A/N: Dat chapter title. (Internet cookie to who gets the title reference.)

*clears throat* Now then, some of you are probably wondering what they did to anger Grovyle. That's for me to know, and for you to find out. I actually started a poll for that. What do you guys think they did?
Deciding to make some tension. Got the idea for this arc thanks to one of the Guests. I must thank you for this idea. This arc will... Feature a different peacekeeper group."

And I don't own Smash Bros. And I never will.

Oh, and... Who loves time skips? I do. Cause, I made one. I know that it's a bad thing, but it's not that long of a time skip, and nothing important happens. It'll be explained, though...

-Few Days Later-
-Month 2: Day 25 Ends, Month 2: Day 26 Begins-

"Hey Meta Knight, why do you look do depressed?" Yoshi asked.

"I think he misses his body guard." Wolf quipped.

"...No." Meta Knight replied. "I'm just tired. I don't know why."
He turned to his right. "...Pikachu?"

"...Tired." He simply stated. "And sleepy. I miss Vivian and Galacta Knight. And Grovyle. Oh, and Wolf?"

"Mm?"

"They told me that Amaterasu was supposed to join."

"SHE WHAT?!" Wolf jumped out of his seat, startling everyone in the dining room. He mumbled an apology before sitting back down. "Dang it. But really, you look like crap."

"...Sorry." Pikachu said. In fact, in sounded more like a whimper.

"Are you sick again?" Yoshi asked.

"I-I hope not." The blonde remarked. "I don't wanna be sick."

Meta Knight gingerly pressed a palm against his forehead. "Perhaps you are just tired."

"Yeah." Pikachu groaned. "And you?"

"...Fine, I guess." Meta Knight replied. "I suppose after all the hell we've been through we just want things to end."

"But we're having fun, right?" Yoshi remarked. "Even though there was a distinct lack in chaos..."

"Isn't that a good thing?" Wolf pointed out.

"Five days without hell was rather nice." The Star Warrior stated.

Pikachu simply let out a groan, shifting in his sit. Yoshi blinked, confused. He lightly poked the blonde.

Only for his hand to be forcefully grabbed and twisted. He yelped, and the limb was released.

"Pikachu. Do you really miss them?" Wolf asked.

"Yeah..." Pikachu said. He faced them, hair a mess. "You guys are my only friends. Lucario doesn't even want to hang out with me."
He sat straight up. "And I don't know what to do. I want chaos but at the same time I don't."

"Five days without chaos sure does crazy things to your brain." Wolf muttered.

Yoshi nodded, still cradling his arm. "Y-Yeah."

Meta Knight sighed. "Are you three just going to complain?"

They nodded. He exhaled.

"Dang." He smoothed out his hair. "Y-You know, we could use this time to get along."

Pikachu perked up. "...You got a point there, Mety."

"...Do not call me that." The Star Warrior hissed.

Yoshi tilted his head. "...What does this word mean?"

Wolf, who was taking a nap, opened an eye. "What word?"

The green head pointed to his book, finger laying on letters. Wolf inched close, curiously looking at the word.

"...Why are you reading this, anyway? Isn't this book some horribly written sm-"

"I got bored."

"...Fair enough... Hey, have Meta Knight read it." Wolf was snickering.

Yoshi sighed, placing the book down... And destroying it.

"It's horrible. I... Don't want to torture him." He stated.

Meta Knight blinked. "...Wh-What... What were you reading?"

"Don't ask." Yoshi snapped, frowning.

"Alright...?" The blue haired knight replied, feeling odd. "I... I think something is wrong is Pikachu."

Wolf blinked. "What makes you say that?"
He turned his gaze to the blonde, and received his answer. The blonde looked bored, tired, and sad.

"...What about Yoshi? He looks bad." Wolf pointed out. He did have a point. The green head's attitude was different. He wasn't joyful and joking around. "He's acting like a shrub. A dead, lifeless shrub in the middle of a joyous forest."

"...Really?" Meta Knight cocked an eyebrow.

"Zip it." Wolf hissed. "Insulting my linguistics isn't going to help those two."

