Hi guys, there were some questions about last chapter and I agree, it didn't make much sense. I just needed to squeeze the word thanks in there and be done with it. So now, not every chapter will have the word thanks at the end. If it makes sense then yes, but if I'm just trying to write some random scene, I'm not gonna do it. Also, I wanted to have the same relationships that there are in the books. I still wanted Grover and Percy to be good friends and all. This story is sorta sad on Annabeth's part, but I hope you enjoy.

Disclaimer: when I turn into a boy, I'll let you know.

Percy pushes Bianca back up.

They all look up at the cabin. It was a very bright shade of pink but the painting was lazy. The roof was embed with flowers and someone had taken out a huge chunk out of the side of the cabin.

Percy growls and looks around, "Who did this?" He demands.

The three of them hear whispering and all at the same time they inflict their powers on that person. Percy sent an earthquake in that direction while skeletons of shoulders rose from the ground curtiosy of Nico. Bianca had powers varying from Nico. She sent shadows forward to capture the person.

They all exchange glances, not quite angry anymore, but concerned because they knew they could've killed that person. Nico motions for the skeletons to bring them forward out of the shadows. Three people, two boys and a girl are brought out struggling against their reinforcements. Percy narrows his eyes.

"What do you think you're doing?" He begins to pace. "Oh, when my dad finds out what you did to his cabin you're going to get it so bad-"

The girl looks up, "we didn't do it!"

"Then why are you here?" Bianca demands.

One of the boys-the one with red hair-gulps. "We just saw it and began to laugh."

Percy looks at his cousins. Bianca's jaw sets and Nico glances from the three campers, to Percy, to the campers and back at Percy.

Nico opens his mouth, "we could-"

But he's cut off by a high-pitched scream. Nico loses his concentration and the skeletons drop the kids. Another scream shatters the momentary silence. It came from the Athena cabin.

Percy, Nico, Bianca and the campers are all silent for a few seconds.

Suddenly, they all bolt towards the Athena cabin. Percy is about to open the door, but he was pushed down by several campers dashing out the door, including Annabeth.

"What?! What?!" Percy yelled through all the chaos.

"S-s-spider!" She choked out.

Annabeth's friend, Juliette, nods. "It was a whole spider sack and millions-okay, thousands of tiny spiders crawled out." She shudders.

Bianca frowns, "Athena would never let that happen." Percy stands up slowly.

Annabeth nods, "I don't know. Things happen, but until our cabin is taken care of by a professional exterminator, I'm not going in."

Percy opens his mouth, "but-"

Annabeth's glare cuts him off. Juliette glances behind her. "I'm gonna go see what Chiron's saying." Then she jogs off.

And for a few seconds, it's peaceful.

Till Percy smiles. They all knew that smile, it became legendary over the past two years. He would grin mischievously like a Hermes kid and glance around. It was the smile that Percy wanted to do something. Something that'll get him in trouble.

"No," Annabeth puts her foot down.

"Yes," Nico grins.

Bianca shrugs.

Annabeth sighs, "fine."

Percy looks at Nico, "will you do the honours, little cousin?"

"Gladly," Nico sneaks up to the Athena cabin, opens the door and jumps in.

Percy jumps in after. Bianca's about to follow when Annabeth grabs her arm. "Could you stay?"

"I-" Bianca gets tugged into the Athena cabin.

Nico and Percy let go of her arms.

Percy smirks, "we totally saved you."

"What?" Bianca frowns. "I wouldn't have minded staying out there with Annabeth."

"Then go back out," Percy shrugs.

Bianca looks up at Percy on her spot on the floor. "No thanks."

Percy smirks.

Bianca stands up slowly, and looks around. "Is it just me, or there aren't any spiders?"

Nico frowns, "that's weird."

The lights go out and the blinds close. Bianca's shaky voice occupies the air, "If this is a trick...Nico? Percy?"

"Here!" Two voices say together.

"What's going on?" Nico demands, but there's a hint of fear in his voice.

"Nico, don't be scared," Percy says.

"I'm not scared!" Nico insists.

Bang!

They all scream. "Now I'm scared!"

"It's okay," Bianca reassures. "Just-" Bang!

"Bianca?" Percy calls. "Bianca!"

Nico whimpers, "Bianca?"

Percy try's to peer through the darkness, "Bia-" Bang!

"Percy!" Nico calls. "Perce? Percy!" Bang!

Nico's pulled into a dream. Nope, this is not a dream. Around him are dirt walls. He was in some sort of tunnel. Nico tried to turn his head but he couldn't. He was restrained on an itchy, wooden chair on his legs, arms, hands and neck. "What the...?"

