Hey, guys! So, I probably should have warned you in the first chapter but I am not very quick at updating. My schedule is really hectic between school, work, and sleep. However, have no fear! For I promise that I will not stop until this story is actually finished! Also, I realized that there may be some inconsistencies with the episodes but I figured that it is my story and I can twist it however I want. So either way, I hope you guys continue to read! Oh, and Sam and Dean make an appearance in this chapter, so this is now needed:

Disclaimer: I do not own any characters that you recognize from the show. I only own those you do not recognize. lol

Sam and Dean were sitting in a diner, same as many others that they have been in, eating lunch. Dean was enjoying his regular cheeseburger while Sam had his regular salad in front of him. Sam was surfing the internet looking for any possible leads on where the devil was.

"Any luck on finding the devil?" Sam looked at his brother in slight disgust as he was talking with his mouth full of food. Dean, having seen Sam's expression, gave him an impish grin. Sam rolled his eyes.

"Unfortunately, no. Do you think we should call Bobby and see if he found anything?" Dean took the last bite of his cheeseburger before squishing in the rest of his french fries in his mouth. He went to answer but noticed the look on Sam's face again. He was tempted to keep screwing around with his little brother but quickly decided that now wasn't the time. He swallowed his food and washed it down with his soda.

"Yea. Maybe he has something." Sam quickly pulls out his phone to call Bobby. While Sam was on the phone, Dean called over the waitress so they could get the check. When Dean turned his attention back to Sam, he saw him looking something up on his laptop.

"Huh. Yea, ok. We'll check it ou, Bobby. Call us if you find anything." Sam hung up and continued to look at his laptop. Dean waited for Sam to explain what it was exactly that they were going to be checking out. However, Sam was still looking at his laptop. Dean cleared his throat.

"Well? Did Bobby have something?" Sam looked up from his laptop.

"Oh, well, he didn't have anything on the devil. But…" Dean sat waiting again and saw the look on his brother's face.

"But...what?" Sam let out a little sigh.

"He found a case. A couple hours from here and wanted us to check it out." Sam continued to have a look on his face and Dean was confused.

"Great. We have a case so why do you have that constipated look on your face?" Sam scoffed at his brother.

"I don't-" Sam sighed again. "It's just. It doesn't look like anything big. We kind of have bigger fish to fry, don't you think?" Dean could understand where he was coming from. Dean was right next to Sam at the top of the list of people that wanted Lucifer dead. However, to do that they needed to find the remaining horsemen.

"Look, Sam. We don't have a lead on the horsemen and I doubt we will get one within the next day or two it would take to look into this case. We go check it out, solve it if it is a case, then get right back on the horsemens trails. And anyways, you already told Bobby that we would check it out." Sam understood his brother's logic and nodded his head.

"Yea, I guess you're right." Dean gave his little brother his signature smirk.

"Of course I'm right. Now let's get going. Fill me in on our maybe-case on the drive." Dean paid the check and the boys made their way out of the diner and over to the impala. "Where are we headed?" The boys got in and Dean started the car. He looked over at Sam while waiting to know where to go.

"A town called Willcox." Dean got their map of Arizona out and handed it to Sam. WIth that, the boys began their journey to Willcox, Arizona.

Annabel sat in her hospital bed with her knees pulled to her chest. In the past couple of days, two more patients had passed away. Annabel normally isn't paranoid but she felt that something weird was going on. No one else found the recent deaths as anything out of the ordinary because, well, they were dying patients in a hospital. However, Annabel found it strange that the cause of death for all the patients was suffocation. 'How is it possible that all of them died from suffocation?' Annabel though. She was pulled out of her thoughts by a knock on the door. Miranda opened the door and stuck her head in.

"Hey, Annabel. You have some people here to see you." Annabel gave her a confused look. Before she could voice her confusion, Miranda opened the door all the way and two tall, good looking guys in suits walked in. They didn't look overly official. but Annabel sat up in her bed anyway. "Now, not too long agents. She needs to rest." With a small 'yes ma'am' from both men, Miranda gave Annabel a small smile and walked out of the room, leaving the door open. The 'agents' cleared their throats and pulled their badges out from their coat pockets.

"Hi, Annabel. I'm Agent Banner. This is my partner, Agent Hamill." The tall one said, gesturing to the shorter man next to him. "We are here to talk to you about the recent passings of some of the patients that were on this floor." The agents went to put their badges away after flashing it at the teenager. Annabel quirked an eyebrow at them.

"Can I see your badges again, please?" The agents gave each other a short look and showed their badges to her again.

"Sure." Annabel looked closely at the badges then up at the men. She was a little suspicious. 'Why are the FBI here?' she asked herself. She looked up at them and gave them a small smile.

"What can I help you with, agents?" The men put their badges away and began asking their questions, glad that the teenager believed them.

