And if they see nothing wrong with the story, they will not take it down and bashing one of your favorite characters isn't worth it. 12-year-old Marco Diaz ran through the streets of Mewni, a guard chasing after him. Turning down an alley, Marco stood in front of a brick wall as he panted and looked around before looking back at the guard, "Look kid, I'm not one for murdering a kid. Just return the gold, and I'll take you back to the orphanage, a family-"

"No they won't!" Marco snapped and narrowed his eyes, "No one wants to adopt a child of thieves!" reaching in his pocket, he pulled out a small dagger and glared at the guard, "You bastards killed my parents, and then you took me to the orphanage!"

The guard sighed and hook his head, "I tried to reason with you," drawling his sword and stepped closer to the young boy, "And now I guess we're going to have to do this by force," he stepped closer to Marco and Marco smirked before swinging his dagger and ran under the guard's legs.

The guard looked back and saw the young boy running towards the Forest of Certain Death. He sighed and shook his head as he sheathed his sword, "The kid is a fool…and now there is no guarantee he'll survive out there. I'll tell the king and queen he ran through the forest before I can catch him." He walked away and headed towards the castle.

The guard entered the castle and Moon and River looked at him and Moon narrowed her eyes, "Odion, did you catch the troublemaker?"

"He escaped, your majesty, and ran into the Forest of Certain Death. I fear he may very well be dead,"

"Well…perhaps it's for the best," Moon sighed and shook her head, "His parents were lowly thieves and their son is not much better. Better a monster gets to him instead of us. We wouldn't want an uprising,"

"Moon pie?"

"That will be all, Odion, thank you," Odion nodded before turning around and walked away, "River, I am not as heartless as people may think, but with that being said, I am not the type of queen who will sit back and watch her citizens live in fear because of a family of thieves,"

"Mom, dad?" the two looked back and saw their 12-year-old daughter Star walking up to them, "Where did Odion go? And who ran to the Forest of Certain Death?"

"Odion had to go look for a troublemaker running the street, dear, and…the troublemaker thought he can escape through the forest. You can rest assure that he will not be causing any more trouble in the kingdom,"

"Oh…okay," Star frowned and turned and walked away.

Star walked into her room and closed the door behind her before walking over to the window and looked out at the Forest of Certain Death. She took a deep breath and shook her head, "Who's hiding out there? And why did they go there? It's so dangerous that mom and dad won't even let me go,"

Marco ran through the forest and panted as sweat ran down his face. He soon came to a halt and doubled over as he tried to catch his breath. He looked back and laughed as he coughed, "Heh…coward…couldn't even bother to chase after me,"

He coughed again before he stood up straight and looked around the heavily wooded area around him, "Well…mom and dad used to tell me I'd have to toughing up one day…and what better way than hiding out in the forest. No one will be dumb enough to set foot on the soil,"

Hearing rustling in nearby bushes, he narrowed his eyes and shook his head, "I need to find shelter…I can't stay out in the open like this," he took a deep breath before he continued running.
