy was the one who got the last stick. When she picked it, she refused to look at what part she got and hid the name of the role she got from her eyes.

The teacher put down who got the main parts on the board.

Princess Lori: ?

The rest of the students were going to work on either the stage, equipment, clothes, etc. Everyone in the room looked curiously on who Princess Lori was. They gotten every person accounted for but Lucy which they didn't know yet, "who got Lori?" the teacher asked the students who reacted with confusion.

The blonde began to sweat in excitement and nervousness. She slowly looked at the stick she picked and looked at the role it said on the bottom. The Danger Class's eyes popped out and stared at it after seeing what role she gotten... It said... Lori... Lori... She got the lead?! Lucy immediately hid the stick so nobody would see it. She wanted to help but not be the main character!

Levy counted on who got what part and saw that her best friend's name wasn't on there. The bluenette tapped on the teachers shoulder, "the only person were missing is Lucy Heartfilia."

Lucy's peers stared at her...

Inside her mind she was freaking out and plotting her revenge on Levy. The blonde sighed calmly as she got up her seat and revealed her stick to the people around her, "I got the princess. It doesn't suit me so go with the understudy," she waved the stick off like it was nothing and dropped it. She harshly stepped on it and then sat back down with a teasing smirk as if it was telling them they couldn't do anything to her.

The teacher glared at her, "Ms. Heartfillia," she talked kindly as if she was trying to get her in a good mood, "we need to stick with the parts we gotten. That is the rules, and I am afraid you have to be Princess Lori unless you get a sickness or get an injury."

Natsu clicked his tongue, "how can this bitch be a princess?" he said loudly for the whole class to hear, "you aren't kind," he walked closer to her, "you aren't sweet," he continued talking now face to face with the blonde, "and you aren't capable of love."

The students behind started to talk about this.

"Lucy being the princess?"

"Talk about a twist of fate"

"That bitch? She'll ruin everything"

"Nothing about her is princess material"

The more the people talked the more Lucy felt crushed... She clenched her fists and clenched her mouth hard, "you know what," the blonde smirked darkly to hide her emotions, "they're right. This is just some dumb luck. I'm not going to be playing a princess," she announced.

Levy looked worried at what she had done. Lucy was getting pummeled with insults. The bluenette tried to defend her but got a nasty glare from the blonde which told her to not help. The scarlet-haired women tried to calm down the students as Jellal walked up to the Danger Class. He pointed up a his index finger towards her that represented the number one. Number one for what? "You owe me one Heartfilia, remember?" he reminded.

She rose a brow in responds. What was he talking about?

Flashback (Chapter 3):

"What are you two up to?" yelled the Student Council President Jellal Fernandes.

"Dragneel, I can get you expelled this time you know? You already served several suspensions." Jellal threatened, "and Lucy, one more strike for you, and you get suspended."

Natsu's attention turned to Jellal, "and what exactly did I do wrong oh great and mighty Student Council President?" he asked sarcastically.

"You almost started another fight Dragneel," Jellal poorly explained.

"We're outside of school property," Natsu grinned to show victory.

Lucy just continued to watch in confusion. Jellal threatened her as well, but it looked like he was trying protecting her.

"But you breaking the Geometry teacher's window was in the school property last week, remember Dragneel?" Jellal was now the one to smirk.

Natsu's slightly flinched, "how the hell do you know that?"

"I was there the whole time when I had to give papers to the a teacher. Your buddy took the fall for you so you wouldn't get another suspension, but I could tell the principle right now and get you expelled...Unless you just walk home peacefully." the blue-haired male said.

Natsu took several minuets to think and finally gave in, "you win for today Fernandes, but I promise you I will get you back for this." With that Natsu left.

Jellal turned and stared at Lucy, "you owe me one," he blurt out.

"...What the fuck?" Lucy looked at him in disbelief.

"That threat was the only one I had on him, and I used it to save you so you owe me one," he said.

"I never asked for your help, and why would you waste that threat on me?" the blonde hissed.

"Having the Danger Class owe me one could be even more valuable them a threat to the king of royals," Jellal stated.

Lucy had to agree on that part and it seemed logical why he would protect her then, "fine I owe you one, but don't help me again. I hate owing people."

End of Flashback

He remembered all this time?! Lucy looked at him dumb-founded and twitched her eye. If only she could tell him that she was the one who helped him get Erza to be his girlfriends, she sighed and looked at him with no emotion, "fine, you win Fernandes. I'm just gonna lose this battle anyway."

Some of the students were about to argue, but Erza stopped the future riot. The Vice president thought of the idea of Lucy playing the lead... If she did then she and her would have to be friends for the play because of their roles... Erza didn't hate Lucy, but she didn't know how it could work.

"Tck, whatever. I'm not part of the show, so I could careless," the rosy-haired man said leaning back into his seat. His hands were behind his head which he used to support his head. His legs were crossed and on the desk carelessly.

