Enjoy the next chapter.

Marco walked through the gates of the castle and sprinted towards the Forest of Certain Death, his eyes narrowed and his teeth clinched. Entering the forest, Marco took a deep breath and laughed, "Nothing like fresh forest air filling your lungs," he looked around and chuckled, "Heh, I can't come back for a few more days…don't worry babies, balance will be restored," hearing a twig snap behind him, he growled and looked back to see Star walking through the forest.

He growled and shook his head before he turned around and began walking away, "So…if you were bored at the castle, you could've had a servant open a portal and you could've joined me and Pony Head at the Bounce Lounge,"

"Did it occur to you that I wanted to come back to the forest to get a little fresh air," Star growled and narrowed her eyes, "Anyway, what are you doing here? I figure you'd be with that rude unicorn head,"

"Oh…yeah, Pony Head…King Pony Head came and took her to Saint…S…Saint-"

"Saint Olga's Reform-" Star screamed in a panic and Marco sighed and shook his head, "Right…I have something to get from my cave. You have fun with your little shouting party," he turned and began walking away.

Hearing something snap, his eyes widened as he turned and saw Star standing closer to him, "Goddamn it, princess!" he ran back and spear tackled her to the ground as a pile of stones fell in front of them.

The two looked up before Star looked at Marco and hissed, "What the hell is that, Marco? How did you know about-"

"I set traps up all over the forest to help catch my meals and ward off any intruders," Star growled and shook her head as Marco stood up and dusted himself off, "How you managed to slip past the traps is nothing short of pure dumb luck…and nod if you'll excuse me, I need to get back to my cave and get what I need,"

He turned and began walking away, "Why don't I go with you?" he stopped and looked back in annoyance, "Well…you did say you have traps all over, right?" Marco growled and rolled his eyes, "So since you know where all the traps are, it'll be better if I go with you back to the cave and then we'll travel back to the castle together."

"Whatever," Marco hissed and turned his back towards her, "Just be cautious, some of these traps will sneak up on you," Star rolled her eyes and nodded as the two teenagers began walking through the forest again.

The two stood outside of the cave they were staying in a few days ago and Marco looked at the Star and narrowed his eyes, "Wait here, I'll be back,"

"Who died and made you boss," Marco growled and Star crossed her arms, "Wouldn't it be quicker if we both go in there and look for whatever it is you're looking-"

"And since you have no idea what the hell I'm looking, so it'll be a waste of time if you come in with me," Star scuffed, shook her head and crossed her arms as Marco continued to walk into the cave.

Star watched as Marco walked to the back of the cave, knelt down and reached for something, "Um…if you were just going to go further into the cave, I could've helped you and-"

"Just stay out there!" Marco looked back and barked, "I can handle this! I don't need any help!" Star groaned and shook her head as she watched Marco shove something into his pocket before he stood up, turned and walked out of the cave.

The two teenagers stared at each other in silence before Star took a deep breath and shook her head, "So…now that you've got what ever it was you came here for, should we head back to the castle?"

"Yeah…we wouldn't want your parents to send out an army and have them fall in a trap, now would we?" Star nodded before she turned and began walking away, "I said it before princess and I'll say it again, you are both kind and a damned fool," Marco chuckled and shook his head before he walked up to Star.

Okay, I'm sure you guys are sick of short chapters just like I am, and I'm terribly sorry for them. Please enjoy everyone and please let me know what everyone thinks.
