"Nevermore, doesn't that sound familiar?" Sam whispers in my ear while the other nations ponder about themselves. Except for England, who's starting to rouse suspicion deep down inside me. I don't pay that much attention about it, but I make a mental note to keep an eye on him; just in case.

"Yeah, it does." I look at the frail Japanese man who's shaking and staring somewhere into the distance. I hear Sam begin to move towards him, but I put my hand on his chest to stop him. "What if he's dangerous?"

"And what if he isn't?" Sam takes my hand off of him and continues to push past the crowd to get to Japan. Well, he doesn't really need to push because the nations just move out of the way for him. He kneels down in front of Japan and looks him right in the eyes. "Japan, what do you mean by, 'Nevermore?'" Japan doesn't answer. Instead, he averts his eyes from Sam's and stares off into the distance. Seeing him like this makes him seem so out of character. And I don't even know the man!

"Japan, please answer!" Italy pleads. He continues to stare, and starts to breathe even faster than before.

"Yo, Japan? Still with us?" America pipes up from behind.

"He was never with us to begin with." Someone else says. I think it's Russia?

"No one asked you commie!" He snaps back.

"Hm, I think it's time to put my pipe in your face, da?"

"You wanna go?" Japan clenches his hair and squeezes his eyes shut, going insane from all the noise probably.

"Now's not the time for Cold War 2 you guys, aru!" China, who's sitting right next to Sam, barks at them. America's about to say something when Japan stands up abrubtly, yelling at the top of his lungs. I wince at the noise and cover my ears until hes completely done screaming, but by the time release my hands from my ears, Japan's halfway across the room.

"Nevermore! Nevermore! Get out nevermore!" He opens the door and sprints down the hall, running to something. Or away; either one can't be good.

"Japan!" China stands, ready to chase after him when Germany and I stop him.

"Don't, we'll find him." Sam says and turns to the others in the room. "We need to form into groups of about two, and fast. We don't want Japan to get to far out of our sights." Every country stares at him like he's talking in some foreign language... that none of them speak, because one of them would have to speak the langua- you know what, forget it.

"Spain and Romano," They stop what they're doing to look at me. "You will be searching the two top-most floors."

"Italy and Germany, you're a group." Sam tells them

"We'll search the next two floors." Germany comfirms "In fact, if there's thirty-nine floors to this building then we'll all search two floors. Except there will still be two floors left."

"I'll search four flours with whoever is coming with me." Sam offers.

"Okay, now, America and England you are a group." I say.

"Great." England rolls his eyes.

"Sweden and Finland, you're together." Finland looks at Sweden worriedly at my suggestion. "Austria and Hungary, China and Russia-"

"Dean and France." I turn to Sam with anger and shock in my eyes. He just smirks then looks around the room. "There's...no one left."

"What about me?" A voice from the corner of the room says. Every head turns in its direction to see who it belongs to. All there is is a small polar bear.

"Holy crap, did that bear just talk?" I say, obviously astonished. I'm about to shoot the thing when I there is a man, similar to America, holding the bear in his arms.

"Who are you?" Sam asks. The man with the curl lets out an exasperated sigh and answers.

"I'm Canada." Sam looks to me, mouthing the word 'oh' slowly.

"Well than... Canada, you're coming with me to search the bottom four floors." Sam smiles while Canada simply nods, clutching his pet polar bear slightly tighter.

"Alright then, let's head out!" Germany orders and imediatly Italy scurries out the door. "Wait! Italy!" Germany follows behind, almost slipping on the polished floor. France is now standing by my side, ready to go. I sigh. Sam just had to put me with the one who creeps me out the most.

"Let's go, but let's set one thing straight," I point my finger at him, causing him to wipe the smile of his face and raise an eyebrow.

"Oh? And what might that be?"

"No winking at me, it's creepy." He chuckles and agrees.

"I swear I'll kill whoever did this to my brother, and I'll make sure it's a slow and painful way to go, aru." China threatens.

"Done?" I ask, ready to search already. He nods firmly. "Great, now let's go."

As we all leave the room, no one notices the British man hang his head in shame.

~.~.~.~.~.~.~

It's dark on the fifth floor since there's no more sun to shine through the large windows the United Nations building provides. Well, there's the lights from New Yourk City, but that's hardly anything.

"Couldn't you guys at least get an electrition in here to fix the lights?" I complain.

"They were working last night." France tells me from behind. I'll admit, having him behind me makes me worried, but I'm more worried with what I have to look for. Demon, yeah, but they could be possessing anyone in this blasted building.

Even France...

With one swift move, I bring out the holy water, unscrew the cap, and splash a little on his face. The nation recoils, but it's from surprise.

"Quel a été que, pour?" He asks.

"English please?"

"I said, what was that for?" He questions in his french accent.

"I was just making sure you weren't possessed." I say with a shrug of my shoulders. He just looks at me like I'm nuts. "Don't look at me like that, you should know. I mean come on! You executed a freaking cow for thinking it was perfuorming witchcraft. A cow!" I argue, making sure I keep my voice down. He lets in a gasp and puts a scowl on his face.

"Don't start on that! I was stupid back then!"

"Fine, fine, whatever." We slink down the hallway carefully, eyes searching every inch of the floor. We even look in rooms to make sure Japan isn't hiding in one of them.

Then, when I open one of the doors- France right by my side- I can faintly make out a figure moving around the room. France sees him too because he yelps slightly. I smack my hand on his mouth when I see a pair of red eyes begin to drift in our direction. I push him against the wall with my hand still glued to his mouth and make sure we stay clear from it's view.

"Be. Quiet." I hiss loud enough for him to hear. I search my coat for something to draw a demon's trap with, but realize Sam has out only chalk piece. "Damn it! Excuse my French." The nation looks at me with a confused face, then I remember it's France that I'm with. "Forget it."

Instead of chalk, I find my gun in one of my coat pockets and pull it out; ready to use it. I motion for France to follow and we go in the room cautiously. But, right when we enter a pair of bright red eyes show in front of me. It startles me so much that I forget I have bullets in my gun. I hit it in the forehead with the butt of my pistol and it goes stumbling backward, holding its head.

"Dude, not awesome!"

Yay! End of the chapter :D lol The whole thing with the cow performing witchcraft is just from something I remember seeing, so I don't know if it's true or not XD

Didn't read over this for mistakes, therefor please tell me if there are any so that I may fix them tomorrow after school :)
