Hey Guys, hope you enjoy this chapter, I know It's been a while but I have had to write a few more chapters, and well I'm still writing some but I didn't want to keep you all waiting for ever

Now on with the story...

An hour later saw the family relaxing in front of the TV and watching Mouse hunt, Hermione couldn't help but wonder how Remus, Tonks and Severus were getting on she had written a quick letter to Becky when Callum was talking with her Grandmother and was waiting for a reply she knew that by now Becky will have had a few drinks and probably wouldn't' write until tomorrow.

Hermione looked around when she heard everyone laugh she smiled she was with everyone she loved yes it would be better if the entire family were together but she had her twins and her Grandparents along with Harry and her parents she couldn't' help be thankful and grateful she knew things could have had a different turn out had they not won the war, she may regret not being around for her children but she found that she couldn't really complain for had she not fought this family time may never have happened.

Although she knew one thing she would do more and spend time with her kids she was going to enjoy every moment with them and continue to be thankful that the luck had been with them despite all the people they lost, when she thought of some family's who lost everyone and everything she knew she was lucky and decided that Harry and her Grandfather were right she would just have to wait and see and make the best of the whole situation.

Harry had noticed Hermione looking around thoughtful and was pleased to see the resolved look in her face he knew that this was her accepting things as they were he could only hope that she would allow herself to enjoy being with the kids more.

Hermione looked to over to the right when she felt eyes on her and smiled when she met Harry's green ones she just nodded at him slightly she knew he was worried about her, he truly was a brilliant person she really did love him she wasn't sure how she would have coped through the entire war without him. She looked down when she felt a person settle into her side and smiled when she saw Matthew slide underneath her arm to rest his head on her side while Lyra did the same on her left, yes this was perfect.

Harry looked and saw the kids snuggle into Hermione and saw her content smile and felt himself smiling back it made his heart swell when he saw his sister and his Godchildren like that, he knew that Matthew was a Mummy's boy not that he would admit it to many people only family but he could see it clear as day he was all his mum, Lyra was close to her mother also but not as much as Matthew unless she was feeling unwell then she was all her mum and she was the only person she wanted.

He couldn't help but wonder what Hermione's friend Becky was up to, ever since he met her she had been in his thoughts now and again he didn't know why but he couldn't help but wonder he also wondered about Ron he just didn't believe that Ron wasn't up to anything he wanted to believe him but he just couldn't' he had lost his trust fourth year when he walked away and accused him of wanting glory let alone abandoning them but he would do it for Hermione's sake but god help him if he hurts her or the kids he would be asking for death.

Hermione looked over and saw Harry frowning and knew he was deep in thought and wondered if he was thinking about Ron she wasn't stupid she knew Harry had never really forgiven him for their fourth year even if he acted like he had and to be honest she hadn't either especially when he abandoned them, but she felt like she should give him another chance but she knew Harry didn't believe Ron was truly sorry no matter what she said she just shook her head and turned back to the film, she noticed that it was five o' clock they had the doctors the day after tomorrow.

An hour later the film had finished and Hermione decided it was time for them to have a bath ''Right bath time, who's going first?''

Lyra looked up ''I'll go first mummy''

Hermione looked at Lyra and saw her eyes had dark circles under them and knew she was starting to get tired she was also due her potions soon ''OK Princess, why don't you go and pick some pyjamas out that you want to wear''

She then looked at her son ''You to Matthew, go and choose what you want to wear you can go after your sister'' she knew he was tired as well it had been a long day and they had been up very early.

Matthew and Lyra both went and did what their mother asked them to.

Hermione looked at her Grandparents and parents ''So when are you off home?''

Brian and Elaine smiled at Hermione ''We're going home tomorrow morning''

Hermione smiled ''Oh that's OK then at least we get to see you before you leave, anyway I'm off to get Lyra's bath ready, Harry you coming up?''

Harry grinned ''Sure I'll chill with Matthew until it's his turn''

Hermione smiled and nodded ''I'll see you guys in a bit''

''OK pumpkin take your time'' Helen said smiling at her daughter

Hermione nodded and headed up the stairs Harry following close by she wanted the kids bathed and settled down, she would let them watch a film or something until it was time to sleep she had sent there things to their rooms and in the appropriate place earlier she never usually used her wandless as she didn't' want it to be common knowledge as she knew that it was the best way to surprise any enemies that may be out to harm them.

