Case Closed AU

It was just a few days later when a woman came to Richard and asked him to find her old flame. Irene took one long hard look at the woman, then at the picture she drew before boldly stating that the woman didn't like this man otherwise the drawing would be more flattering no matter how badly she drew it.

"My advice Jiji, don't help her find the guy. She doesn't wish him well. Now if you'll excuse me Jessie wanted me to meet her at the park to talk about one of the cases." Irene said calmly before walking out the door with her skateboard under her arm, a soccer ball in her back pack, and her necklace around her neck.

"Jessie-nee! Dr. Keeler! What's up?" Irene asked hopping off of her skateboard as she stopped right in front of the two women who stopped talking with each other and smiled at her.

"Hi Irene-chan. Where's my hug?" Karen asked smiling down at the girl who had gotten into the habit of giving her a hug every time she saw the dentist. The auburn haired woman got her answer by being tackled in a hug by Irene while Jessica laughed slightly, something she had found herself doing more and more often the longer she hung out around Irene.

"Now where's mine?" Seiko asked coming up to them with a bag on her arm. She was quickly tackled around the legs as well.

"My turn!" Jessica said stealing Irene from Seiko and hugging her close.

"There now I'm happy. I got my hug." Karen said giggling while Seiko chimed in with a 'me too' and Jessica merely grinned.

"I call carrying her!" Jessica chimed in causing Irene to be confused while the other two pouted. Since she trusted the three of them so much now Irene hadn't bothered to see what they had on or were carrying before she hugged them. Now that she took a good look at them she saw that all three of them were in casual cloths, unlike their normal professional outfits.

Instead of her normal three piece red dress suit Karen was wearing a simple red blouse, a pair of black skinny jeans with small embezzled designs in the back pockets, a simple pair of stud earrings instead of her normal red dangling gem like ones, and a pair of red pumps instead of her normal low heels. Her long auburn colored hair was pulled back and held back with a simple red ribbon.

Instead of her lavender three piece dress suit, Seiko was wearing a light lavender tee shirt with red and green splotches all over it, her skirt was replaced with a pair of Capri pants, her heels now exchanged with soccer shoes, and her usual ever present brief case was replaced with a plastic bag on her arm and an over the shoulder bag that was the same lavender color as her shirt.

Instead of her deep purple one piece dress and diamond earrings, Jessica was now in a deep dark purple tee shirt, a pair of baggy but nice blue jeans, her heels were replaced with soccer shoes, her long diamond earrings exchanged for simple small studs a lot like Karen's, and there was dark purple scarf on her head over her short black hair. The only thing that remained the same about her was her purple lipstick, fingernail polish, and the purple choker around her neck.

"You three are dressed differently than normal." Irene said stating the obvious and causing the three to chuckle.

"You're usually noticing things like that before you get anywhere near a person you've seen before." Seiko said smiling at Irene who crossed her arms and pouted cutely.

"I trust you three. That's why I let my guard down around you three." Irene said before yelping when the three women squealed and tried to glomp her all at once.

"Air! Need air please!" Irene called from between the three way hug, causing many nearby teen boys and men to look at her in envy for being squished between three beautiful women.

"Why does everyone keep doing that?!" Irene asked after she finally could breathe again by popping her head out from between their combined bodies.

"You're just too cute." Karen said as she and Seiko finally, reluctantly, pulled away a bit.

"Now for the surprise we have in store for you today, Irene-chan." Seiko said as she began to remove the plastic from the object in the bag, causing Irene's eyes to practically glitter at the sight of a brand new soccer ball.

"We've noticed how much you enjoyed playing soccer, although there's no one that can or will play with you most of the time and you always have to use that old filthy ball. So we thought we'd buy you a new ball and play with you for a while before our second surprise is ready to start. How does some two on two sound to you?" Seiko said grinning at Irene who was practically vibrating with excitement in Jessica's arms.

