Hey Guys, hope you enjoy this longer chapter, I have finally been able to update, I came away last Saturday the 28th ready for my sisters 4th birthday on Sunday the 29th, and well I'm away until this Saturday the 4th of April so this is the only time i can post for the rest of the week.

I will try and post another chapter when I am home before I go back to work, luckily I got the long weekend off due to the Easter Holidays and Bank Holliday, so hopefully I will have another chapter up before Next Tuesday.

So here we go you guys, hope you enjoy...

Remus shrugged ''I assume around dinner time I'm sure she'll call for us'' Remus then remembered that he wanted to talk to Severus. ''Severus, can I talk to you about something later''

Severus looked up confused ''And what is so important that I should listen to you talk constantly wolf''

Remus shook his head he knew Severus didn't mean it they had become friends during the war ''Just want your opinion on something and to talk to you about the Wolfs bane that's all''

Severus noticed the pleading and seriousness in the Marauders eyes and wondered what could be so important and desperate that he would need to speak to him alone ''Fine we'll talk before we have to put up with the two youngest Weasley's''

Remus nodded ''Thank you Severus'' he said looking him in the eyes carefully, he would tell him about what he had heard and well decided what is to happen after that.

Severus nodded but at the same time wondered what had gotten the wolf all agitated and serious he just carefully looked at the letter again and this time he couldn't help but let the edge of his mouth twitch into a slight smile he also thought about Hermione and the presents she had gotten him.

Why though? I understand the children writing me, but why would Hermione buy me something so beautiful, meaningful...? Maybe it's because she respects you and she sees you as her friend honestly! Shut up I didn't ask your opinion did I! No but I'm your conscience pal and I'm also your reasonable side god knows you would be lost without me. Severus just shook his head at his thoughts and mentally snorted he was arguing with himself.

Remus noticed Severus look to the letter from the children and then to the present from Hermione he noticed the man's lips twitch at the letter and then watched as his brow furrowed followed by a thinking and thoughtful face.

Remus couldn't' help but smirk he knew Severus cared for Hermione more than usual and he suspected that Hermione did to but they were both to stubborn and stupid when it come to emotions and relationships, they may be intelligent but when it comes to other things they are clueless.

Two hours later the clock struck elven thirty when they received a patronus telling them to attend the Burrow because dinner would be ready shortly Remus and Severus told Tonks they would be with her in a moment and to go on and that he just needed to talk real quick

''Oh right ok well don't' be long'' Tonks said sternly ''Because if I have to go and put up with the ginger twit then you do too''

Remus and Severus nodded and watched her floo over to the Burrow before he turned to Severus ''Thank you for staying I wasn't sure what to do or who to tell.''

Severus frowned ''Well spit it out''

Remus took a deep breath ''A few days ago when all this come out about Hermione, you know Ronald and Ginerva had stormed up stairs.''

Severus scowled as he remembered that ''Yes I'm aware''

''Well I was coming from the library when I heard whispering coming from Ginerva's room, she was talking to Ron she was complaining about how Hermione and Harry were to close and that she didn't' like it, Ron moaned about his little hex and the usual when..''

''When what'' Severus said scowling.

''When I heard them begin to plot, honestly Severus I was stunned they were talking about causing a spit between Hermione and Harry by using the kids to achieve it and there emotional states of course, I heard them saying that they had to be nice and that Ron needs to be nice to them again for it to work, and then a privacy spell went up. However I heard most of it anyways, and I don't trust him nor Ginny I don't know what there planning Ginny was talking potions at first and I've been watching her but she hasn't done anything yet and I don't' know it don't like not knowing.''

Severus clenched and unclenched his hands as he thought of the youngest Weasley's ''So what do you expect me to do''

''Well I was hoping you would accidentally slip into his or her mind you know since your are skilled at it'' Remus said feeling a little bad for suggesting something like that ''I mean I know it's wrong to invade someone's mind with out permission and that you only did it to help with the war.''

Remus sighed before continuing ''But I don't want anything to happen to Hermione, the kids nor Harry they deserve to be happy and I haven't seen Harry this happy in a long time I mean he even calls Hermione's parents his mum and dad.''

Severus raised his eyebrow at Remus's suggestion but had to agree with him it was important ''It has credit, and we all know Ronald is useless and won't have an ounce of protection on his mind. Ginerva I'm not to sure about I think she will have some idea and might pick up the sensation, but if any plans have been made then it is going to be mostly Ginerva's ideas as we all know how desperate she is and that Ronald isn't exactly bright.''

Remus snorted and nodded in agreement ''That's and understatement, Sirius hated him and the way he treated Hermione the amount of times I had to stop him hexing Ron it was unbelievable''

Remus said shaking his head ''What do we do when we know the plan do we tell Hermione and Harry do we warn them.?