Meta Knight exhaled. "Y-You have a point, my friend."
He waved a hand in front of the blonde's face, but had no reply. He did the same thing to Yoshi, and got a response. Albeit, it was a negative, but he got one.

"...I'm afraid that they don't want to talk to us." Meta Knight said, softly and concerned.

Wolf sighed. "S-Should we just leave them?"

"I-I... I s-suppose so."

"Do you think they'll, you know...? Return to their usual self?" Wolf asked, standing up.

Meta Knight bit his lip. He sighed. "Well, they went through worse, so... I guess they will."

-Month 2: Day 26 Ends, Month 2: Day 27 Begins-

"They're still not talking, Meta Knight...They're not coming out of their rooms." Wolf muttered. "And I'm not sure whether that's good or bad."

Meta Knight frowned beneath his mask. "I-It's bad... Wolf."
He coughed. "V-Very bad."
Another cough. A sneeze followed.

"...U-Uh... You okay, dude?" Wolf asked before going into a coughing fit.

Apparently, someone must have heard since...

"Are you two okay?" Ike asked. "You don't look... well... Outside..."

"A-And inside." Wolf retorted, sneezing afterword.

"Are... Are you two... Sick?" Ike tilted his head. "What did the five days without chaos affect you or something?"

"N-Not... E-entirely sure..." Meta Knight groaned, wobbling as he tried to stand up, only to fall down on his side, heavily breathing.

"O-Oh crap...!" Ike rushed to the Star Warrior's side, lightly shaking him. "H-Hey! Y-You okay? M-Meta Knight?!"

A thump noise caused him to flinch. He whipped his around, seeing a collapsed Wolf.

"...Oh damn..." He muttered.

Ike gingerly placed his hand over Yoshi's forehead. Yup. Warm. Very warm.

"...D-Damn. Meta Knight, Pikachu, and Wolf have temperatures. So does Yoshi." He groaned. Ike paced around the room. "Oh man, I hope it's not bad... I-I gotta tell the Ancient Minister."

He bolted out the room, concern in his eyes. He slammed the door open, panting, causing the minister to jump slightly.

"...WHAT?"

"W-We have a huge problem. Pikachu and his gang, you know, the main dudes...? Th-They're sick. Incredibly sick. Th-They don't seem to notice my presence and their foreheads are burning." Ike explained, shaking.

"OH DEAR." The Ancient Minster exhaled. "I... I WILL CHECK UP ON THEM. WAIT HERE."

Ike nodded. He patiently waited, pacing around. He prayed for positive results when the Ancient Minister returned. Needless to say, the results were not positive. Ike felt concern, fear, and anger as the Ancient Minister explained the situation. He then relaxed, hearing some good things within the explanation. He nodded, hearing some orders.

"Alright. I got it. I know what to do."

"GOOD. REMEMBER EVERYTHING I TOLD YOU."

"So... Yeah. They're sick." Ike explained. "And we need to get stuff for a remedy. Cause apparently their illness is out of this world."

"...And you're telling us this because?" Falco asked.

"The Ancient Min-" Ike started.

"I SAID YOU, PIT, NESS, AND TOON LINK."

Ike yelped. "E-Eh... I... I, um... I'll go get them now."

"GOOD."

The knight ran off, leaving a confused Kirby, Falco, Lucario, and Bowser.

"Alright! Pit, Ness, Toon Link! Let's go! We got until the end of this month to save four smashers." Ike announced. "Let's go!"

"...What smashers?" Toon Link asked, curious.

"Pikachu, Meta Knight, Wolf, and Yoshi." Ike replied. "Now, chop, chop!"

"Wh-What happens if we fail?" Ness gulped.

"...I..." Ike bit his lip. He looked at the angel. Pit shared the same concerned expression, as if he already knew the answer, and, he, too, didn't wish to speak of it.

Ike let out a sigh. "L-Let's just say that... They'll... H-Have to say goodbye."

A/N: Yes. I'm going there. Our four peacekeepers are on their deathbeds. I'm putting the non-transformed Smashers in the spotlight for this.