"Sounds good to me! Wait… can you play in those shoes Dr. Keeler?" Irene asked looking at Karen curiously and causing her to giggle as she reached into a small back pack on the bench behind her.

"No but I came prepared. See? One pair of soccer ready shoes right here." Karen said pulling out some soccer shoes and slipping them on quickly.

"So who's on who's team?" Jessica asked as she set down Irene who gave them all another big hug as she began to bounce the soccer ball on her legs.

"I'll be on Irene-chan's team. Maybe I can get her to start calling me Karen-nee or aunt soon." Karen said almost instantly as she smiled down at Irene who looked up and grinned back at her. The other two looked at her understandingly. They had known Irene longer than her and Irene had taken to calling them both by affectionate honorifics already, Seiko quicker than Jessica because she'd known Seiko longer. She'd known Karen the least out of the three so she hadn't taken to calling her by an affectionate suffix yet but the dentist felt attached to the young girl so she couldn't wait to see what title she got.

"That leaves you and me Seiko-san." Jessica said smiling at Seiko who just grinned back.

"You can drop the formalities by now Jessica-san. I think we've hung out enough for that much." Seiko said lightly drilling Jessica's arm.

"Then please just call me Jessica or simply Jessie, Seiko." Jessica said punching Seiko's shoulder in retaliation.

"So where are the goals and who's the goalies?" Irene asked curiously as she bounced the ball up and down on her head.

"How bout between those two trees for us and those two over there for Seiko-san and Jessica-san. I'll be goalie for our team." Karen said with a small grin as she pointed out the trees.

"I'll be goalie for our team." Seiko said causing Jessica to grin.

"Looks like we get to see who the faster striker is between us two, Irene-chan." Jessica said grinning down at Irene as the four females took their places on the makeshift field.

"You're on Jessie-nee!" Irene said getting into her starting position as they waited for a sign to start.

"Ready? Set? Go!" Seiko yelled from her goal post, causing the two to start. In a flash Jessica was already kicking the ball down the field towards Karen. In a small blue and purple blur though, Irene stole the ball without Jessica seeing and began to giggle as she kicked it towards Seiko's goal.

"What the-?" Jessica said looking around confused when she went to kick the ball, only it wasn't there anymore. That just made Karen break out laughing. Jessica whipped her head around and saw Irene kicking the ball leisurely towards the goal.

"Sneaky little girl." Jessica said grinning before turning and running at Irene to get the ball back. Irene glanced back and grinned challengingly at Jessica before she picked up the pace, rushing towards Seiko who smirked as she got ready to block the ball.

"Watch the ball Aunty Seiko!" Irene sing-songed as she kicked the ball high up into the air. Everyone nearby watched the ball arc high up into the air, staring as Irene jumped up as it began to come back down. With a vertical spin to add to the dramaticness Irene kicked the ball straight in with her foot and everyone could only watch in disbelief and slight shock as the ball was sent flying through the two trees right past Seiko's outstretched hands as she belatedly tried to stop the ball.

"Goal!" Irene cheered happily with a giggle as she easily landed on her feet after the kick.

"We scored the first goal of the game Karen-nee!" Irene cheered running back over towards Karen who was staring at her shocked, but soon grinned and scooped Irene up.

"That was completely awesome Irene-imouto! We knew you were good at soccer but that was on a whole different level!" Karen cheered as she did a little dance with Irene in her arms.

"Hehe it wasn't anything big." Irene said scratching the back of her neck embarrassed. One very one sided game later Karen was just drinking a soda she had bought while Jessica and Seiko were panting in exertion, and swearing respectively as they tried to keep up with Irene who was giggling happily as the two women collapsed.

"Next time I want to be on Irene-chan's team." Seiko panted from trying to stop the soccer ball so many times. Jessica never got the ball anywhere close to Karen and Irene's goal, somehow someway Irene would always steal it before she got that far.

"Y-You and me both. W-we never stood a-a chance." Jessica said panting, Irene must have been fed too much caffeine and sugar or something cause that girl was a speed demon!