''No they don't need to know we only tell them as a last resort, I will look into their minds and find out there plan we will then stop them let them know were watching them.''

''Should we tell any one else, like Lucius or Tonks''

Severus was thoughtful for a moment ''There would be no point in telling Lucius as he is at the Ministry working so can't be around to watch constantly, Tonks could be informed I suppose since she will be spending a lot of time with the kids and I think we should inform Albus to cover us should we need any help.''

Remus listened to his reasons and had to agree that Albus should know as should Tonks ''So we tell Albus and Tonks but no one else.''

Severus nodded ''Yes I will slip into their mind whilst were at dinner well attempt to do it, however we will have it done before the children move in.''

Remus sighed and nodded ''I'm glad I'm not alone in this''

Severus nodded ''Indeed now let's go before Tonks comes back angry or Merlin forbid Molly comes for us''

Remus chuckled as he followed Severus towards the fire and flooing to the Burrow.

''Ah Severus, Remus glad you made it'' Arthur said shaking each of their hands

Remus smirked ''Well we received Tonk's patronus and knew that Molly would come looking if we were late'' causing Arthur to chuckle

''Yes, yes I'm sure she would, would you like some tea or coffee''

''Coffee for me please'' Severus said politely

''I'll have a tea'' Remus said smiling as he approached ''Hello all''

Fred looked up and grinned ''About time you guys joined us''

Remus shook his head ''Yes well we had received letters from Hermione's children along with our presents''

George nodded ''Yeah our presents are still under the tree''

''Mum said she would join us in a moment and we could open them. Fred continued

''Mum also want's us to open Mione's presents together, she's a little gutted that she couldn't be here but knows how important it is for her to be at home with her parents'' George said after Fred.

Charley shook his head as did bill ''So what did you guys get from Hermione.''

Tonks smiled ''She gave me a photo frame that had eight different magical and Muggle photo's of my parents and me all at different times, one's I thought were destroyed'' she finished softly.

Remus nodded ''She too got me a photo it was one of me and my parents I was just seven at the time it was before I lost them and was marked by Greyback. She also got me a rare book called the Prince and the Pauper I used to love it as a child and had lost it along with photo's all those years ago.''

''Wow'' Fred began

''That's'' George continued from his brother in shock

''So Mione'' The twins finished in unison

Arthur was surprised but nodded ''Yes Hermione has always been thoughtful and well if anyone would be able to find something that was supposedly destroyed then it would be her'' which caused everyone else to laugh all except Ginny and Ron of course.

Molly had heard what Hermione had gotten for Tonks and Remus and agreed with her husband Hermione was one special person ''So Severus what did you get.''

Severus looked up ''Oh she got me a set of rare crystal vials with matching rods including a new Mortar and Pestle grinder I was in need of a new one.''

Molly smiled ''That's lovely dear'' she looked at her family and smiled ''Now then come on then you can open up your presents''

Bill looked at the presents and spotted ones with their parents names on ''Mum, Dad her's ones for you from Hermione and Harry that's what the label says anyway''

Molly looked surprised ''Oh the dear girl''

Arthur smiled ''Go on then Molly open it''

Molly smiled and opened the big box she was shocked and wasn't' quite sure what it was ''Oh''

Severus was surprised and answered Molly ''It's a sewing machine in other words a knitting machine, just more advanced which means you can make bigger things.''

Molly looked down and spotted about twenty different coloured wool and then saw the letter and picked it up and began to read

Merry Christmas

I hope you like your present, I know you love knitting and well I thought this would be great for you that way you can create more clothing and other things, like quilts, blankets, clothes and pillows.

I have charmed it so that all you have to do is load up the wool and fabric that you want to use then picture what you want it to look like and pull the memory from your mind loading it into the hole above the needle and it will do all the work for you, then all you have to do is flip the switch to on and it will do what you vision.

And then flip the switch to the off button to turn the machine off, I'm sure Severus or someone else can show you how to get it working.

Hermione and the Twins

Molly looked up surprised and had tears in her eyes as she thought of all the things she could create ''Oh Arthur''

Arthur nodded ''Yes love I know''

Molly looked at Severus ''Do you know what she means by a switch?''

Severus nodded ''I do indeed and I would be happy to show you what she meant and how to add the cotton, wool or fabric you wish to use.''

''Thank you Severus'' Molly placed her present on the floor careful she was amazed and excited with her present

''Dad here's your one''

Arthur opened the wrapping paper and smiled ''Cool''

Fred looked confused ''What's she got you''

''A tool Box, I remember Hermione's Father talking about them once and Hermione have shown me how they work, I have also seen them due to my job''

Remus nodded ''Very nice, looks like you got the full gear there Arthur''

Arthur smiled as his letter pretty much said the same thing, wishing him a happy Christmas.

