Hi H~! I decided to make this in my spare time cause it's fun! So read, read, read!

Shyvana wok up slowly and looked out the window. The sun's already up huh? She thought to herself, rubbing her bleary eyes as her eyes went to the clock. 8 am. She went into the bathroom and into the shower, leaving her armor on the bed. She made the water, what would have been burning hot to humans, just right for her as she showered.

Didn't he say he was taking me to the Institute today? She thought to herself, remembering their conversation. At least there might be something to entertain her there.

She left the bathroom with a towel wrapped around her, and blinked at what was on the bed with a note on top. She picked up the note and read it.

Since you don't have any clothes of your own, or at least I'm assuming so since you had nothing with you besides your armor, here are some for you to wear as we go to the institute. If you wish, you can wear your armor underneath it, but it's so you don't scare the people. Meet me in the throne room when you're ready to leave.

-Jarvan IV

She looked at the clothes and picked them up. It was a black shirt with flames on it and a pair of black jeans. She looked at them and tried them on with her armor off. It was a perfect fit. There was also some underwear as well, so she had to change again so that she could wear all of it at once.

She headed out of her room to the throne room, and knocked on the door.

"You may enter," a voice said. She opened it and saw Jarvan and the King there, each on a throne. Although the king's was bigger, as it was customary.

"Hello my lords," she said, getting on one knee. She looked up at Jarvan. "Is it time or am I early?"

"You are on time Shyvana," Jarvan said as he stood up. "I'm going to show her around the Institute today."

"Okay, sounds good, Lady Shyvana," she growled softly at this. "Please wait outside."

As soon as she was gone, he looked at his son and winked. "She's quite beautiful is she not?"

Jarvan just sighed at his father's antics. "Of course you would say that. I'll be back later father," he said as he left the throne room and saw Shyvana leaning against a wall by the door, waiting for him.

"What did your father want?" she asked, curious.

"Nothing much, so, shall we go?"
"Mhmm," she said, turning around and heading down the hall.

"Um… Shyvana?" Jarvan said, standing at an intersection she had passed.

"Yes?"

"…The teleportation room is this way," he said, pointing to his right.

A flustered Shyvana stormed back. "I know it is! I was testing you that's all!"

"Of course you were," he said, laughing softly as she stormed down the hall.

They stood in front of two large crystals, a swirling, blue mist in the center.

"This is a teleported," Jarvan explained as he walked around it. "Honestly, the science of it escapes me, but my people tell me it's safe and works properly." He pointed to a set of oak doors. "On week days, this is open to the public so that they can travel to and from the Institute to anywhere in the world. Otherwise, personal use of the royals, and their friends and soldiers of course." He handed her a keycard. "Which you, are now a proud part of."

She took the keycard and stashed it in her pocket. "Okay, so we just…step into it right?"

"Yeah, I think it's set correctly, hey!" He called out to the two other people in there, working on a machine. "Is it ready to be used yet? Has it been set up?"

"Yes sir, it has been set to the coordinates of the Institute's teleporter. You and…um…the lady may take it..." The man seemed confused as to what to call Shyvana.

She stormed over and grabbed the frightened man by his collar, lifting him up. "My name is Shyvana! Call me by it!"

"Y-y-yes lady Shyvana!" He squeaked out, his eyes wide with fear.

"I said Shyvana! There is no lady there!"

"Y-y-yes Shyvana," he whimpered.

Jarvan came over and grabbed her arm, telling her to let go of him. She obeyed and glared at him. "He is one of my subjects. I can't allow you to harm him like that," Jarvan just stated, walking over to the teleporter.

"Hmph, fine." She followed suit, and as soon as he walked through, she followed after him.

Her body felt tingly as she walked through, closing her eyes as a bright light enveloped her. She stumbled out the other end and nearly crashed into Jarvan, who had expertly side stepped her and held onto her shoulder so she wouldn't fall.

"You okay? It's always a bit odd going through it your first time, so I~"

She pushed him away and stood up herself. "I'm fine, see? I don't need your help with walking."

He chuckled and just nodded. "If you say so. Now, c'mon, I'm going to have to do my matches soon at 10, and it's 9. Until then, I can show you around. Don't mind the other champions though, we're all a bit…odd here."

"Champions?" she asked as she followed him from the teleporters at the Institute. They were located in a large marble building with marble columns in the front, and illuminated by crystals.

"Champions. It's what the people from Earth, Summoners, and others from the Institute call us," he explained as they walked down a paved path with trees and shrubbery around them, as if it was a park of some sort. In the distance, a fountain could be seen, as well as a grassy hill with a lone tree on top.

In front of them however was the building of the Institute. 5 stories tall with marble columns in the front, teeming with people from all the different cities, it seemed like something amazing from a fairytale. Even Shyvana was impressed, and was staring at it so intently Jarvan had to snap his fingers in her face to get her attention.

"Hello? Earth to Shyvana? Did you hear what I said?"

"Hm? Yes…I did…what's Earth and what are summoners?" she asked, still focused on the building in front of her.

"Summoners are people who use us as we battle, they are kind of like our controllers, actually, that's exactly what they are."

"Controllers how?"

"Well, we fight on several different arenas. They used to be used for settling disputes, and still are, but they're mainly entertainment. Have you never seen the streamed matches on TV?"

"No, never had time to watch TV. Too busy running."

"Oh…um…well… Earth is another world like ours but they have no magic. We're linked by a few teleporters and the internet. They also have computers that link us together, and they freely can do so whenever this wish."

"Oh…neat…" she mumbled, still staring at the building. She then felt someone push her from behind, Jarvan was doing so.

"C'mon get going, there's more inside to show."