"You're an understudy. You have to remember the Dragon's lines just in case Gray gets injured," Erza hissed at him.

Natsu got off his comfortable position and headed for the doors, "like Gray could ever get hurt," he rolled his eyes, "you may have gotten Danger Girl to do it but not me," he flung his hand as a sign of good-bye and disappeared into the halls.

Many of the girls were depressed that the rosy-haired jerk left, Erza reacted with a vain popping out and breaking a piece of thick wood for the props of the play, "Dragneel..." she muttered in anger. She was able to composed herself with the help of Jellal's help. The VP ignored Natsu for the time being and focused on the future play. The teacher, Levy, Erza, and Jellal started to pass out the scripts and give out orders to make the settings and understanding how to use the equipment.

Lucy snatched the script from Erza's hand and read it...

The play took in a world full of magic and possibilities.

Princess Lori was a beautiful and kind girl who always wished for others to be happy. As she was doing that, she had to pretend to be someone who she was not. She had to be the elegant and obedient princes. Lori wanted to be free from her tittle and live her life like normal people, but she did as everyone asked to satisfy them.

One day her parents king Aaron and queen Tori threw a ball for her which she discovered it was her engagement party to the prince of light Ethan. That was when she drew the line and decided to run away with the help of her best friend Emily and pet lion named Fang.

During the ball, Emily distracted everyone and Fang led her out and guided her to a safer place.

In the forest the two got separated and the princess ended up inside the Dragon's cave where the most wicked and evil creature was rumored to be at. When the dragon and princess meet, he was furious that a human dared to come into his domain and nearly killed her. The dragon was actually a human himself cast away from society because of his strange powers.

He chased her to a rocky steep hill where he fell. With the damage he gotten, he would have died, but the princess saved his life by healing him with some healing herbs she found. That was the first time the dragon felt kindness and decided in return for saving his life he would give her shelter and protect her. The dragon was an outcast and was hated by everyone, so he was confused when she treated him with such kindness while she was there. The two fell in love more with each other every time there eyes met. She gave him the name Blaze and he gave her his heart.

Back at the castle, Fang told Emily he lost her. The prince accused the dragon he had heard rumors about and decided to search for his betroth with his servant Flora and soldiers from the castle to help.

They discovered she was with the dragon which they believed she was held prisoner. The prince got out his lance and took an oath to the king and queen he would slay it and bring back the princess in one piece.

He went alone with only his lance, shield, and servant.

Fang ran off to find her before they did. The lion discovered the dragon was friendly and warned them what was about to come.

The princess was worried for the sake of the dragon and decided to give herself up before something that couldn't be undone would happen. The dragon knew of this and thought up his own plan. He knocked out the princess, so he could go battle the prince for her hand.

The princess was able to make it to see the dragon defeated by the prince's hands. She cried in agony and decided to never come back to the castle, but the prince forced her to come and was convinced the dragon somehow brainwashed her.

The princess was locked up in the tower to stop her from going back to the dragon, and the dragon wasn't died yet only injured with heavy attacks, but he still lives. Fang, Emily, and the prince's servant Flora heals him and help in order to save the princess. The dragon charges into the kingdom and castle to take her back.

He manages to succeed in gaining her back but dies from protecting her from one of the prince's stray attacks. It strikes him in the heart and the princess walks over to him and gives him a true loves kiss. The kiss saves his life and the kingdom recognizes him as a person equal to them. The two live happily ever after, for the prince and the servant. They fall in love with each other.

Happily ever after...

She read it over and over again...

Over and Over and Over...

"I have to fucking kiss the dragon?!" she yelled with pure embarrassment. She grabbed Levy's wrist and stormed out of the classroom with her in hand. Erza wanted to help but the loads of people asking her questions stopped her, "I can't do this," the blonde said trying to not let all the anger out.

Levy frowned and her head was set down, "I'm sorry for putting you into this mess Lu-chan. I didn't know you would get the lead," her hair blocked her brown eyes from making contact.

Lucy felt a wave of guilt flowing in her body seeing the bluenette so upset, "... I... I guess... I guess I could do it..." she gave in to her feelings. Darn her heart!

"Really?" the Bookworm muttered.

"... Yea..."

The bluenette smiled and hugged her best friend, "thanks so much! And besides, this isn't like it's your first kiss right?"

"..." the blonde didn't answer that question with red shaded all around her face.

Levy was shocked seeing that reaction, "you never had your first kiss?" she asked surprised. The blonde was so beautiful. She thought she would have kissed someone by now, "I'm so sorry Lu-chan, I'll rewrite my script so you won't have to kiss Gray," the Sky Class replied grabbing Lucy's hand as if it was a pact.

"Thanks Levy-chan, and I'll do my best on the script and play," the blonde promised with a shinning smile that could brighten any darkness. Lucy held her script tight and bit her lip with a large gulp.

She was going to be princess Lori...

Shit...

This was not going to end well...
