I've been visiting Gabriella in the hospital for a month now and they said that they might pull the plug soon and just the thought of that broke my heart. My Gabriella…gone. No. It won't happen she'll be fine. She'll wake up I tell everyone, but they just look at me with sympathy. They look at me as if I'm crazy and need help. Every night I cried myself to sleep wishing she was in my arms safe and sound and we were never broken up. I hated it. I hated not being able to do anything, but wait. I was useless. I had to wait. No matter how long. And if she died…I'd go with her…

I was in the cafeteria eating with the gang who consisted of Jason, Ryan, Chad, Zeke, Martha, Kelsey, and Taylor. There was nothing for me to say to them really. My mind was always on Gabriella and they didn't really bug me about it. My phone went off and I saw that it was Ella's dad. I answered immediately. "What's wrong?" I asked franticly. "Troy…She's awake…" He said. I said I'll be over and took off without telling anyone. I ran out the school doors to my truck and took off towards the hospital. I went to the receptionists desk when I got their finally and asked for Gabriella Montez. She said I could visit and gave the pass and I ran to Ella's room. I walked into see your brothers and dad there. Then there she was awake looking at me. "Troy…" She said hoarsely from not talking for so long. "Ella…" I nearly sobbed and walked over to her bed and took her hand. I kissed it and then kissed her sweet, soft lips that always somehow tasted like vanilla.
"I missed you…" I sobbed into her shoulder as she stroked my hair. "I'm here now Troy…" She whispered in my ear. I nodded and collected myself enough to be able to let her family talk to her. "Troy…There's something I need to tell you…" She said sadly. "After I was raped…" I cut her off. "You can't have kids?" I asked. She shook her head. "No when they raped me and through me to the side out of the car when it was driving and I hit my spine in a certain place…They say I may not be able to walk and I won't feel anything below my waist." She said. She looked ashamed of herself for the way she is right now. I hugged her and said, "I'll be by your side no matter what. I love you Gabriella Anne Montez and I won't leave you for something so stupid. I'm here until the end." I said truthfully. She started crying saying how much she loved me.
Later that night we had to leave. I tried to stay, but the nurses told me to pretty much get lost. I kissed Ella goodbye and left the hospital. I was in a great mood and no one could bring it down. I was walking home when I ran into Chad. "Hey…" Chad said quietly. "Hey." I said back. He just nodded than was about to walk off when I stopped him. "Thanks Chad…For saving her…" I said smiling. He smiled. "Anything for a bro. Right?" He said offering his hand. "Anything for a bro." I confirmed and we did our bro hug. He walked off telling me goodbye and I went to my house to do some homework. I eventually fell asleep on my bed dreaming about my future life with Gabriella.
When I woke up it was about six in the morning and it was Saturday. Visiting hours will be soon so I got my clothes and took a shower. Once I was finished I got dressed and took off out the door.
By the time I got there visiting hours were open and I went up to the receptionist's desk. "Gabriella Montez." I stated. She nodded and gave me a pass and I walked to Gabriella's room. I opened the door and saw Gabriella awake and smiling. "Guess who came to visit their favorite person!" I said. She laughed and smiled at me. When I was walking towards her I noticed another male in the room that I never seen before. "Who's this?" I ask suspiciously. She smiled and giggled. "No gifts for me?" I smiled. "I just woke up a hour ago and I'm saving up to get you a very special present." I kissed her nose. I heard the man clear his throat loudly. "So who is this?" I asked again. She frowned and had a nervous glint in her eyes. "Uhh…This is Ty…He's my ex-boyfriend…" Ty smirked and kissed Gabi's cheek. And she blushed! I growled. "I'm out of here." I said and walk out and not acknowledging her yells for me to come back. I just needed time to think. I knew why every ex comes back for the person and I knew he was going to take my Ella away from me. But you don't take what's mine.