"The past week, three patients on this floor have passed away. What can you tell us about them?" Annabel looked down at her hands beginning to feel bad.

"I didn't know the last two patients very well. I only saw them in passing. Only really spoke basic greetings to each other. I knew the first patient very well. Mr. Oliver was a really sweet man. He always tried to cheer me up." The men looked at each other.

"Why would Mr. Oliver cheer you up?" The shorter one asked. Annabel looked up, surprised at the question.

"Um, besides the fact that I'm dying?" The agent immediately looked apologetic and suffered from a rib shot from the tall man standing next to him.

"I'm sorry. I didn't-" he stopped when Annabel gave a soft laugh and shook her head.

"It's alright. I'm not upset about dying." The men looked surprised. Before they could ask why, Annabel, who had already guessed at their next questions, answered. "I've known for a long time that I would die young, agents. I've already come to peace with it." The agents again looked at each other. The tall one was the one to speak.

"You're very well-adjusted for a teenager." Annabel gave him a light shrug as if saying, 'I guess.' Agent Banner then re-asked their previous question. "So, if your condition wasn't the reason why, then what was?" Annabel got a sad look in her eyes.

"My father passes away not too long ago. He was my only family member left. Mr. Oliver always tried to cheer me up and he actually became another father figure to me." Annabel tried to keep the tears in her eyes from falling. She disliked crying. She always tried to celebrate a person's life instead of mourning over their death. However, with the recent happenings, it hasn't been easy. Noticing her misty eyes, Agent Hamill changed the subject.

"Annabel, have you noticed anything weird going on the past week?" Annabel got a thoughtful look on her face but then shook her head.

"Not that I know of." She gave it another second before telling them about the lights. "Lights have been flickering but it is an old hospital, right?" The agents then nodded and began to finish up the questioning.

"Thank you for your time, Annabel. If you can think of anything else, let us know." Agent Banner gave her their card and along with his partner, turned around to leave. Before they could take more than two steps, Annabel spoke up.

"What is the FBI doing looking into a few deaths at a hospital? Last I checked, as morbid as it sounds, isn't it normal for people to die in a hospital?" She knew that the cause of death was weird and was wondering if there was a different reason for the agents to be there. She noticed their expressions and was slightly smug about catching them off guard. The shorter one, Agent Hamill, cleared his throat.

"Just going where the boss sends us. You rest up now." The men left before Annabel could ask anymore questions. When the door closed behind them, Annabel relaxed back into the bed. 'Something weird is definitely going on'. She sat for several minutes before deciding that she needed to go on a walk.

Sam and Dean walked into their motel room and sat their dinner on the table. Sam went into the bathroom to change before eating, while Dean stayed out in the room. When both boys were back in normal clothes they sat at the table and began to discuss the case.

"Sam, I'm not sure this is a case. I mean that girl had a point. What is so strange about a couple of patients dying in a hospital?" Sam agreed with his brother but was hesitant about writing it off.

"Yea, but Bobby wanted us to check this out. He must have thought something was here. Plus, don't you find it a little weird that all three patients died from suffocation?" Dean looked thoughtful for a second.

"Maybe it was an effect of the cancer?" Sam thought of other abnormalities.

"What about the fact that all the patients were on the same floor?" Dean's expression was smug.

"Well, Sammy, they were all cancer patients. It was the cancer floor of the hospital. Effect of the cancer."

"Dude, stop saying cancer like that." Sam thought his brother was sounding a little insensitive. Those people were most likely going to die from their condition and he was throwing the word cancer around so easily.

"Like what? What other word would you like me to use?" Dean didn't understand why Sam was getting offended by the word. Sam let out a sigh before running a hand down his face.

" I don't know. I'm sorry. It's just-seeing that girl, Annabel. I mean she's only a teenager and she won't most likely won't get to live much longer. I think I'm just feeling sorry for her." Dean understood for he felt the same way. They were both in their 30s and their life was constantly being threatened, yet they are going to outlive a girl who won't make it to her 20s. Dean could only hope that whatever was going on in that hospital, that Annabel wouldn't suffer from it. The boys sat to do research to see if they could find anything supernatural with the case. They were researching for about half an hour before Sam's phone went off.

"Hello?" Dean watched his brother's face go from tired to alert. "What? Ok, we will be right there. Thanks for calling." Sam hung up the phone and looked over at his brother. "That was Annabel. There was another death." Dean looked shocked that the girl had called to tell them that. They normally got that kind of call from the local police.

"Another patient?" Sam scrunched his face up.

"No. It was the nurse, Miranda. The one who took us to the patients earlier." Dean again looked shocked and was now confused.

"Died from suffocation?" Sam nodded his head in confirmation. "What the hell is going on? Patients dying is one thing but now a nurse is dead?" Sam gave his brother a grim expression.

"Still think there is no case here?" The boys got their things together and got ready to make another trip to the hospital.
