Sorry for taking so long to update on this story, I've really busy with my college work and I have been reading through in over the past couple days to get some more ideas for thenext chapter, so here you go.
Seth's Pov (Continued)
"Alright, it would be good not to have the other servants terrorizing me- oops." My gaze narrowed
"What do you mean Jono?"
"Nothing Seth- "I sighed
"Jono don't do that, if they are terrorizing you they need to be dealt with, they are not allowed to do that."
"Who's not allowed to do what?" Atem asked as he walked into the garden
"Papa!" Yugi cried and ran over to him, as Atem knelt down to greet him and gather him in his arms, before standing back up and walking over to us.
"Servant terrorizing other servants." Atem eyes narrowed, making Jono shrink into my side
"How did you find this out Seth?" he asked, scratching behind Yugi's ears, making him purr and settle in Atem's arms as he sat down with us
"The servants have been terrorizing Jono." Atem turned his gaze to Jono who shrink even more into my side
"Is this true Jono?" Atem asked Jono, who responded with a sigh and then a nod of the head "Very well, in two days' time you shall have your rightful place alongside Yugi."
"But I don't want that." Jono stated
"But it is the only thing that will keep you safe, Jono we don't want to lose you if something bad were to happen, and we don't want Yugi to lose his brother Jono please." Yami stated. Jono sighed
"That's a cheap shot Yami." Jono groaned
"But it got you to listen, and at least consider it." He glanced at me and sighed
"Alright, fine, two days right? Promise?" Jono asked Atem, who nodded
"Two days' time, you'll be officially crowned alongside Yugi, both of you accepted into the royal family." Atem stated, Jono nodded
"Jono be like me? He be a p'ince too?" Yugi asked, perking up, listening to the conversation
"Yeah Yugi, I'll be a Prince too, just like you." Jono replied, making Yugi smile and jump over to him and throw his arms around his neck
"We be poper family 'gain?" Yugi asked
"Yeah Yugi, we'll be a proper family again." Jono replied
"Yay." Yugi said snuggling into Jono's neck.
-Two Days Later-
Atem's Pov
Two days later the whole palace was a hectic place to be walking through, guards, servants and slaves alike all rushing around preparing for the impending guests arrived and for two royal Crowning's as well.
I was in the throne room directing where things were going, ordering the servants to get the decorations up in the correct places
"This should have been done yesterday." I growled
"Papa sound like animal." I heard Yugi say, I glanced over and saw Akefia was holding him, walking over to me, I sighed
"You sound tired." Akefia commented, I groaned
"This should have all been done yesterday and I don't know why it wasn't, now everyone is rushing around trying to get it done right but is getting it wrong, and I keep yelling at them, I am tired and the ceremony is in three hours, and I'm not even ready yet." He chuckled "And I don't even know where Seth is."
"Seth is organising the guards for when the guests start to arrive in two hours, Marik and Malik are overseeing the food organisation, Bakura and Ryou are keeping watch on the ballroom making sure the decorations go up right, and Yami is getting yours and Yugi's outfits ready for when you get back to get ready, then he is going to help Jono get ready, everything will go fine don't you worry." Akefia explained and I sighed in relief
"I'm glad everyone is organised."
"I don't think anyone of them wants this day to go wrong for their nephew, they want to make sure everything goes perfect for him and Jono by default." Akefia chuckled
"Jono no default." Yugi complained, I chuckled
"Sorry Yugi, you're right he isn't a default." Akefia responded, I chuckled again
"My Pharaoh, we've finished the placements." A Male servant said kneeling in front of me, I glanced around and saw they had set everything out how I wanted it, I opened my mouth to responded when I heard Yugi say
"Why you kneel?" I looked over to Yugi and Akefia
"What do you mean Yugi?" he looked at me
"Why they kneel?" Yugi asked again
"Why do they kneel on the floor?" Akefia asked, Yugi nodded
"Yeah, why they kneel?"
"Because it's a sign of respect, they kneel to show they respect us." He looked at me curiously
"Why?"
"Why what Yugi?"
"Why they, re… res… respect us?"
"May I my Pharaoh?" the servant asked, I glanced down at him, who was looking up at me, I nodded
"Go ahead." He nodded
"We kneel before the royal family to show respect, young Prince." The servant stated
"But why you re…res…respect us?"
"Because the royal family protects us, they look after us, we want to work for the royal family because they care about what we do, if we're hurt, or if we are sick and are in need of care, they look after us or make sure we are cared for and we return that kindness with respect."
"Take care of you, like papa take care of me?" Yugi asked, and the servant smiled
"Yes young Prince."
"What you name?" the servant looked startled at the question
"You want to know my name?" The servant asked, Yugi nodded, the servant glanced at me and I nodded "My name is Eric, young Prince."
"You be my friend?" Yugi asked, I smiled, and so did Akefia especially when Eric nodded
"If you want me to be your friend young Prince." Eric responded, Yugi grinned and nodded making Eric smile as well.