"Huh? What's that lady up there doing?" Irene asked noticing something strange out of the corner of her eye and looking at the roof of a nearby building.

"Let me grab my binoculars." Karen said putting down her drink and grabbing said item out of her back pack.

"Strange looks like she's pouring gas on that roof top." Karen said looking through the binoculars confused.

"Hey can I see Karen-nee?" Irene asked tugging slightly on the hem of Karen's shirt.

"Sure." Karen said with a shrug as she handed Irene the tool, causing the little girl to look at the woman and roof curiously.

"That's the woman that went by the agency earlier…baka-jij must've helped her find the person she was looking for after all. Wait a second… there's people on that roof covered in gas! Crap!" Irene said her eyes widening as she looked at her old soccer ball nearby and calculated the distance and wind conditions.

"Looks like I'll get one more use out of this old ball." Irene said as she bent down to turn the dial on her shoe for the first time that day, the other three only noticing that she was getting into a runners position.

"As soon as I kick the ball I'm going to run to that building to hopefully stop that woman from becoming a murderer." Irene said to the others who just looked at her confused before Irene took off towards her old ball, kicking it with all her might and causing many to stare as the ball almost literally flew up to the roof and hit that woman's hand. In a flash Irene was off towards the building in question as Seiko and Jessica jumped up with new adrenaline pumping through their veins.

"Irene-chan wait on us!" Karen called as she dashed after Irene, Seiko and Jessica a little ways behind her.

"Hey lady! This is a no killing zone! No murdering or murder cases are allowed! Even arson!" Irene yelled as she made it to the top of the stairs of the building where the woman was clutching her wrist, Irene's old soccer ball resting innocently against the railing of the roof top.

"Huh? You… You're that little girl from the agency. How'd you know I'd be here?" The would be killer asked looking over at Irene startled, as Jessica, Karen, and Seiko finally made it up the stairs.

"You have way too much energy Irene-chan." Seiko panted out as she leaned against the railing, glaring slightly at the other two women.

"How are you two not exhausted yet?" Seiko asked causing Karen and Jessica to smirk at her.

"I practice Judo so I stay in excellent physical condition, although Irene is unhumane with her stamina." Jessica said shrugging.

"I played track and practice Kendo. Both of which gives me quite a bit of stamina." Karen said smirking.

"Look lady I don't know or care what they did to make you hate them enough to kill them but I don't let murder happen when can stop it. So either give it up, or I call the police!" Irene said glaring at the woman who frowned at her.

"Hey look lady. I know I caused tat wreck that killed your boyfriend, fiancé, whoever he was to you. If you want to kill me then go ahead, but leave my girlfriend alone! She's three months preggers! Killing her would kill the baby too!" The guy covered in gas said glaring at the would be killer as he tried to shield the terrified woman behind him.

"So? Did you care when you caused that wreck? Did you care when you caused my fiancée death? Did you care when that wreck caused my unborn babies death?!" The woman demanded as tears welled in her eyes, causing the man to flinch.

"Please open your mouth and insert your foot." Irene muttered to the three women behind her who all nodded in agreement.

"Look lady. Yeah you've had it rough and it's probably this jerks fault but would your fiancé and child have wanted you to be a cold blooded killer?" Irene asked, and that stopped the woman cold as she broke down sobbing, causing Irene to sigh as she walked over and gave the woman a hug.

"Told Jiji not to help her find him." Irene muttered as she was leaving the scene with Karen, Jessica and Seiko behind her.

"Come on Irene-chan. If we hurry we might make it to the arena before the soccer game begins! We got tickets as a bit of a surprise for you, they're even the tickets where you get to meet the players after the game!" Jessica said scooping Irene up into her arms.

"Eh really? How'd you get those?" Irene asked looking surprised as she tilted her head to the side curiously. She really should have expected the three way glomp that came next.

"KAWAIIIIII!"
