Last time, Naruto had awaken within his bed as he rises with the morning sun. However, he woke up with an unexpected guest… namely a beautiful buxom redhead woman, Rias Gremory. After having an awkward morning, Naruto continued his school for the day where he later went to O. R. C. where he found out from Rias that he's a devil.

Late afternoon

Naruto was walking down the streets with his backpack on one of his shoulders. As he calmly moved around the town, he spotted several people where he made a bit of small talk that allowed him to give them each a piece of paper. To a normal person, the piece of paper would be nothing more than a simple cool design, but to being like Naruto it was something completely different. The piece of paper was a summoning pentagram, for people to summon devils.

It's been a few days since Naruto has become a devil, under Rias's peerage. As he continued on with his assignment that Rias has given him, the blond teenager remembered on what she discuss to both him and Issei.

Flashback

"We are devils." Rias simply stated

Issei looked disbelief which was normal for him, yet for Naruto he knows on what the number one beauty of Kuoh said is true. Somewhere in his mind, he believed on what Rias was going to say.

Rias explained to the two of them about, who are Angels? Fallen Angels? The three-way standoff that has been going on for centuries now. As she continued to explained, Naruto's mind can't help but look glazed since for some reason he felt like he knew this already where he the words Sacred Gear and familiarity for some reason when the words, Angel, Devil, and Fallen Angel.

The discussion changed after Rias told Issei on who his girlfriend was to why he was killed. It was here that Issei's desire to die in the arms of a beautiful woman called Rias over, thanks to the summoning pentagram that he held in his pocket from earlier that she came to him. Rias stated that the perverted brunette was killed because of his sacred gear, a special 'artifact' that was inside his body.

Getting him to draw it out, Issei summoned a red, fingerless, armored bracer with yellow accents and a green jewel on top of the palm area. The young brunette boy looked amazed on what he summoned on his left arm while Rias looked intrigued about it. As the others wondered on what kind of abilities that Issei's sacred gear would put out, Naruto felt like he has seen this item before.

The club president turned her attention to her peerage's perverted brunette since it was his sacred gear that gotten him killed as she stated it for them.

"Wait… your saying that I was killed because of this?" Issei question.

"Yes,,, remember on what I told you about getting request by humans for a price. Well, it so happens that you met with one of our familiars that was passing out the forms. In you dying moment, your wish was wanting to at least die in the arms of a beautiful girl. Unfortunately, Naruto was nearby where he got himself killed by trying to save you. When I was summoned after the two of you have died, I discovered that Issei possessed a Sacred Gear while Naruto was pouring out a strange aura. I don't know what it was but I was able to sense a power growing out of you which I can only assume was his Sacred Gear. I decided to save both of your lives which you two were reborn as devils. You've become underlings of Rias Gremory, your master. Now, let's introduce ourselves." Rias explained as her bat wings formed behind her. The rest of the club members introduce themselves properly as well as they revealed their bat wings to the two newbies.

The attention that the two new devils were getting stopped when Naruto spoke up, "Um… Rias… you said you revived Issei because of his sacred gear, right. Then out of curiosity, why did you revived me. Is it because I also have a sacred gear? Was that also the reason why you became my friend?" Naruto asked with a bit of mad tone.

Rias gently smiled, but had a bit of guilt in her eyes as she summoned her new servant, "… actually, I sort of wanted you to join my peerage even without you having a sacred gear." She admittedly. Rias explained since she first met him that she was intrigued by his presence since she felt something special about him. She became honest with him and explained that Naruto has some abilities since he negated several of her magical attempts on him without him even noticing it.

"Even though I was interested in your power. Please know that our friendship is real, Naruto-kun…" Rias gracefully smiled at her newest blond peerage member as she honestly told him the truth.

Naruto sigh in annoyance since on one hand, he can tell that Rias was being honest while on the other, she first got close to him because of his powers.