Nico averted his eyes to the left till they hurt. He saw Percy knocked out next to him, drooling. On his right, a girl with spiked black hair with blue streaks and black clothes. Nico frowned. Where was Bianca? He had realized they were all on chairs in a circle like musical chairs. Maybe Bianca was across from him?

The girl stirred, she slowly sat up and blinked. "What?" She croaked.

Her eyes landed on Nico. Nico shrugged at her than began to struggle at his chains. If he could just get to his sword...he pushed his hand farther into his chains. Nico clenched his teeth to prevent yelping. The metal chains scraped his skin and his fingers brushed the hilt of his sword.

"Come on Nico, you got this."

Nico glanced at Percy who was watching him. Nico somewhat nodded with a new found confidence. He dug his arm in further, ignoring the aching pain traveling up his arm. His thumb and index finger slid the sword up.

"Nico?"

Nico dropped the sword at Bianca's voice. He growled, "Dam-"

"Language!"

"Shut up, Bianca!" Nico screamed.

Percy sighed, "you know Bianca, if you hadn't interrupted-"

"What?! I was just making sure Nico was okay!"

"I don't need you to make sure I'm okay!"

"He almost had it!"

"I don't care!"

"You ruined our chances!"

"If you hadn't had talked, we'd be out of here!"

"Like your puny sword would've made a dent anyways! Have you looked at this metal? It's diamond! Nothing cuts diamond, but diamond!"

"Who the Hades uses diamond chains?! That's stupid!"

"SHUT UP!" A new voice yells.

Nico looks at the girl with the streaks. She looked familiar now that Nico really looked at her.

"Okay. Now, what's-her-face is right. This is diamond. Diamond is the most durable jewel out there. Nothing can cut a diamond, but another diamond. So-"

"Hold on a second!" Percy says. "What ever happened to 'hi, my name is..."

"Yeah," Nico nods. "I'll start. Hi, my name is Nico and I'm a son of Hades."

Percy nods and turns to Bianca. "Hi, my name is Bianca-"

"What a girly name," the other girl snorts.

"-and I'm a daughter of Hades."

"Hi, I'm Percy and I'm a son of Poseidon."

The girl sighs, "alright. Hi, my name is Thalia and I'm a daughter of Zeus."

Percy rolls his eyes, "It's always the Big 3 kids, isn't it?"

They sat in a pregnant silence for a while, silently agreeing with Percy.

"Percy, rub your hand chains with mine," Bianca suggests. "We can get out by having our chains cut each other."

"Good idea, B," Thalia says. "Now let's watch it fail."

"You're optimistic," Percy mumbles, rubbing his chains with Bianca's.

After what felt like fifteen minutes the chains fell. Bianca smirked, examining her red arms. "How's that for failure, T?"

"Yeah, whatever," mumbled Thalia. She began to rub her chains with Nico while Bianca and Percy rubbed their feet chains.

Once Nico and Thalia had finished their feet chains Bianca stood up and stretched.

"Let's go," she yawned.

Percy tentatively touches his neck. "Our necks..."

"We don't have time." Bianca insisted. "There could be monsters, spiders-spiders! Remember, we were in the Athena cabin when we got knocked out...by spiders."

Thalia snorts, "you got knocked out by spiders?"

"How'd you get down here anyways?" Bianca snaps.

Thalia shrugged, "I sunk farther down under my tree. Ooooh, we're under my tree!"

"Your tree?" Percy stood up.

"I'm assuming you go to camp, right?" At their nods, Thalia continued. "Well, that big tree you had to cross, Thalia's Pine. That's my tree." She points to herself.

Nico squints his eyes, "I knew you looked familiar! You got older!"

Thalia frowns, "I don't know how old I am."

Then there was a random silence.

"Um," Thalia shuffled her feet. "Luke? Whatever happened to Luke?"

Percy's face immediately darkened. His bright green hues turned to dark, scary green. He pursed his lips. "He's evil."

Thalia raises a brow, "evil?"

Percy growls, "last year Annabeth, Grover and I went on a quest because I had to find your fathers stupid bolt and your fathers," he pointed to Nico and Bianca, "stupid helm just to get in a fight with Ares and have Luke almost kill me with that scorpion. I didn't steal it but Hades sent those ladies after me anyways."

"But where's Luke?" Thalia demanded.

Nico frowned, "I don't know. With the others, probably. But I've learned names have power so I won't say it out loud, but...yeah."