"Wha-? Hey!" She pushed herself off his hand and glared at him before walking forwards. He just grinned and followed her, jogging so he could lead the way.

The summoners that milled around the front grew excited as Jarvan came forward, handing him papers and pens which he signed, even some small action figures. Shyvana just watched and snickered at his discomfort, before he finally pushed through the crowd with her in tow.

He pointed to the left. "There's a gift shop for any of the summoners who want something to take home after playing a game." He pointed to the right. "There's a bathroom if you need it, and," he pointed forward. "That's the reception desk if you need help or need to get in or anything." He began walking forward, so she followed suit.

The receptionist smiled and looked up. "Oh, hello Mr. Jarvan the Forth, and um…I'm afraid I don't know who your friend is. Is she joining the League?"

"Maybe, but not right now. Regardless, am I allowed to take her on a tour of the place?"

"Of course, friends of champions are always welcome." She hit a button printed out a plastic card. "Here you go hon, it lets you get a free meal and access to anywhere these guys do. Basically, everything besides the maintenance rooms."

She took the plastic card and nodded, following Jarvan as he went down a hall. He pointed to the right when they came to a main intersection of the Institute, summoners milling about with large screens showing live matches all around them. "That hall leads to the library, cafeteria, and to a small plaza we have that's mainly used for eating. We also have some small celebrations there too. Silly things, mainly, but also something from each culture. Halloween, Valentine's, Christmas, even Saint Patrick's day are all celebrated here, more or less."

"More or less?"

"Yeah, well, I mean we celebrate them at home as well. Normal stuff."

"I guess so," Shyvana said with a shrug. She didn't celebrate holidays often, if ever. Running from dragons tends to fill up your schedule.

"Anyway, the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th floors are dorms for champions who stay here, and the 5th floor is the administrative offices, and the basement is where most of the tech is, so we don't tend to go to those places that often. Unless you're Heimerdinger."

"Isn't he the inventor?" Shyvana asked. Even she had heard of some of the tech advancements he had given.

"Yup, so anyway," he pointed in the other direction, to the right. "There's a ballroom down there, and some workshops, mainly belonging to those who like building stuff. There's also a large atrium there. The medical ward is there as well, and in front of us is the teleporting station. All Champions gather here every day, and we get teleported into ranked matches at random, based on our popularity and who wants us, when. We even get paid for it, a nice solid salary of a million gold a month."

Her jaw dropped, so she reached to close it only for it to drop again. "A MILLION!?"

"Mhmm, a million. What? You look shocked. We are the main entertainment for two worlds, and the Institute makes a good bit of money off of us."

"That's…true…but still…wow…" she would join them just for the money if nothing else.

"Anyway, would you like to meet some of the others?"

"That would be appreciated," she said, following him down the hall in front of them, through a set of glass doors. There were soft cushions on sturdy, oak chairs and couches, TVs throughout the room, and a small fountain even. There was also an odd assortment of…people there.

As soon as she walked in behind Jarvan, a nine tailed fox ran up to them, launching herself to pounce of Jarvan. "Jarvan!" she squealed, but she was intercepted by a fist from Shyvana, sending her rolling back in a comical way, until her head hit a pillar.

"Ow…that was mean Jarvan…" the kitsune said, pouting at him as she stood up.

"Wasn't me," he said, pointing at Shyvana. "It was her."

Ahri's smirk came back and grew. "Oh….? So you finally have a girlfriend do you? Showing her around the institute aren't you? Trying to get in bed wi~"

"That's enough Ahri," a Maria hovering on a small ball of water said as she came over, and slapped her head softly.
"Nami…fine," she said with a soft sigh, standing up. "Heh heh, um, so…um…your name is?"

Shyvana cracked her knuckles and looked at her, wondering if Ahri was pulling her leg, but she seemed honest enough. "I'm Shyvana, Ahri, and hello Nami."

"Hiya!" Nami said with a small wave.

"Heh heh, yeah, so I'm Ahri, and sorry about that, it's just what I do!"

"Tease people?"

"Yup! You got it sister, speaking of which…it's about time I pounce on Wukong! Have fun you two love birds! Hey Wukong! Get over here!" she said, sprinting off.

Nami sighed and shook her head. "Sometimes she's calmer, but not often. It was a pleasure meeting you Shyvana, I hope to see you on the Rift." Nami said as she floated away.

"See you on the Rift?" she repeated, turning to Jarvan.

He just smiled and nodded. "It's a saying we say, it's like good luck, or see ya later."

"Oh, so that's all it is, interesting."

Just then, a timer went off above basically everyone's head, counting down from 100.

"Oh, well Shyvana, it's been a pleasure talking with you. From noon to 2 o'clock, I have some free time, not in matches, so until then, have a nice time exploring."
"Alright, and thanks for the tour," she said, watching him vanish. So…I have free time…what to do…

She ended up just wondering the grounds, and ended up at the little plaza he had been talking about. True to what he said, there were a bunch of small, outdoor tables out there, with a glass wall that lead to an indoor eating area, long wooden tables stretching across the room. Inside there was a buffet, currently empty, and a kitchen connected to it.

In the center of the group of tables was a medium sized fountain, but in the center of the plaza itself was a soft, grassy hill. The scene just looked so enticing, she couldn't help herself. She climbed the hill, looking around and smiling. There were more tables around the hill at the same level as the others, showing that the plaza was bigger than she thought. She rested her head on the grass and closed her eyes, sighing softly.

This place is pretty interesting. Has some different people too. Maybe I'll stick around for a bit, and see what's it's like. I'll even join them for a while, she thought, a small smile on her face before her breathing slowed, and she entered a soft, warm, sleep.

I hope it was for everyone's liking! Heh heh, so what shall happen to the dragon? Find out later...it's pretty obvious though.