Hermione walked into the toilet and began running the bath she placed some bubble bath in for them and left to go get Lyra she couldn't' help but smile she loved magic it made things easier sometimes ''Ly, your bath's ready''

Lyra turned around and smiled ''OK'' and followed her mother out of her room and towards the toilet she allowed her mother to help her take her clothes off as she was too tired to do it herself and climbed into the warm bath

Hermione smiled at her daughter ''Head back'' Hermione wet her daughter's hair before using the kids' strawberry and apple shampoo and conditioner and slowly began to lather up her daughters curls ''Are you happy with your presents''

''Yes I loved them all, thank you for my presents mum''

''It's OK sweetheart Father Christmas knew what you wanted so I left the mony out with your letter for him to take and buy you what he thought you deserved''

She had to change the story of Santa Claus a bit as they were older they were asking more questions so the new thing was that she left the money out so Santa could buy the presents he wanted to if he decided that you'd been good or not and for the time being it was working.

''Mum do we have to go to the doctors I don't' like going''

Hermione sighed ''Yes princess you do but this might be the last one for a while anyway as mummy is thinking of letting you take potions instead''

''So I wont' have to have needles any more and I won't have to stay in over night at the hospital any more'' she asked hopefully

Hermione smiled ''Possibly I don't' know yet depends on what Doctor Vaughan has to say, any way head back so I can get the shampoo out''

Lyra held her head back and allowed her mother to rinse the shampoo from her hair she smiled when she felt her mothers magic wash over he and knew her hair had been put up in a bun so it wouldn't get any soap on it when she washed her body.

Hermione handed Lyra her scrunchy and body wash and allowed her daughter to wash herself ''I'm just going to get your potions OK''

''OK mummy''

Hermione knew Lyra was fine washing herself she cast a ward around the bath anyway so that she couldn't' drown including an anti slip charm on the bath before summoning her potions and heading to her daughters room, she walked over and pulled the curtains shut and pulled the quilt down and cast a warming charm on her bed so she could get into a nice warm bed before grabbing her pyjamas and heading back to the toilet.

''OK time to get out'' Hermione grabbed the towel and wrapped it around her daughter before lifting her out of the bath and placing her on the ground she began to towel dry her body she would use her wandless to dry her daughter's hair besides she had to put on the anti detangling spray before she brushed her daughter's hair, she was glad that her daughter had smoother and more manageable curls than she ever had.

An hour later saw both kids bathed, dressed and playing in Matthew's room Hermione walked along and smiled ''Come on, time for bed you two, it's been a busy day, Ly go and get into bed'' Hermione smiled when Lyra left the room she walked over and shut his curtains before heading back over ''Right what film do you want to watch''

''Jurassic park''

''Again?''

''It's a good film'' came Matthews reply

Hermione chuckled and agreed she loved Jurassic park as well she placed the film in and tucked him in before leaving to check on her daughter.

''Mum can I watch Frozen''

Hermione groaned but put the film in she walked back over and kissed her forehead ''How are you feeling now''

''Better, I got a bit of a headache''

Hermione sighed ''I'm sorry princess there's nothing I can do, the potions your on won't react well with a headache one''

''It's OK mummy I'm used to it''

Hermione felt her eyes prickle a bit ''Yeah I know, your my big brave girl, good night princess I love you''

''Love you too Mummy''

Hermione quickly left the room as the tears began to fall and bumped into Harry

''Hey, hey what's wrong'' Harry asked as he pulled her into his arms

''It's not fair, Ly has a headache and I can't' give her anything for it because of the other potions and she told me that it was fine because she's used to it! She shouldn't' be used to the pain Harry my baby girl shouldn't have to get used to it''

''I know, shh it's OK we'll get through this we'll see what the doctor suggests and until then lets' give the kids the best Christmas ever.''

''Yeah, your right I know, come on let's go down stairs'' Hermione nodded and walked down the stairs she would see that her babies had a good Christmas and that's how the last few days. went.
