HA! I TOLD YOU DIDN'T I?! THAT I WOULD BE MORE CONSISTENT! HAHAHA! SORRY! Just had to say it, but anyways like always
I don't own Fairy Tail or Naruto. They belong to Mashima and Kishimoto
Right now, to say Natsu was pissed off, was an understatement. Considering he just found out that the only person he could call family had not told him the truth about his family and their ill intent towards people and magic. The pinkette could not come up with anything as to why his mentor would do such a thing.
While living with the almighty being in his childhood, the elder had always told the child to just cherish his loved ones and value them. Even though it was originally Natsu's goal, it only made it worse that the child has been living a lie the entire time remaining oblivious to the world. The teenager thought that he knew of the world's most menacing things but to find out that they were only a tip of the iceberg was unsettling.
Earlier when Natsu was wanting to get answers from his new sibling, he was put under a genjutsu rivaling the power of the almighty tsukoyomi from the legend Itachi Uchiha. He bared witness to all the years of torture Zeref had gone through and seen the lengths he would go to try and be rid himself of this treacherous world. The black wizard had also told him about the person who gave Zeref his eyes which bewildered Natsu. When the younger individual was free of his relative genjutsu he felt sympathy for him but at the same time he also felt angered by the fact he also hurt/murdered innocent people willingly as well
Even though he was supposedly his blood family, the male also had realized that Fairy Tail was now his new family meaning that blood did not matter anymore. He did not care for blood, but he was now feeling blood thirsty for the one's trying to make an end to the era of magic. Zeref could see in Natsu's eyes were filled a hunger for illegal activity which worried him but at the same time proud because his younger brother was trying to do the world a justice.
"Natsu let me just tell you to not be reckless since I still need you to kill me remember?" Zeref stated as Natsu turned in his direction and just glared at him acting as if he would use his eyes' abilities to kill him right then and there. "Don't treat me like I'm a child bastard! I told you didn't I that I will definitely kill you no matter what!" Natsu yelled still being frustrated from every new piece of information he was receiving.
"Now where to start off on finding those pieces of shit?" The younger individual asked himself as he was hoping to try to find some sort way to track down the new threats. 'Man I wish I was a sensory type!' Natsu thought as he powered into his Six Paths Sage Mode hoping to sense anything from anywhere but it was no use. The teenager powered down and activated his rinnegan hoping to look at anything he would probably only be able to see under special conditions. Although it was minor, the male noticed something particularly off about part of the sky. Although there was not any obvious changes he noticed that there was a different shade in one particular spot.
His train of thought was soon interrupted as a giant hand attempted to get a good hit on him before he gained some distance. "Right in the back? Dick Move Zeref!" The pinkette said hoping the second party would hear him. "Sorry little brother but I told you that you should respect your family." The older male replied as he was surrounded in half a body of a black susano. "You were ignoring me when I was trying to call you and I got fed up when you were not responding."
"Right now it's as if you are in the middle of a desert and wondering where is water, it should be obvious considering it is a desert. You don't know where or if there's even water. That's why I was calling you to give you the information that you need." Zeref continued giving his sibling advice so he would calm down a bit.
Natsu just listened to the info and ways on exactly how to find something probably more rare than a dragon slayer. When he was done talking Natsu knew where he was going to start looking when he would go back to magnolia or when he was alone. "Well Natsu, unfortunately I'll be taking my leave for now so I can relax for some time." Zeref claimed as he then started flying up towards the sky ready to take his leave before the younger man spoke.
"WAIT!" Natsu yelled causing his brother to halt and look towards him. "Leave Fairy Tail out of this, you got that?" He asked towards the flying male who looked surprised not expecting such a response from his brother. "Do not worry, I have no need to cause harm to such a random place, but if it will help you in your conquest to kill me then I will be sure to stay far away or to not have any connection to them." He said accpeting his family's strange request.
"Good luck Natsu, hopefully next time we meet will be when you kill me." He said before he took off leaving Natsu alone for the first time since before he became part of Fairy Tail. Taking the opportunity that was just given to him the male looked back up to where he was looking at and noticed the weird shade of the sky was getting bigger. It was expanding to the point where he was sure surrounded the whole city, maybe even more.
Suddenly something was seen falling from the sky that looked as if it was trying to swallow everything within it's capacity and this made Natsu activate his Perfect Susano wanting to not to take any chance in being caught up in whatever the thing was. Although he could not see what was happening, he could certainly hear minor things from outside his protection which sounded like somebody landing heavily on the ground. That was the only noise he heard for a while which worried him.