Bianca shrugs, "c'mon, this way." She walks down a tunnel with the others on her heels. She made several turns and almost bumped into a wall twice.

"Where are all the monsters?" Thalia whined. "I need some action!"

"No! Don't jinx it. We don't need monsters," Percy reassured.

"Hey!" Thalia had stopped.

The other three looked back at her. She seemed to be stuck behind an invisible wall. "What?" She slammed her fist on the wall.

Percy ran back but he couldn't get through.

"I-I can't leave. My life force is tied to that tree. That stupid tree!" Thalia slammed her fist on the wall again.

"That tree saved your life! Be grateful, daughter of Zeus."

Thalia turned on her heel to the spirit behind her.

"Don't you think I know that?" Thalia hissed.

"Don't have that tone with me!"

Thalia groans and turns back to the other children of the Big 3. "Could you just say there for like twenty minutes? I'll just be right back."

Percy nods, and smiles weakly, "yeah, yeah okay, sure."

Thalia smiles gratefully and runs back down a tunnel past the angry spirit.

Percy leans against a wall tapping his foot. A blood-curdling scream disturbs the peace. Bianca gasps, "Thalia!"

Percy stares blankly ahead, "she jinxed it."

Percy shakes his head and rushes to the wall with the others. They began to slam it desperately.

Percy shoves his side onto it several times, "Nico." He said between slams. "Send. Some. Skeletons."

Nico nods and concentrates trying to get skeletons rise. Another scream makes him lose his focus. "Try again!" Bianca demands. Then she glares at the spirit. "Won't you go help her?"

The spirit crosses her arms, "she was disrespectful and rude and-"

"I swear to all the gods, if you don't do something-" Percy is cut off by the mortified spirit.

"You'll what?" She snaps. "What will you do, huh? Even if I wanted to help her, do you think I could? Thalia is a daughter of Zeus. She can hold her own ground. I can't do a thing to help her against them but, she will live. I know that much. Happy?"

Percy and the spirit have a stare off till Percy looks down, "I'm sorry-I just hate it when I can't help a friend."

The spirit snorts, "oh, I know. That whole loyalty thing is gonna kill you one day. You've got to understand that you can't save everyone."

Her words were like hot venom to Percy's body. It made him tremble and twitch when in his head he knew it was true, but in his heart, he couldn't stand it.

Annabeth watched as Bianca disappeared from her grasp into the dark cabin. Her hand wavered where Bianca's arm had been. She blinked back tears as she lowered her hand. The song All By Myself momentarily played through her head.

Chiron trotted over to her. Annabeth looked up at his large brown eyes. "If I'm in your way, sir-"

"No, no. And sir? No, call me Chiron," the centaur insisted.

"Yes sir...I mean Chiron."

The centaur chuckled softly. Annabeth stared at him. He seemed so gentle, but Annabeth had a bad experience with horses. Her dad had taken her to her aunts ranch where she was placed atop of her favourite horse Honey. A golden horse with a white mane and tail. Annabeth had loved it and it practically became hers for a year. But one day Annabeth was walking around with Honey when the horse simply collapsed. Annabeth ran in sheer terror back to her aunt and father and later the horse was declared dead. She had cried for days, and it made it worse that they didn't know how the horse had died for sure. About three months later, Annabeth finally decided to go back. She was being shown a newborn horse, when the mother had freaked for no apparent reason and kicked Annabeth in the chest. She had flown back seven feet and landed hard on her right arm. Broken ribs. Broken arm. And that had settled why she did not associate with horses.

Annabeth looked away from Chiron and squinted in the direction of Thalia's Pine. Annabeth had to force back more tears. Thalia died and it was her fault. Honey died and it was her fault. Murderer. The words ripped her heart apart. She was a murderer to not only monsters that she automatically declared on the bad side, but animals and people she loved, that she could've saved. Annabeth Chase was a murderer.

Percy dragged his body along with his feet behind his younger cousins. His bronze sword let off a faint glow in the dark caves allowing them to see a bit more. Bianca and Nico's swords would've done no good in providing light, they were made of Stygian after all.

"Percy, don't do that," Nico said waiting for Percy to catch up so they could walk side-by-side.

"Yeah," Bianca said, looking back. "She's still alive, okay?"

"Yeah," Percy mumbled, half-hartedly. "Yeah, okay."

"Want a hug?" Bianca smiles cheekily.

"No."

Bianca stops and wraps her arms around her cousin. They were all gross and sweaty, but it still felt good.

"Thanks."