Rias saw him act a little depress which she can understand but decided to continue on. "Alright… now since we know on what Issei's sacred gear is, why don't we see on what you got? Just like Issei, draw out your sacred gear." Rias said where Naruto agreed

Wanting to focus on something else, Naruto did what Rias asked him where he went to the center end of the room. He breathed normally before he performed several Kung Fu moves around him where he then converge his hands at the center of his body. Holding his open right hand above his open left, he breathed easily as he focuses within himself.

It only took a moment where he a sudden light appeared in front of him. The light slowly formed into a glowing ball before it started to reform again. The light extended vertically while its sides thin out. It took a few more seconds before the light dissipated where it revealed a sword.

It was broadsword that looked like it comes from the middle ages. It had a blue handle as the top half has gold design between the handle and steel.

Seeing the light through his eyelids, he opened his eyes to see the sword in front of him. He firmly picked it up with both hands which he admitted to himself that it was very light. He showed how light his sword is by holding it up with just one hand.

Rias and the others were amazed on what Naruto's Sacred Gear was since they can see that the sword is special, although wondered on what type of sword it is.

End Flashback

His thoughts about what he learned turned to from what he learned to what he has to do. Currently, he learned from Rias that devil ranking system where he was only a low-level devil. With that, he learned ways on how to increase his ranking higher by completing a few types of tasks.

He chuckled sheepishly at Issei's reaction on how he'll become a Harem king while he has yet to figure out on what he wants to do yet. Although, as a human, he wanted to follow his father's footprints in research and development since his family's business is about achieving better technology by the use of less waste, more on eco-friendly; such as changing carbon dioxide into a new form of plastic and such. So far, his family were able to create a new type of fuel that won't do too much damage to the environment and motor engine that runs 75 miles per gallon which showed promise results for Asian, European, and U.S. military. Finishing his handouts, he decided to go back to the O.R.C. room and rest.

O.R.C.

Walking into the room, he saw Issei standing on top of the magical diagram on the floor where he was then covered in light. Seeing eager look on his face the brunette tried to use the diagram to teleport, only for the boy to still be standing in front of everyone there.

Issei look confused where Rias walked up to him with a sigh tone in her voice while placing a hand on her forehead, "In order to make the jump through the magical diagram, you must reach a set level of power. You level of magic must be too low, so the diagram isn't activating at all."

Even with this, Rias ordered Issei to travel by foot and answer the summoner's call. It was really surprising where Issei cried in disbelief as he went to do his first contract. Once he left, Rias notice Naruto standing near the entrance where she greeted him.

"Um… hi everyone…" the blond teenager greeted back where the rest of the club members did the same.

"Um… what was Issei trying to do just now?" Naruto asked

Rias explained that Issei has completed his contract handouts where he left to complete his first contract. At first, they engraved the insignia of the Gremory where he would have teleport using that same insignia but failed, now he has to go on foot/bike to his summoner.

"Oh~ ok… so that explains why he cry in frustration since he has to travel by foot since I was here to see him not teleporting." Naruto said

"Yes… it's actually quite a first but I guess it's not his fault since he hasn't yet done any magic training." Rias stated

Nodding in understanding, he asked Rias on when he'll begin his contract dealings. Rias thought about it for a moment and decided that it was good time to see what her other new piece could do.

"Akeno… prepare another engraving spell. Let's give Naruto his insignia so he can start doing his contracts as well." Rias ordered where Akeno obliged.

After completing the ceremony, Rias took Naruto's left hand and engrave the Gremory symbol on him where she explained on what the symbol could be used, such as gather magic and other things. Once completed, Naruto had someone who wanted to summon him where he did what Rias said which the same as Issei was.

As he focus on the magical diagram, he couldn't help but feel that this was familiar to him. He unleashed his magical power where Naruto was quickly teleported to the person calling him.

Seeing Naruto teleport, Rias smiled since her new servant has some magical power in him already.

"Buchou…" getting Rias attention

"I know that you used that piece to resurrect him… I'm curious to know on what kind of powers he has?" the raven hair beauty asked

"I don't know… I have sent word to Onii-sama about me using the piece… but have yet received any information about it. I'm guessing Beelzebub-sama must be trying to find the records on his very first piece since it was created before the Evil Piece system." Rias stated

Akeno nodded while Kiba and Koneko wondered on what they were talking about which Akeno explained to them about the special evil piece that Rias used.