''There's one more and it's addressed for both of you, and it's from both Hermione and Harry'' Bill said handing them an envelope

Arthur turned to his wife ''You open it''

Molly nodded and opened up the envelope and gasped in shock as tears streamed from her face ''Oh how could they.''

Arthur was confused ''What is it'' he took the envelope she was holding and was joining his wife moments later ''Merlin''

''What is it?'' Bill asked concerned

Arthur just handed it to his son he was still in shock that they would do something like that for him and his wife as he thought about Harry and Hermione, he remembered a few nights a go. And that is what had made him angry since he considered Harry and Hermione as one of his own children.

Only to then watch Ron's reactions about Hermione's whole situation made him severely disappointed, he was only glad they were making a go of a relationship, he wasn't stupid he knew Harry still hadn't forgiven Ron.

Bill looked and gave a whistle ''Whoa, Harry and Hermione have paid for Mum and Dad to go to America to the Wizarding part for a week long holiday, they do trips apparently when they take witches and wizards into the Muggle part of America so they can experience different stuff, it's perfect for them both, Dad will enjoy the Muggle side as will mum, but mum will also get to relax and enjoy the weather and just be able to relax''

Charley couldn't help it and smiled ''When's the trip for? and how are they getting there?''

''by something called an Aeroplane, apparently It's safe and she knows the person who will be flying it she says he is part of the government that knows of our world, I don't know.'' Bill said looking at his siblings ''They leave a few days after Hermione's children's birthdays.''

Fred, George and the others looked shocked and stunned ''Wow''

Molly nodded ''Yes I know, I can't wait to see them to thank them, this must have cost a fortune.''

Arthur nodded ''We'll thank Harry and Hermione when we see them next, now why don't' everyone open there presents''

Fred and George both got a voucher for the Apothery so they could buy any ingredients, cauldrons or viles they may need as well as a year supply voucher or Honeydukes.

Bill had also received a voucher for honey dukes and dragon hide wallet he also noticed that charley had received the same including a wallet like him.

Fred looked down and shook his head as he pulled two presents out that had Ron and Ginny written on them ''Oi there's one for you Gin and Ron though I don't think you deserve a present after being such a git to Hermione but well obviously she wanted you to have one regardless of how you treated her.'' he said looking at Ron with narrowed eyes.

''I agree brother after the way he treated Hermione'' George continued

''But it just goes to show'' Fred started

''How wonderful'' George continued while glaring

''Amazing'' George said through narrowed eyes as he to looked at Ron

''Mione can be'' the twins finished in unison.

Ron looked at them sheepish but still mad that Fred and George are treating him the way they were. He thought he had done nothing wrong and it was only fair that he got a present.

Ginny felt shamed a little at how she was acting about Hermione but she couldn't' help but resent her closeness with Harry she wanted him she belonged with him and while Hermione was around him and with those kids she didn't stand a chance.

So Ginny accepted the present anyway and opened it smiling trying to cover her emotions she was surprised when she received a voucher to visit the clothes shops in Hogsmead and Diagon Ally she could never afford this amount of money and she instantly felt a little guilty but she soon pushed that feeling aside as she thought of Harry.

''I'll have to thank her when I see her, she got me vouchers so I can get clothes.'' Ginny said looking at everyone.

Molly smiled and looked at Ron ''What did Hermione get you Ron'' Molly was still angry with the way Ron had treated Hermione even I they had made friends again

Ron looked down sheepishly ''Er she got me a Chudley cannons poster and had it signed by all the players. She left a note saying she had that girl at uni get it signed apparently her father knows the coach according to the note she wrote me.''

Ron felt his face colour a little in embarrassment as he could still feel the glare that the twins were shooting at him.

Molly sighed as she saw how uncomfortable Ron was ''Fred, George that's enough he's apologised and Hermione has accepted, let's just have a good Christmas ok'' with that Molly got up and headed to the kitchen shouting at them ''Dinner will be ready in ten.''

Arthur nodded and picked up his tool box and began to look through it, whilst everyone else continued as they were.

Severus and Remus were standing there watching the whole thing play out with their tea and coffee and Severus had to admit that something was up when he spotted Ginny's face scowl at the mention of Harry and Hermione.

Especially when it come to a joint present from them to her parents he also saw the anger Ron had when the twins spoke about her.

With that knowledge he turned to Remus and nodded his head letting him know that he to thought they were up to something and that he would look as soon as he can.
