OmegaDelta: Yes, and she doesn't like it at all.
Star's Keybalde4114: Yeah, he did, and it worked.
Enjoy the next chapter.
Marco sat on the bed in the guest chamber and stared out the window. Hearing the door open, he looked back and saw Star entering the room and he felt his chest tightened, "Hey Marco," Marco slightly smirked, "Are you okay?"
"I…I…I don't know," Star stepped further into the room and sat down next to him, "I just…whenever I'm around you…I feel funny,"
"Funny?"
"Yeah…I think your mom put a spell on me,"
"A spell?" Marco nodded and Star arched a brow, "Well…you said you feel funny when you're around me…funny how?"
"Well, my chest tightens, my knees begin to feel weak and I feel like I can barely breathe." Star slightly smiled before she giggled and Marco looked at her in confusion and annoyance, "I fail to see what's so funny,"
"My mom didn't cast a spell on you, Marco," Marco arched a brow and Star sighed and shook her head, "C'mon, why don't we go to another Dimension and have a little fun. I'm sure we can find something to do outside of the castle,"
"Maybe, but without dimensional scissors, we're stuck here and-" before he could finish, Star held up a pair of dimensional scissors, a smirk painted across her lips, "Alright, and where do you expect us to go?"
"The Bounce Lounge," Star smiled and Marco looked at her, "C'mon Marco, there's a rumor going around that the Bounce Lounge is going to close in a few hours, and I want us to have a little fun before it happens," she stood up and opened a portal before opened a portal and looked back, "Are you coming?" Marco sighed and nodded before standing up and the two of them stepped through the portal. (I am aware that the Bounce Lounge closed and everything, but for the sake of the story, let's say it's open for right now.)
The two teenagers, along with several other patrons danced as loud music filled the air and strobe lights flash. Marco looked back at the blonde princess and lowly growled under his breath as he grabbed his chest, "If your mother didn't do this to me…did you do this?"
Star looked up, her blue eyes met his brown ones and she slightly smiled as she turned and looked away, "C'mon!" she grabbed him by the arm and began pulling him away, "Let's take some picture before we go somewhere else!" she pulled him towards the photo booth.
The two sat down and Star inserted money in the slot and sat back before the two of them were blinded by several flashes. The flashes soon ended and Star reached out of the photo booth and grabbed the strip of photos before sitting back down. She frowned and Marco looked at her in confusion, "What's wrong?"
"You," she showed him the photos and Marco looked at them, "You're not smiling, you're not doing anything. It looks like you don't care,"
"Well sorry to disappoint you, princess, but I'm not much of a picture taken guy," Star frowned and Marco sighed, "Can we go somewhere else, please?" Star took a deep breath and nodded before opening a portal and the two of them stepped through it.
The two sat down on a white sandy beach as waves crashed along the shoreline and the salt winds gently blew past them. Marco looked at Star and arched a brow, "And where are we now and why?"
"Oh, I come here once in a while to get away from my parents. No one really knows about this place. I actually found it by accident, and I started coming here ever since." Star looked at him and smiled, resting her head on her knees, "So what's bugging you? You seem rather distant…again,"
"I…it's…it's spell you or your mom placed on me," Star slightly frowned and Marco groaned and shook his head, "Like I said, whenever I'm around you, my chest tightens, I can barely breathe…what was that spell?" Star took a deep breath and Marco groaned again as he fell back onto the sandy beach, "Why are you doing this to me? What did I do?"
"Marco…like I said, it's not a spell," Marco looked at her with narrowed eyes, "Marco…in the short time we've been together…I don't know how to tell you this, but you…you developed feelings for me," Marco's eyes widened and he shook his head, "Yes, that's why your chest tightens, that's why you can barely breathe, that's called love and-"
"No," Marco stood up and began pacing around, "No, no, no. I…I don't love anyone in the Butterfly family," Star slightly frowned as her eyes followed Marco, "Not after your mother killed my parents in front of me! I cannot stand any Butterfly family-"
"Marco,"
"What!" Star stood up, wrapped her arms around Marco's neck and pressed her lips against his, surprising him.
Star broke from the kiss and slightly smiled, "What…what did you feel?" Marco narrowed his eyes and looked away, "Marco…rather or not my mother had your parents killed, I don't know. I can't take your word because she's my mother, and I can't take her word because you've kept me company in the forest, and you helped me during Mewberty…but…I can tell you that what you've been feeling isn't the result of magic,"
Marco looked at her and arched a brow, "Are you sure? You're not just lying to me to get me to back off?"
"I'm sure Marco," Star lightly smiled, "I know you find it hard to believe, and that's find. You've been living in the forest for a few years, but I'm not lying to you about anything."
"I…I uh…whatever," Marco looked away and Star slightly frowned, "Shouldn't we get back to the castle before your parents decide to send a damn search party or something after us?" Star slightly nodded before she took the dimensional scissors out of her purse and opened a portal and the two of them stepped through it.
Marco walked down the corridor of he west wing, a hardened look crossing his face, "Me…and the princess? That's absurd…that's…that's…she's a Butterfly for crying out loud and I can't stand the Butterfly family," he sighed and shook his head, "And why would she do that to me? I haven't exactly been a great person to her and her family…although, I have to admit…it did feel good,"
He groaned and shook his head, "Damnit Marco, pull yourself together. This is a member of the Butterfly family we're talking about," hearing screams of agony, he looked back and chuckled, "Well…it sounds like another guard fell for another trap. Incompetent fools," he turned and continued to walk down the corridor.
Okay, I have not much to say about this one. This story's nearing its end and I hope to get a better sequel out soon. Please enjoy everyone and please let me know what everyone thinks.
