Chapter 32: Psyqualia
Did I make the same mistake? Kai wondered, exiting the infirmary after Aichi collapsed due to using the 'Psyqualia' ability.
"I take it you're still processing what I showed yesterday." Ami voiced, stopping the brunette in his tracks.
"It is quite hard to believe," Kai admitted. "But since I know about Planet Cray beforehand, it's easier to process what I was shown."
"Then you must understand." Ami stated, her rainbow-colored aura blazing as she turned into her Isis form. "Why it is not in your place to stop this."
"But…" Kai protested.
"You're still my stubborn firebrand." Isis chuckled. "There's little wonder why 'Dragon Overlord' chose you."
"This is definitely not that power." Korin stated, using Jun's card-fighting table to battle Kai. "Why did Sendou Aichi have to get that power? Why did you have him seek out that power when you can't even stop him? Answer me!"
"Yeah, it's my fault." Kai admitted. "I've seen that power before. I couldn't stop him either. No." he corrected. "I didn't know how to stop him. But it might have been a simple thing."
"You said 'a simple thing'?" Korin echoed.
"I could exceed that power." Kai declared. "That's all."
"Do you seriously intend to surpass that power?" Korin questioned. "Can you stop Sendou Aichi?"
"I will stop him." Kai swore.
"I couldn't stop him." Korin confessed, handing Aichi's 'Royal Paladin' deck over to Kai after the card-fight.
"What is that power?" Kai pressed.
"Psyqualia." Isis replied, entering the arena.
"Isis-sama…" Korin gasped.
"Does Suiko know you're here?" the Pillar questioned.
"Well…" Korin had the decency to look sheepish.
"I should have guessed." Isis shook her head.
