Chapter 14
Natsume's mansion:
I waited about 2 minutes when the door swung open revealing a woman in her early 30's with raven black locks in an elegant bun with red eyes greeted me and to my surprise it was aunt Kaoru! I started to panic. I haven't seen aunt Kaoru for ages, well okay seven years.
Aunt Kaoru looked shocked but a smiled graced her elegant face "Oh my, what do we have here?"
I quickly took out my notebook and began to write but before I can show it to aunt Karou, a sweet but fake voice rang out.
Luna emerged from the grand stair case and her face expressed fake relief "Oh there you are, Mikan! Natsume and I were beginning to worry. It's really dangerous you know for a girl like you to wonder around so late at night. You should've asked Natsume to drive you." She then turned to aunt Kaoru and said "She is Natsume's partner for school, auntie and her name is Mikan Sakura and she's mute."
Aunt Kaoru looked at me shock but she gave me a look, a look of reorganization. "Mikan Sakura you say, Luna?"
Luna was shocked but just nodded. Realization hits auntie Kaoru that I'm still outside her house and she immediately let me in.
"Luna, I think it's about time for you to go. I'll get a driver to drive you home, okay dear?" Luna tried to protest but aunt Kaoru cut her off "I think your mother will be worried if you don't get home soon, Theodore!" a man in his late 40's came and bowed "take Miss. Luna home would you Theodore?"
In a blink of an eye Luna was sent home.
"Thank goodness Luna is gone!" Aunt Kaoru sighed in relief "that girl was driving me nuts." I stood there in shock with my mouth hanging wide open. Then I felt a hand around my wrist and before I know it, I was dragged into the house.
After we are in the house, Aunt Kaoru turned to face me and asked "You're not Mikan Sakura are you" to me that was not a question, but a statement. I took out my notebook and wrote it's been awhile, Aunt Kaoru. As if on cue, Natsume came through the door with a pissed face.