Namikaze home

Naruto walked into his mansion home as he went to get a small bite to eat before heading towards bed. While eating his small meal (basic ham sandwich), he thought about his training regimen. He figured that he'll have to do all his practicing in the morning while in the afternoon well be for his devil duties.

As he went to get ready for bed, he thought about his first contract he made tonight. The contract was simple yet kind of awkward.

The contract involved a young woman with tense shoulders which she requested some dinner be made along with a shoulder/back massage. Naruto agreed where he made a nice meal of fish and rice along with some vegies from what he can find in her refrigerator. As he made the dinner, his summoner took a nice shower before coming out with only a towel wrapped around her body. She laid on the coffee table as she asked him to massage her which she'll eat dinner a bit later. Naruto agreed, although had a tough time in responding quickly, given on what kind of body his summoner has (B: 92 cm, W: 59 cm, H: 87 cm). Getting over his nervousness, he gave her the massage. Finishing the request and getting paid for it, he went back home where he'll give Rias his completed contract tomorrow morning.

Getting to his bed, already brush his teeth and changing his clothing, he laid down where he then let sleep take over him while his alarm cell alarm will wake him up.

Morning

With his cellphone alarm beeping, Naruto was force to wake up where he made a big yawn. Leaning up right, he felt a weight on his left arm again. He looked back down on his bed to see a familiar red hair underneath his sheets. He, of course, pulled the sheets away to reveal once again a very naked Rias.

Taking a moment to register this, he turned his face away since he didn't want to be tempted on doing anything that he shouldn't. Naruto gently got out of bed, freshen up and get breakfast ready.

Normally, he would put on his training gear or his musical instrument where he'll just take his academy clothes, an energy bar, a simple lunch, and school supplies where he'll go to school. But since Rias was here, he'll skip it since he needed to be a proper host.

Getting dress and everything, he was busy making breakfast which was simple toast, egg whites, and sausage with orange juice. Finishing setting the table and everything, he heard someone walking towards him. He turned to see Rias, fully awake and dress, with a smile on her face.

"Good morning…" Rias greeted

"Morning…" Naruto responded

"I see you made breakfast for two. Is one for me?" Rias happily asked

"No…" getting Rias to frown, "… this is for the redheaded girl that slept next to me this morning…" Naruto stated where Rias blinked a few times before she got the small and unfunny joke.

"Haha~ very funny." Rias responded as she took her seat next to him.

As they started to eat, Naruto was the one to break the pleasant silence.

"Rias…" getting his redheaded master's attention, "… when? Or to be more precise, why did you sleep with me in my bed last night?" asked the curious blond

"Your bed is really comfortable for some reason so I came here after you have fallen asleep… I was able to sleep like a baby." Rias answered where Naruto looked sheepishly at her.

Finishing breakfast, they both left together to school on Naruto's motorcycle. Just as they were about to leave, Naruto felt someone was watching him. He looked around where Rias saw his confusion.

"Is something wrong, Naruto-kun?" asking the blond boy she held tightly on his back

Having one last look, he just shrugged it off, "Nah, just felt like someone was staring at me." He replied before getting his bike to run.

After School

Walking into the clubroom, he heard Rias shouting at Issei about not going to the church and exorcisms.

"A devil being hit by a divine holy power like that will be completely destroyed with no hope of returning. This is something very important! Do you understand?" Rias seriously stated

Issei nodded in understanding while Rias apologize for being really serious/harsh in her tone. It was then that Akeno walked up to the two where she explained that they were given an order. The order to take down a rogue devil.

Late night

Rias and the entire O.R.C were standing in front of an old, rundown building. As they got near, Naruto can smell the stench of blood. As they all enter the building, Rias began to explain about evil piece system, based on chess game, Rating Games, and such to both Issei and Naruto, who wasn't really paying much attention to her since his mind was on something else.

