Hey guys sorry if this chapter is a little shorter than the others but this is where my chapter felt it needed to end. However I managed to get this up early as I have been ill for two days meaning I was off work and had time to work on this chapter and the next one.

But the next one won't be posted until next Weekend, it still needs touch ups and I have to add bits to make me Happy with it before I post it.

Matthew and Lyra smiled ''Can we open our presents now.''

Hermione chuckled ''Go on then, there in Piles, however I want you to open the presents from some friends and my other friend Becky''

''The one you shared a room with at University'' Matthew asked for confirmation.

''Yep, she got you both a little present, as have Severus, Tonks, and Remus.''

Matthew smiled as he sat down on the floor, near his pile ''Ok then, Ly do you want to go first''

Lyra smiled ''Thank you''

Lyra picked up the first one and read the label ''To Lyra Merry Christmas Severus Snape'' she quickly ripped the wrapping paper off and burst out into a wide smile ''Wow''

Hermione's eyebrows raised to the top of her head in shock ''He got you a first year Starting Potions kit!''

Harry chuckled ''Well he has met them and he clearly knows they are clever and ready for a proper one, and they know not to do it alone.''

Hermione nodded ''I guess, what else''

Lyra grinned and opened the other little one ''I got ingredients, a glass rod and a first year Potions Book'' Lyra said excitedly.

Hermione hummed, it really was thoughtful of him to buy her that, she now had a cauldron, ingredients, a stirring rod and a first year Book that they would use at Hogwarts.

Hermione watched as she opened the others, which included, a voucher for flourish and Bolts, Madam Malkin's, Honey Dukes and a silver heart pendent that had lots of little Green and Red diamonds around the edge of the heart, it was beautiful.

Lyra was happy with her presents but confused ''Mum why have I got vouchers for magical shops?''

Hermione smiled ''All will be explained later, now then Matthew your turn.''

Matthew nodded and opened the one from Becky he smiled when he pulled out a Quidditch Book that had every Professional team he was stunned when he saw lots of signatures on each section that belonged to the team ''Wow''

Harry took the book and whistled ''Wow, Mione Becky has gotten every signature from the teams, you got the Harpies, Bulgaria, Cannons, Kestrels and Ireland, each page of the book is dedicated to each team, it has a huge team picture which they signed and then it tells you bits about them it's the same for each team''

Hermione smiled ''Wow I never expected that, I mean I know her father knows some of the managers but...wow''

Matthew was beaming ''How did she know I liked Quidditch?''

''I told her of course, she knows all about you both''

Matthew nodded and placed the book to the side as he opened up the others he smiled when he saw he had the same as his sister, vouchers and the full Potions set, rods, ingredients and the same book as his sister he was very happy.

''Mummy can we write a letter to thank them all later'' Lyra asked smiling

''I don't see why you can't I'm sure they will appreciate it'' Hermione said smiling she knew the others will have presents for them but most likely give them to the kids when they have their party, ''Right then, you can open the others now''

Lyra nodded ''Let's open Nanny and Granddad's'' Lyra picked up the present and opened it first she smiled as she pulled out a pair of pyjamas from Frozen, books and films ''Thank you Nanny''

Matthew had received some clothes, films, a game and a book ''Cheers''

Helen and Dan smiled and nodded at their grandchildren ''It's ok''

Harry couldn't contain himself ''Mat, open my one first please'' he said as he summoned the broomstick to him as he handed it over to Matthew.

Hermione gasped as she saw the shape of the gift

Matthew furrowed his brow but opened it and jumped up and down ''A Broom I got my very own Broom!'' Matthew said in excitement

Hermione glared at Harry ''HARRY JAMES POTTER YOU GOT HIM A FLAMING BROOM!''

Harry chuckled ''Hang on, it's perfectly safe I paid extra money to have charms and protections added, it's got a gripping charm, a anti hex and jinx spell and a weather protection spell on it, so it's perfectly safe for him as well as a cushion charm.''

He then leaned over and whispered ''I got him the full protection gear for his Birthday as well.''

Hermione was placated a little at that ''Fine, But you are not to use it without Uncle Harry or another Adult Got it!''

Matthew nodded as he looked at the broom in awe ''Wow it even has my name engraved on the side''

Harry smiled ''Sure does, Lyra you next''

Lyra smiled at her brother she knew that he loved brooms and wanted to fly, she liked it but not as much as Matthew she opened her present and was extremely excited as she got up and run to him throwing her arms around his neck ''Thank you, thank you, thank you''

Hermione smiled ''What's he got you love''

Lyra walked over and showed her mother ''Look''

Hermione was stunned there was a picture of a cute chocolate Labrador Puppy, it said I can't wait to meet my new Owner underneath ''Harry you bought her a Puppy!'' Hermione couldn't believe what she was seeing a broom and now a bloody puppy.

Harry smiled ''Well, not just any puppy it's actually a magical one they both wanted a dog and well I thought it would be a nice gift, look how happy she is''

''When can we get him?''

''It's a girl and I was thinking after or before your birthday'' Harry said smiling

Hermione shook her head but she had to admit it was a very thoughtful present and it made Lyra happy she had always wanted a dog ''Yes we'll go get her after your Birthday''

''Awesome'' Lyra was very Happy as she opened the rest, she had got like Matthew some films and books to go with her main present.