He then deactivated his Susano slowly making sure to keep his guard up in case something unexpected would happen and once it was completely gone along with his rinnegan, he then powered up into Sage Mode. When he tried to sense anything odd, a shiver ran up his spine as he was shocked to find out what had happened.
There was nothing to sense, not a single presence could be detected. Probably not even ten minutes ago, the male was probably surrounded by thousands of people over there in the city, but now, he couldn't even detect an ant. He kept looking around hoping that his Sage mode was only playing tricks on him but saw nothing and no one. All he could see was just dead waist land filled with nothing but gravel.
"What is this?" The teenager asked himself as he then started running in whatever direction he was looking at hoping to find civilization. This went for god knows what and it was to no avail and Natsu's horror that he found nothing. Suddenly, the male felt a familiar presence making him go ecstatic since there was a survivor. "This presence... Yeah"
The teen then ran off in the direction of the person's presence hoping to make sure they were okay. Once he arrived at his destination he yelled the name of an old friend. "Igneel! Oi! CAN YOU HEAR ME! ITS ME YOUR OLD FRIEND NATSU!" Natsu yelled to his heart's content as he was happy to see one of the first dragons he ever met but was shocked by what he found instead.
It wasn't a giant fire breathing dragon as he thought, instead it was a guy. A average tall guy with red hair wearing a black cloak having his back turned to Natsu. "So you finally noticed my presence Natsu-kun" The stranger said in a polite tone still not facing the pinkette. "Huh?" He replied in a confused manner not expecting the mysterious person to know or say his name all of a sudden.
"Please forgive me Natsu-kun, I know it's shocking seeing a stranger you have never met suddenly say your name and being in the situation you are in currently." He stated as he then faced Natsu making the boy look into his yellow pupils reminding him of Igneel's gold covered eyes. "Now I know this may sound weird but do please try to be patient with me." He asked as he bowed towards the baffled sage.
"Nice to meet you Natsu-kun, I am the edolas version of your good friend Igneel" The man now known as Igneel said as he smiled in respect to the man who helped out a friend of his. "Igneel and Jellal have told me about you and your dream." His last statement caused the pinkette to look down remembering when he was oblivious to the truth his mentor hid from him. He clenched his fist hoping to calm down trying his best not be angry and just focus on the person in front of him.
"Wait, if you're from Edolas, why are you here?" Natsu asked the redhead as he then held a look of sorrow remembering the reasons why he was in a world where he is a dragon. "Unfortunately, the reason why I'm here is not good young man. The reason why I'm here is to tell you what is happening." He continued "Apparently my world felt two of the most powerful beings, one being yourself, suddenly at one place making them want to use the chance to hopefully take it for their own benefit." Igneel answered his questions as he went on to tell the confused man more info to help him better understand the drastic situation.
"As you can see Natsu-kun, they may not have succeeded in capturing you, but they did succeed in taking all of the magic your world has to offer." Hearing this made the young man's blood boil as he found out that another world just took away all he had. 'Jellal I thought you said you were going to stop them! What are you doing right now?' He thought as he then made a request to the male in front of him.
"Igneel can you take me to your world?" He asked hoping to go to the person that was responsible for the cause of his missing or dead family hoping for the former. "Yes I can my boy, that is the reason why I'm here which was to bring you over hoping for you to put an end to my mad man of a king's evil ways." He said "Are you ready?" He asked waiting for his reply.
"Of course I'm ready, when I go over there, that king will wish he'will never even hear the word magic ever again." He stated as he smirked hoping to vent his frustration which was so big he thought that it was bigger than all of Fiore. The redhead then put his hand on the teen's shoulder as they both then flew up into the only light source in the sky. When they were within arm's reach, Natsu was blinded suddenly as the light abruptly expanded which he didn't expect but his new companion did.
Not feeling blinded anymore, he then opened his eyes and saw a place which was certainly not Earthland. He looked around trying to take in his new environment/world feeling weird. "Sadly Natsu-kun, this is where we part ways for now. I have to go somewhere else to gather intel that will hopefully lead us to victory." He told the pinkette as Natsu just nodded thinking it was better that way. "Got it, but will you join me later as I try to take down your king?" The teen asked his new friend who merely just smiled before he responded.
"Of couse my friend, just be sure when you start fighting them that you save some for me to take down." He requested as Natsu just grinned. "Definitely!" He confirmed as the redhead took off running somewhere. Looking in front of him and seeing floating pieces of land, Natsu just smirked thinking that the king's time is now limited and his fate is decided by the male.