As they walked around, looking for their attended target, Naruto saw that the halls changed in front of him where instead of sleek or flat wood surface, he was seeing strange misshapen wooden walls and such. Moving further in his vision changed back to the current perimeter of being inside an old abandoned building. Shaking his head a bit, his senses were tingling as he can feel where the bloodlust in the building was coming from.

Moving towards the direction, away from the other members, Naruto moving further into the building where he stop as he felt everyone else running towards him since it is dangerous to move alone in such a place.

"Naruto-kun, you shouldn't move by yourself since you're still new to this." Rias stated

"It's alright, I know what I'm doing. Besides, I don't know how but I can tell where the rogue devil is located." Naruto narrowed his eyes as he moved a bit faster before stopping in front of a double door entrance.

Pushing the doors open, Naruto out of instinct summoned his steel sword and placing behind him where it stick onto his back, "It's here…" he stated where the feeling of bloodlust was the most tense.

As everyone saw Naruto unnervingly moved into the darkness, Rias had a calculating look on her face since she can see that Naruto was acting more professional, like he has done this before or something, not to mention on how he sensed where the rogue devil was located. It was only a moment or two before they heard a creep, vile tone coming out of the shadows.

"What a delicious scent-"

Naruto looked at a certain part of the shadows as he had his gaze on the rogue devil where he pointed it out to everyone. Rias moved forward as she declared her attention to the devil at presents.

"Rogue devil Visor, we're here to destroy you!" with confidents in her tone

The next thing that happen was the corpse of a young woman, whose lower half was gone while the rest of her body showed slashes, being thrown at them. Issei was stunned at seeing the woman's body but his moment ended when he heard a dark vile voice coming out of the shadows.

In front of them was a demonic woman whose lower half was that of a chimera. She was holding two spears in both hands as she declared that she was going to kill them all. The demonic woman tried to kill them but the teamwork that each of Rias current peerage showed remarkable skills along with the traits that each of them represent in the Evil Piece system, Kiba the knight, Koneko the rook, Akeno the queen. Of course, Naruto was a bit hesitant while Issei was freaked out at seeing on what Akeno does.

"It feels like Akeno-san is even more fearsome!" Issei shouted as he shivered from seeing Akeno's thunder attack. Rias explained that Akeno was the ultimate sadist. When it was over, Rias delivered the final blow.

"Dust to dust… Visor…" Rias stated as her aura created a dark crimson orb of power that hit Visor and turn her into nothing.

As Issei looked amazed at seeing them fight, Naruto who stayed back and paid attention as the others fought against the weak monster couldn't help but feel as Rias attack, or to be more precise her power, was familiar to him like he has seen it before. Seeing her attack on Visor brought up something in his mind where he muttered to himself.

"Power of Destruction…" where at that moment Rias imaged changed to another redhead, whose hair was shoulder length while wearing some battle clothes. He only saw the persons smile as it turned to see him. It was then that another word came into mind when seeing this person.

"Idiot…" thought to himself with a deadpanned look while making the person going depress before the image changed back to Rias and everyone else in her peerage.

He shook his head before hearing Rias saying that they can leave now. He saw Issei walk up to Rias where he shyly look at her as he asked her something.

"Um… by the way buchou…"

"Hmm, what is it?" Rias asked

"We were interrupted earlier. What is my role in your peerage?" Issei asked his king

"Hmm? Ah, Issei's role is pawn." Rias simple stated where Issei figured he got the lowest rank.

It was here that Naruto's curiosity peak since even though he didn't care, he was just as curious on knowing his role in her peerage.

"What about me?" Naruto asked as she called back his sacred gear into his body.

Rias had a thoughtful look as she answered Naruto's question, "That's an interesting question since I have no idea." Where both blond and brunette newbies looked at her awkwardly. Rias explained to Naruto that she used a special piece, the same explanation that she had with Akeno earlier.

"So, until I get word back from the underworld, you're labeled as a mystery piece." Where Naruto nodded in understanding.

I know that I'm following the canon script, but it needs to be. Thing will increase more when the final act of the Riser arc. Only when the Excalibur arc ends that Naruto will regain most of his memories as the Blue Knight.
