Case Closed AU

"You're finally awake." Karen said sighing in relief when Irene peeled her eyes open for the first time in a week. The first thing the girl noticed was that she was in a hospital, second was the breathing mask on her face, and finally… she realized that her chest hurt!
"Thank goodness. You've been out of it for a week." Seiko said sinking back into her chair while Irene blearily looked around, spotting her glasses on the bedside table next to her and reaching over to grab them when she felt a weight on her hand. Looking over she saw Camilla and Jasmine sleeping side by side in a large chair next to her bed, Jasmine's head on Camilla's back while Camilla's head was resting against the bed, right on top of Irene's right hand.
"They've barely left your side since you got here. Rachel-chan and Jessica tried to stay the whole time but we had forced them out of the room a few days so that they would sleep and shower… and eat. Richard and Eva-san were both here for a long while too but left with Rachel-chan to make sure she actually ate and slept… although Richard and Eva were arguing over whether or not Eva should cook for Rachel-chan or not." Seiko said handing Irene her glasses, letting her put them on with her left, unoccupied, hand.
"Those little friends of yours, the other actors and actresses in your movies, and what looked like half the police department visited a lot too." Karen added as she handed Irene a glass of water, tilting it so that she would slowly sip it through the hole in the breathing mask.
"So did most of the people you've helped in the past, and a lot of admirers sent you get well soon presents." Seiko finished, pointing to one corner of the room which was filled with presents and candy and cards.
"Ugh…" Camilla groaned as she began to come around, peeling her eyes open before shooting straight up when she saw that Irene was awake. Her actions making Jasmine snap awake as well.
"You're awake!" The mother daughter duo said in harmony.
"How long have I been out?" Irene asked confused, looking irritated at her breathing mask as she took it off.
"For ten full days. Although to be fair the first four days you were medicated so that your body would rest and recuperate on it's own. The last six days you were in a small coma." Jasmine said softly as she rubbed her eyes with the back of her hands.
"Oh…" Irene said eloquently.
"How are you feeling Irene-san?... or would you prefer Jimmy-san?" Camilla asked causing Irene to jerk in shock, sitting straight up only to yelp and clutch her chest in pain.
"H-How did you-?" Irene asked her voice suddenly ragged as she stared at the four women around her, none of who looked surprised only worried about her.
"Shortly after we got Rachel-chan and the others to leave for the first time you seemed to be having heart problems and then suddenly turned into Jimmy Kudo. Luckily, even though she's still a student Jasmine-san has a nurse qualification so she assured the nurses at the desk that she'd look after you. You were barely conscious around that time but you explained everything to us, especially the part about having to keep your identity a secret cause of the guys in black." Seiko said softly as she gently pushed Irene back into a resting position.
"We'll keep your secret safe don't worry." Camilla said reassuringly while Jasmine nodded in agreement.
"You've kept my secret Irene-imouto. I'll keep yours. You're still my baby sister no matter what." Karen said with a gentle smile causing Irene to sigh in relief and smile back at all of them.
"I bet you enjoy those hugs you always get for being so cute though." Seiko teased causing Irene to pout slightly.
"I'd like them a lot better if I could breath through them! I'm surprised I've never passed out via lack of air during one of those hugs! Especially that three way hug you two and Jessie-tou-san are fond of doing!" Irene said pouting cute and arming a slight squeal and double glomp from Jasmine and Camilla.
"Why are you calling Jesse 'tou-san'?" Seiko asked snickering as Irene tried to break free of the double hug.
"She's dating Rachel who's my 'kaa-san' as Irene, which to a first grader would make her Irene's 'tou-san'. My parents as Jimmy find it hilarious and don't mind." Irene said taking deep breaths as she finally got free from the hug of death.
"Remind me to have a camera ready for when Jessie hears her new title for the first time." Karen said snickering and causing Seiko to nod in agreement.
"Hi hi. Is there any change in her condo- you're awake!" Sato said nearly dropping the flowers she and Yuki bought when she saw that Irene was wide awake as everyone turned to her.
"She's awake?" Yumi asked poking her head through the doorway and grinning when Irene smiled and gave a slight wave.
"Oi she's awake now!" Yumi called back into the hallway, causing what sounded like a veritable stampede.
"So you're awake now Kudo." Harley said as soon as he entered the room, being the first one to do so along with Yumi.
"It's okay Irene-chan. They were all three here when you explained it after reverting into him." Karen quickly explained at Irene's wide eyed look towards Harley.
"We don't know what happened to turn you into Irene but all that matters is that you're her now. We'll help you however way we can." Sato quickly and quietly whispered earning a thankful smile from Irene before more people flooded into the room, Eva and Rachel in the lead with Jessie, Agase, Richard, and McGuire tied for third. Irene watched shocked as her hospital room filled with people quickly, and there seemed to be more and more people coming and standing out in the hallway of her room. Irene even spotted her parents in disguise and a strange woman he had never seen before standing next to Dr. Agase.
"You had us really worried Irene-chan." McGuire said for everyone as Eva and Rachel were squishing Irene in relieved hugs. Irene took another look around and smiled slightly at everyone, thinking of only one thing to say to them all.
"Sorry. I didn't mean to worry everyone!"
