A/N: I'm late I know. Shut it. And because I'm lazy... Well...
"So wait, the serial killers are real?!" Jigglypuff screeched.
Samus nodded, pinching the bridge of her nose. "Sadly, yes."
"W-Well, what do you suppose we do now?" Rosalina asked.
Samus grinned. "I'm glad you ask."
Jigglypuff shrunk. "I'm scared."
"We're gonna make these serial killers regret they ever set foot in our territory!" Samus exclaimed.
"And how are we going to do that?" Zelda asked, curiosity filling her.
"Ohoho... You'll see..." Samus stated. "Zelda, Jigglypuff. Meet me on the rooftop. Rosalina, get Peach... And WiiFit Trainer as soon as she arrives. I'll explain the rest later. I gotta go get backup first."
Samus ran off, trying to find Pikachu and company. She found them standing in front of the Ancient Minister's room, muttering in anger.
"Hey, boys. I need help," She said, approaching them.
"Sorry, can't help," Pikachu replied, banging his fists against the door. "We got business to conduct AND IF HE DOESN'T OPEN THIS DOOR I'M BUSTING IT DOWN!"
Meta Knight sighed. "Sorry Samus. But we're trying to help figure out this serial killer problem, too."
"Tch. Do you even know what I was going to ask?"
"The serial killer issue. Help you out, right?" Yoshi asked.
"Well, we're trying to get rid of it, too," Wolf snapped. "So, sorry. Can't help."
Samus snarled, but nevertheless, understood and left the group to their own devices to explain the plan to the others.
"S-So, we're going to wait out here and attack the serial killers if they come?" Jigglypuff whimpered. "C-Cause no offense or anything but... This idea is stupid."
Samus scoffed. "So?"
"We're going to die, aren't we?" Palutena blatantly asked.
"Not unless they die first," Samus smirked.
Zelda sighed. "I'm sorry to say this, Samus, but I agree with Jigglypuff. This idea is terrible."
The bounty hunter frowned, crossing her arms. She huffed, looking out at the darkened area, the moon hanging above. "Whatever..."
Her eyes surveyed the surroundings, trying to notice if anything was out of place.
"By the way, where is Peach, Rosalina, and WiiFitt Trainer?" Zelda asked.
"Finding out more info about these killers," Samus explained, leaning back against the rooftiles. "As soon as they get more info, they'll inform us. Hopefully before the killers arrive so we get an advantage."
"And if they don't?" Palutena questioned.
"We'll attack anyway!" Samus replied, smiling.
Jigglypuff sighed, running a hand through her hair. "I'm gonna die before the minister kills me. Great."
She sits down, putting on a pouty face. "Just so you know, if we die, I'm gonna haunt this place and tell the minister and the hands that it's all your fault."
Samus scoffed. "Yeah, yeah. Whatever. Trust me, I know what—"
Palutena suddenly stood up, causing the two to quit their small argument.
"Someone's approaching the mansion."
They all stood up, and looked out. Palutena was right, someone was approaching the mansion. No, not someone... A group. A group of masked figures. As soon as they reached they front, they stopped, and stared up at the girls. They said nothing, they only stared. The girls did nothing, either. They glared at the masked killers.
"Looks like we have to fight them without knowing a thing about 'em," Samus muttered. "Great."
Palutena sighed. "It doesn't matter. What we do know is that they're dangerous and we need to take caution."
Jigglypuff gulped, hiding behind Zelda, who smiled and patted her head. "Have no fear Jigglypuff. We'll defeat them."
Samus grinned. "Yeah. We got this."
Jigglypuff whimpered. "Sh-Shouldn't we get back up?"
"Nope!"
"I can't seem to find anything else about these killers," Peach muttered, clicking away.
Wii Fitt observed the newspaper closely. "They're called the Yottsu Boys (1)."
"Well, I still can't find a thing," Peach replied.
Rosalina leaned over Wii Fitt's shoulder. "They're wearing masks, so we can't even describe their faces."
"...Masks, huh?" Peach looked at the photos of the criminals.
The picture was a bit blurry, but not enough to be unviewable. In it, were four boys. They each wore black capes which conviently sported a hood to hide their hair. Rosalina was corrected, they did wore masks. The tallest of the bunch wore a gray mask with a wolf theme, though one of its eyes was an x instead of a red painted dot. The shortest had a pale green mask whose bottom half was curved and white. Another boy, who was slightly taller than the green-masked one, had a dark yellow mask with small pointy bunny ears. The last boy had a metallic-like mask, with a dark curved marking in the middle, yellow dots in the middle of the marking.
Peach stared at the picture. Something was off, very off, about the boys in the picture. She furrowed her brow as she snatched the newspaper to get a closer look.
"Why? What is it?" Rosalina asked.
Peach didn't reply. She stared intently at the picture, focusing her attention on the masks the boys donned. Then it hit her.
"I know who they are!" She stated, slamming the paper on the desk. "Come on, hurry! We have to inform the others."
"W-Wait up!" Wii Fitt and Rosalina cried as they followed.
"S-So what's the plan?!" Jigglypuff asked, staring at the four masked figures who looked up at the girls.
"We fight them, of course," Samus replied, jumping off the roof, Zelda, Palutena and Jigglypuff following.
They stood their grounds, getting into a fighting stance. The masked figures simply stared at them, standing still, unmoving.
"Who are you?" Palutena asked, breaking the silence, but recieved no reply.
"I said, who are you?!" She asked again, voice echoing throughout the night.
Still no reply. Well, there was no verbal reply, but there was a physcial reply. A knife throw. It missed, finding its way to a tree. The metal-masked boy held several knifes his hands. Tilting his head, he lowered it. The green-masked boy step forwad, holding several round items in his hands, ready to throw it. The wolf-masked boy was holding guns akimbo, and looked as if he were ready to fire. All three then turned to face the rabbit-masked boy, as if they were waiting for orders. The girls saw this, and were ready to attack. The rabbit-masked boy nodded, and the others faced the female smashers.
"You wanna fight, eh?" Samus snarled. "Alright punks... Bring it on—"
"Wait, wait, wait, WAIT!" A sudden cry broke out. Everyone turned around to see Peach, Rosalina, Wii Fitt Trainer, and the Ancient Minister.
Everyone stood still, staring at one another in utter silence.
"What the hell is going on?!" Jigglypuff cried.
The masked boys groaned, causing Samus, Palutena, and Jigglypuff to face them. To their surprrise, the boys removed their masks to reveal...
"ARE YOU SHITTING ME?!" Samus screeched.
In front of her was Pikachu, Wolf, Yoshi, and Meta Knight. They stripped off their cloaks (they miracously managed to keep their regular clothes neat and tidy beneath it,) smiling nervously.
"No, we are not... shitting you," Meta Knight replied, putting on his regular mask. "The Ancient Minister asked us to help him."
"With what?" Zelda asked, a bit of anger in her tone.
"Bonding," Wolf groaned. "Stupid, yes, but whatever."
Samus frowned. "Nope. NOPE! I am done. So. Freaking. Done!"
She threw her hands in the air, cursing every colorful word she knew as she walked back inside the mansion.
Pikachu laughed a the sight. "You gotta admit, it was smart."
"No it was stupid!" Samus screamed.
"WELL, YOU FOUR DID YOU JOB. FOR THAT... YOU GET TO TOUR THE NEWCOMERS TOMORROW AND EXPLAIN TO PACMAN AND THE KOOPALINGS WHY THEY'RE HUMANS!" The Ancient Minister said in a cheery tone as he went back inside, the girls following, leaving the four behind.
They looked at one another, frowning. "I hate him."
