A/N: I still don't own Super Smash Bros. I only own my life.

"Damn it, damn it, damn it!" Ike hissed. He paced around the living room, as other smashers around him were freaking out, or trying to calm down the bemused. "Alright... I-I have an idea about how to keep them alive. Keep them hanging on until the group comes back with the last ingredient."

Pit gulped. "Of c-course!"
He nodded frantically. "I-I'll tell the others!"

Ike patted the angel's back before the latter ran off. He then turned to Ness and Toon Link.

"Okay. I need you two to keep an eye on our sick friends." He said as gently as possible. "You have to make sure they try not to move, make sure that they don't get worse."

They nodded quietly, and went to do their job.

Meanwhile, Ike went to contact the other gang. He tapped his foot impatiently, waiting for a response. He let out a groan he finally got one.

"Where the hell are you guys?!" He hissed.

"On our way, damn it!" Dedede replied. "Trying to arrive as fast as we can!"

"J-Just calm down!" Fox continued.

"Oh sure... Four of our friends could die! How does one calm down?!" Falco snapped.

There was a rumbling sound. "Oh for fuck's sake!"

Ike rubbed his temples. "Dear lord... J-Just get here!"

He stomped off to the Ancient Minister's room.

"We're running out of time!" He hissed.

"I KNOW, I KNOW." The Ancient Minister replied, annoyance and concern in his voice. "NOW THEN... I AM PUTTING YOU IN CHARGE. I AM GOING TO FIND THEM. CALL ME ONLY FOR EMERGENCIES. GOT IT?!"

Ike nodded. "Alright sir."

He flew out the room quickly, ready to command the other smashers. Everyone was in a state of pure of panic and fear. Makes sense, considering their current situation. If you were them, you would most likely be doing the same thing. Panicking.

And man, were they panicking. Everyone was in a complete, incoherent mess. There appeared to be no possible way to calm them down. Ike bit his lip. He took a few breaths before...

"EVERYONE QUIET!"

And thus, it happened. People spoke in hushed voices.

Ike gulped. "I-I know we're in a very troubling time... But we have to work together on this! Alright?" Everyone nodded. "Good. Now... All those with medical knowledge work on the medicine and checking up on our ill friends. We also need smashers to keep communicating with those getting the last ingredient for the remedy. Everyone got it?"

"Yes!"

"Good!"

Everyone set off due do their well-suited jobs. Ike let out a sigh of relief.

Oh man...

The conditions became worse. Much worse. They looked barely alive. Ike was close to breaking down.

"H-Hey. Dude. Don't go crazy on us." A voice rasped. "Even if we die."

Ike nearly yelped, before realizing it was the ill smasher he was checking up on... Despite giving the job to other smashers.

"W-Wolf. Look, we're going to help you." Ike managed to choke out. Great. First Pikachu, now him. "S-So don't start saying that you're going to die!"

Wolf weakly chuckled. "Ah... S-Sorry."

Great. Nice job breaking it. Ike cursed to himself. He sighed.

"I-It's okay... J-Just... R-Relax, bud." He muttered before leaving.

He slid against the door he closed, shaking, near tears. "Wh-Why... Why, why, why?! Why them?! They've been solving most the crappy problems, so why did this happen to them?!"
He buried his head in his palm, his scream muffled.

"Ike?"

Said smasher flinched. "Ness...?"

"T-They're going to be okay. D-Don't worry." The boy said, weakly smiling. "D-Don't... Cry."

Ike blinked, and returned the smile. "Heh. You're cool, you know that, Ness?"
He patted the boy's head. "Thanks, by the way. I-I needed that."

"N-No problem. C-Come on. L-Let's meet with the others."

"Right..."

"For now, they're alright." Pit said, looking just as shaken as Ike.

"Wh-Which is good." Toon Link added. "And the people with that water thing... Th-They're very close."

Ike nodded. "Good. Whew. I can rela-"

"We have a problem!" Jigglypuff cried.

"...Wh-wha..."

"T-They're... not responding... at all?" Ness whimpered.

Zelda nodded. "W-We don't know... What to do. We've tried everything. A-And nothing worked."

"They look really pale, and they're shivering." Peach added. "And... The last day... I-It's coming."

Ike growled. "Shit, shit, shit! What are we-"

"WE'RE HERE!"

Everyone froze, seeing Fox, Falco, and Dedede.

"W-Where's the remedy...?" Falco said, panting, holding a container.

Ike immediately grabbed it, running off, Pit, Ness, and Toon Link following. The ones in charge of the remedy took it, and started to make said antidote. Now... all they had to do...

Was wait.

-Month 2: Day 30 Ends, Month 2: Day 31 Begins-

When morning came, Ike's first thing to do was burst out of his room, and burst into Pikachu's room.

And there was nothing.
Yoshi's room; nothing.
Meta Knight; nothing.
Wolf; nothing.

Ike felt panic rise, thinking the worst. He staggered back, and into the Ancient Minister's room. No one. He asked everyone if they knew what happened. No reply. More panic. He paced around the living room, worried. Oh man, did they...

No...
No...
No, no, no, no, no...!

"Hey, Ike."

He froze. "P-Pika... chu?"

The blonde grinned, tugging his hood. "What up?"
Behind him, stood Wolf, Meta Knight, and Yoshi.
All four were well.

"Y-You're... You're all alive...?" Ike squeaked.

"O-Of course. Wh-Why would we die...?" Pikachu replied. "Well, we were on death-road, but at least we lived."

Ike exhaled a few times before... "Do not scare anyone like that ever again, assholes!"

Wolf chuckled. "Sorry, man. Didn't mean to scare you and give you surprises."

"SPEAKING OF SURPRISES." The Ancient Minister said. "I MUST SAY, THE CONCERN YOU SHOWED... AND EVERYTHING ELSE... THIS MONTH... DESERVES A HIGH SCORE OF 10. EXCELLENT JOB. KEEP IT UP."
Then he left.

For a while... Everyone was silent.

"OH HELL YEAH!" Yoshi and Pikachu cried.

A/N: Of course I wouldn't kill them off! But I had to add some tension. At least the final month is upon us. After a year of this story being published.
Wonderful.
