Pikachu cursed under his breath, occasionally muttering about how he wants to use the Koopalings to make koopa soup. He looked incredibly agitated as he looked around for the aforementioned group.

"I still can't believe they invited Pacman," Wolf remarked.

"Well, all I know is that this is going to end terribly," Meta Knight added.

Pikachu only scoffed as the once yellow sphere approached them, who looked as if he were on the verge of a panic attack.

"D-Do you guys know what's going on?!" He cried.

Sighing, Pikachu placed a hand on his shoulder. "A lot of stuff. You see, we were turned into humans for a stupid reason and now we gotta do something to be turned back. The end."

Pacman only stared in complete horror and shock. "What."

"He's not joking," Yoshi stated. "This is seriously happening."

"Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to hang out with Mewtwo, you guys handle the rest, BYE," Pikachu hastily stated before fleeing.

Meta Knight sighed. "Well now, I may as well take the Koopalings. Yoshi, you're joining me. Let's go find them."

Before the greenette could protest, he was already being dragged along. Wolf shook his head, chuckling, though whether it be due to aggravation or amusement is up for debate. His gaze fell on Pacman, who was still processing everything.

"Well, looks like it's just you and me, Pac," He remarked. "C'mon. I'll show you around."

"So, Mewtwo, how does it feel to be back?" Pikachu asked as he sat across from the legendary, irritated. "Cause if you say anything postive, I'm going to want to kill you as it means that your stupid tactic of nearly killing my friends worked."

Mewtwo smirked. "Is satisfaction a positive emotion?"

The blonde flipped the bird. "Whatever. Look, the real reason I wanted to talk to you is because I need help. Well, technically, me and my pals need help but you get the point."

"Help? With what?"

Pikachu gulped. "Ah, well. I-I... Er..."

"Too embarrassed to ask?"

"Shut up."

Mewtwo sighed. "Just speak."

Pikachu rolled his eyes. "F-Fine, alright. Yeesh."

He cleared his throat and sat next to the legendary. He twiddled his thumbs for a moment and looked at the other Pokemon, giving him an almost puppy-dog like look. Mewtwo blinked, slightly confused at the gesture. He felt even more confused when Pikachu leaned up next to his ear, whispering something before pulling away. Mewtwo stared.

"...Seriously?" He groaned.

"Dead serious," Pikachu quipped.

"No. I'm not helping," Mewtwo snarled. "N. O. No."

Pikachu's eyes widened. "Wh-Why?!"

"No."

At that, the blonde threw himself on the taller of the two, breaking into hysterics. Angered. Mewtwo attempted to shake the younger one off, but he wouldn't budge. He would attacked Pikachu, but feared that his friends would come barging in if they heard the tiniest pained whimper slip out of his mouth. Realzing that the boy wouldn't budge, Mewtwo gave up.

"Fine. I'll help."

Pikachu smiled, wanting to jump up and cheer but instead opted to hug the legendary, borderline nuzzling him.

"I regret threatening to kill you!" He cried.

I regret coming back, Mewtwo thought.

"So, where are the Koopalings exactly?" Yoshi asked.

Meta Knight paused. Yoshi had a point. No one has even mentioned spotting them, not even the other Mario characters. He wondered if they were late or something else was going on. Judging by what previously happened, he predicted that it was most likely the latter.

"I think we're going to have to round them up," He stated.

"You think that's why Pikachu ditched us and Wolf didn't offer to help?" Yoshi asked, frowning.

"Most likely," Meta Knight replied. "Either way, we're responsible for the Koopalings so we may as well do something."

"So what's your plan?"

"Well, that's what I'm thinking of. I just hope Wolf will have an easier time."

"So, you guys basically have to become friends or else bad things happen, right?" Pacman asked.

"Yup," Wolf said. "It's arguably our fault but we've managed to come this far so I think we'll succeed."

"It still sounds kinda stupid..." Pacman remarked.

"That's cause it is," Wolf muttered. "Nevertheless, we-"

"OUTTA THE WAY, FUCKERS!"

The two paused where they were standing as two familiar figures rushed by them. For a while, they stood in a daze; confused, perplexed, and maybe even intrigued with what transpired in front of them. Almost as if they were trying to process why they saw Mewtwo giving Pikachu a piggyback while borderline zerg-rushing through the halls.

"Well, that was... an interesting sight," Wolf stated, breaking the silence.

"Wonder what is was for..." Pacman added.

"So, we seek them out and round them up, right?" Yoshi asked.

Yes, but the plan is going to be complicated," Meta Knight warned.

"But that's just the basic premise, yeah?" Yoshi questioned.

"Er, yes," Meta Knight replied. "It's going to difficult since it's just the two of us but I think we can manage. We should probably go after Bowser Jr. last. For the others, I feel as if it doesn't matter what order we take. But since you know them, I figure you should pick which order we should go in."

Yoshi froze at the statement. As flattered as he was to be making an important decision, it was exactly that very fact that made him nervous. He didn't recall much about the Koopalings aside from Bowser Jr., and even if he did, he had a feeling that his choices would lead to nothing but failure. He figured that the ever-so stragetic Meta Knight would be making the wise choices and he would have preferred it that way. In fact, he would preferred any of his friends to make their plan.

He bit his lip. "I-uh, haha, can't really help with that."

Meta Knight blinked. "Is that so? Well, then. Guess we're going to have to pick which one will be the easiest to wrangle up first."

"Y-Yeah, that sounds like a great plan!"

With the strategy set in mind, they headed out.

...Well, they were going to until they heard some explosions and laughter.

"...Pikachu?" Yoshi started.

More laughter. This time, it sounded much deeper.

"And Mewtwo," Meta Knight added.

They immediately ran in the direction of the noise. Unsurprisingly, it was Pikachu and Mewtwo. Chasing what Yoshi and Meta Knight assumed to be Wendy Koopa. She was giggling as she managed to avoid some of the Pokemons' attacks, occasionally taunting them.

"You know, I kinda wonder how no furniture gets destroyed during this..." Yoshi muttered, gaping at the situation presented.

Pikachu looked, for a lack of a better term, pissed off. "I swear, when I get my hands on you I will ask Giratina to send you to the fucking Distortion World!"

"Oh, yeah? Let's you try!" Wendy was smirking. "After all, you were doing so well before - YEEK!"

She yelped as she quickly dodged and incoming attack from Mewtwo, who also looked pretty peeved.

"You will come along with us or else," He threatened.

Wendy only grinned. "Or else what?"

At that, Yoshi threw an egg at her. Caught off guard, she fell from her clown car. The four other smashers instantly surrounded her.

"That's one Koopaling down..." Meta Knight remarked.

"Me'thinks you guys want to join the Koopaling round-up?" Pikachu quipped.

"Not like we have a choice," Yoshi stated.

Mewtwo chuckled. "Well, if that's your decision... Shall we be off?"

I wonder how Wolf's doing... Pikachu pondered.

"So, what do you think that piggyback was for? And what was up with the house shaking and laughter?" Pacman asked, nibbling on a snack.

"Eh. It's probably the others," Wolf replied.

"Don't you wanna help them?"

"...Nah."

A/N: Sorry for the wait and if it seems like it wasn't worth it. But hey, I'm finally back to updating. Granted, it won't be regular, but I am back to updating this fic. Anyways, about Mewtwo being back. I'm indifferent as I never played as Mewtwo in Melee (I focused on Pikachu and Kirby.) I don't have the DLC for him yet, but I am planning on getting him. From what I've seen and heard, he's pretty much the same sans final smash, some aesthetics, and he's apparently more floaty.
