Marco roamed the corridor, his narrowed eyes shifting around as he growled. Reaching a crossing, he stopped and looked around before hearing a loud crashing coming from the corridor on his right, followed by the sound of several guards moaning in pain. He looked down the corridor, a smirk forming across his lips, "Heh, suckers," hearing heels click on the concrete floor, he looked back and narrowed his eyes as he saw Moon approaching him, "Ah, Queen Moon, I was hoping to avoid confrontation today,"

"Mind your place, boy. Don't forget you are in the Butterfly castle,"

"And you shouldn't forget the spell you used on me," Marco snickered and shook his head as Moon looked at him in confusion, "Come off your high horse, your majesty, it's effective whenever I'm near your daughter,"

"My…you best stay away from her if you know what's best for you,"

"And what are you-" before Marco could finish, he grabbed his chest and hissed, "Damn it…you see! It's when I'm near your daughter, and now you tell me to stay away from her and my chest is tightened…I can barely breathe! What in the hell did you do to me!"'

"I did nothing outside of despise you the day you arrived here," Moon narrowed her eyes and crossed her arms, "You ae the offspring of two known thieves, if you had stayed in that orphanage, none of this would be happening and-"

"Whatever do you mean, queenie?" Marco laughed and turned his back on Moon, "Maybe you didn't cast a spell on me, maybe it was your daughter. I mean I feel strange around her…maybe I should question her,"

"You will stay away from her if you know-" Marco chuckled and shook his head, "And what's so funny, boy?"

"She was going through Mewberty a few days ago, and she came to me for assistance. And as a gentleman, I gladly gave it to her," he looked back, a smirk crossing his lips and Moon narrowed her eyes, "What were you going to do if you learned she was going through Mewberty? Lock her away until it runs its course? I was right, you are-"

"Shut your gob," Moon gasped and quickly covered her mouth.

Marco laughed and shook his head, "The queen acting like a commoner? Am I getting under your skin, queenie? Am I finally breaking you?" Moon narrowed her eyes and Marco chuckled, "Don't worry, queenie, this little encounter will stay between us…I'll just use it for ammo for when I need you," Moon growled as Marco turned and walked away.

Marco walked down the corridor, still chuckling as he shook his head, "Marco?" he stopped and looked back to see Star walking up to him, "What's so funny?"

"Oh…I…just heard a joke,"

"Oh? And what is it?" Marco looked at her in confusion and Star arched a brow, "C'mon Marco, I could use a good laugh,"

"Um…okay uh…What do you call a sleeping bull?" Star looked at him in confusion, "A bulldozer," Star tilted her head to the side and Marco rubbed the back of his head, "Maybe I didn't say it right,"

"Don't worry about it, Marco," Marco looked at the princess in confusion, "I'm sure it was funny, and maybe you didn't say it right, but you tried,"

"Uh…right," he hissed and held his chest and Star looked at him in confusion, "Look…I have something to take care of…I'll…talk to you later," before Star could reply, Marco turned and ran down the corridor, leaving Star in confusion.

Star turned and saw her mother walking down the corridor, "Hey mom," Moon stood and stared at her daughter and Star slightly frowned, "What's wrong, mom?"

"Nothing dear," Moon took a deep breath and shook her head, "I want you to stay away from that boy, Star, and-"

"No," Moon looked at her in disbelief, "Mom, he's my friend, he hasn't done anything wrong since he got here, he hasn't done anything to me when we were in the forest and he-"

"I am aware that you went through Mewberty not that long ago, and you had that boy help you," Star's eyes widened as her face paled, "Yes, your little friend told me…and I'm tell you, stay away from that boy. He's nothing but-"

"And I said no," Star snapped before she turned and chased after Marco down the corridor, leaving her mother.
