I know, I know, I'm late. Sorry. I just wasn't feeling it before, you know? Here I am now though!

Chapter 5

The three Winchesters sat in tense silence as Dean sped out of town, on the lookout for any signs that the authorities were after them. They had a few close calls of police cars almost spotting them, but they took as many back roads as they possibly could and made it out of town in two hours. They're plan was to head for the next town over to hunker down for the night at some motel. They knew that they couldn't stay there for long, as the police would be sure to check for them in the surrounding towns.

"I say we head for Bobby's." Dean suggested. Both of his younger siblings nodded in agreement, and the silence began again.

Sam was so pleased that his sister was back and safe. He couldn't help but worry that something was wrong. Eli seemed off, like she was upset with them. He had no idea why. And she hadn't seemed surprised to see him alive. Speaking from personal experience, he knew that one was usually surprised when they saw their deceased brother standing in front of them. Instead, she hadn't asked questions or seemed the least bit surprised. Sam had actually seen anger and sadness in her eyes.

The answer to all of Sam's questions came when they reached the next town's most rundown, hidden motel they could find. Dean checked them in and the three took their things into the room, looking around at the generic interior of the room. There were two beds, one couch, a flimsy table with two chairs to match, and the door to a presumably grimy bathroom on the farthest wall. Sam walked over to the table and dropped the duffel bag he was holding onto it, turning to his siblings.

Eli started towards him, jaw clenched angrily and a dangerous look in her eye. She stopped in front of him and punched Sam square in the face, knocking the look of confusion off his face for a few seconds as he held his nose as it began to bleed.

"Hey!" Dean exclaimed, stepping in between his brother and his sister, breaking up any further fighting that might have occurred. Dean turned to look at his brother, making sure he was okay. He knew Elizabeth could throw quite a punch.

"What the hell?!" Sam said, sounding slightly nasally as he held his nose.

"You think you can just waltz in here and act like everything's okay?! News flash, Sammy, IT'S NOT OKAY!" she yelled, trying to get past Dean's arm that was barring her way, "IT'S BEEN MONTHS SINCE YOU LEFT ME THERE! SO DON'T YOU DARE 'WHAT THE HELL' ME!"

"What are you talking about?!" Sam sounded utterly lost. Dean felt the same, looking to Eli for an explanation.

"He left me there! He left me to rot in prison!" she told Dean, not taking her angry eyes off of Sam for a moment.

"What do you mean?!" Sam questioned.

"Like you don't know!"

Dean turned to his little sister, placing his hands on her shoulders to steady her. "What are you talking about?"

"Sam came to visit me in prison." Eli hissed.
