I am so sorry for the late update…there few things all happening at once in these past few months. I moved and you guys know how moving is right? Yeah…and these few months I had some health issues which caused me to be hospitalized…BUT THE PAST IS IN THE PAST! So let's get this story going!
Chapter 17

Hyuuga Mansion:
I woke up due to the morning sun seeping through the light red curtains. Of course being the sleeper I am, I decided to sleep in. That's when it hits me; my curtains are defiantly not red. Almost instantly, my eyes snapped open. I did a lazy stretch and then sat up doing another stretch. I looked at my surroundings and everything came flowing through my brain. I walked to the bathroom and was preparing my morning routine. As I was washing my face, I thought I heard someone knocking my door. I tried to listen for it again but heard nothing. Then I heard banging. I unlocked the door there is a maid. My eyes widen in shock because a) I am still in my tangerine pattern pajamas that my uncle had given Aunt Kaoru b) my face is full of foam due to the face cleansing. I blinked once, twice and a voice broke my trance.
"Miss Mikan, Mistress Kaoru told me to inform you that young Master Natsume will not be attending school today." I just nodded and bowed to thank her for the news. After 10 minutes, I left for school.
Alice Academy:
The news about Luna being engaged spread like wild fire. To be honest I am pissed, very, very pissed. Pissed at Luna for being a gold digger, pissed at myself for not being able to do anything. The day was slow and I didn't really pay attention much. At last it is the end of the day. I was about to leave the school grounds when I heard a honk. There's Persona with Youchi. I looked around and noticed that the cost was clear; so I hopped in and showed persona my note book which has my destination.
Hyuuga Mansion:
I was about to enter the house when the front door was suddenly open. Out came Natsume, furious. I saw Aunt Kaoru chasing after him. Her face lighten up when she saw me "please go after Natsume! I don't want him to get into any trouble!"
I followed Natsume but it was kind of hard since he's taller than me and he walks faster than me. That's when I notice that the light had changed into red. Natsume was already across the street. The next thing I knew it, I heard a screech and there were a bunch of men. And they don't look friendly. Crap. I hid and I saw that they had knocked Natsume. What do I do? What do I do? I looked again and thank god, because Natsume was still conscious—even though there was blood trickling down his forehead. Without thinking I ran out and grabbed Natsume. I didn't get far because I felt something cold hit my head. I dropped down but still manage to get Natsume out of the way. He was shocked and was about to help me when I notice the shadow behind him.
*WHACK*
There he is, Natsume on the floor. Blood. Lots and lots of blood. At the moment I regret my life. I regret losing my voice. If I have a voice I can call for help. If only I have my voice…"Natsume…NATSUME!" Apparently, he heard the voice and my eyes widen in shock.
"Natsume! Get up! Now!" he heard it and he ran. At least he's safe. All I feel is pain and I feel cold. My vison is getting blurry and I have a major headache. I feel like sleeping but then I heard sirens. Before I lose everything I saw Natsume rushing towards me.
