Nice, got me more followers, 7 in total, and some nice reviews. Thank you guys, it does mean a lot. I was a bit longer with uploading, but hell, I did my best right? Anyway, please read and enjoy, I hope it wasn't too bad as I was doing a fairly new thing for me in writing. Anyway, have fun! Warning: Stabbing will occur.
Jarvan walked into the Institute, the golden armor he wore with the, no matter how many times he said it was regal, golden horns as he headed into the teleporter room/waiting room where the champions were all gathered. He saw Nami, and walked over, smiling.
"Hello, Miss Nami, how are you today?"
She looked up and smiled back, but it was a small smile that seemed to waver. "Hey Jarvan…do you know where Shyvana is?"
"Hmm? No, I thought she was with you ladies the other day."
"Well she was….but she never came back to the Institute, I figured she must've gone home and gone to your place."
Jarvan stood there, thinking as his brow furrowed. "No…she didn't come back, that I can be sure of."
"How do you know?"
"Well one, none of my guards were harassed and whined to me about her treatment." Nami giggled at this, it did sound like Shyvana. "Or, she end up falling asleep by more door, guarding me."
"Guarding you?"
"Yeah…" he scratched the back of his head. "She's my guard, and she swore she would never let anyone harm me…she's a bit crazy about it, but she'll calm down over time. Although this time, it seems like she didn't care about protecting herself enough."
"C'mon Jarvan," Nami gave him a grin and leaned back. "It's Shyvana who we're talking about, a dragon halfbreed of all things. She'll be fine…I hope…"
They were silent for a few moments, before Nami finally sighed. "We're looking for her in the afternoon aren't we?"
"If you would be so kind as to join me, I would be happy for an extra set of eyes."
"During lunch too?"
"The more hours we use to search, the better off we will be. We can grab something at a street vendor anyway."
Nami raised an eyebrow at this. "The mighty prince of Demacia lowering himself to eat peasant food?"
He grinned and shook his head. "Right now I'm just Jarvan, no princely titles or anything, okay?"
"Alright my liege," Nami said, bowing with a cocky grin. "As you say."
Jarvan let out a soft laugh, relaxing. "Until then, we should just focus on are work."
"You're right, Nami said, smiling again. "It's Shyvana, she'll be fine." She was more helping herself than helping JArvan at this point with her own words.
Jarvan grinned and patted her on the back, making her stumble forward. "Mhmm, just don't beat yourself up over it, if we have to, we get revenge on Ahri for taking her drinking."
Ahri, who was running through the halls to get to the other champions on time, the summoners watching her body as it moved, stopped, and sneezed loudly. She wiped her nose and blinked in surprise. "Huh, somebody must be talking about me," she said aloud before looking at the time again. "Oh shit!" She scampered down the hall, hoping she would get there on time.
Shyvana woke up with a groan, raising her head and shaking it as she tried to clean the fog from her head. She took a quick look around, and began to struggle in her binds. Her hands were tied behind her back and her feet were bound to two legs of each chair. What was odd though was that she couldn't break the ropes.
"Oh, you're awake now aren't you?" Talon said as he walked over, an evil grin on his face. "Don't fight, you can't break them."
"Oh, and why the fuck is that?" She asked with a snarl.
He walked over and grabbed her neck where a colar was. He pressed a button and a large jolt went through her body, making Shyvana hiss in pain. "I simply put this on you to nullify your powers. Those crystals Skarner gave me were quiet useful you know. Now, will you be a tame little beast or not?"
She scoffed at him and rolled her eyes. "You know the answer to that already, don't you?"
"True, but I should at least ask first." He walked away to a large rack of tools that made Shyvana shiver is disgust. "I am an assassin for Noxus, but that doesn't mean I don't capture people as well. I'm very good at…extracting information from others."
"Oh really then? What wonderful fount of knowledge could I be then?" she asked, rolling her eyes and laughing slightly.
"Well, I really don't want information. See, it's been a while since I've extracted information from someone, so I wanted some practice. Not to mention, some people thinks dragon blood extends life, so I can make a pretty penny off of you as well."
"I thought you can't hurt me cause I'm in the League?"
He laughed at her lack of knowledge, grabbing her chin and forcing her to look up. "Only if you're in the Institute does that apply, otherwise, you're free game to everyone and anyone you meet. That includes me. Also, since that nullify your dragon strength and armor, I can do, this!" He took a dagger, and jabbed it into her hand. Her eyes went wide and she hissed loudly, trying to bring out some fire, but unable to do so.
"Now then," He grabbed a dozen more knives. "Shall we get started?"
At lunch time, around noon or so, Talon stood and stretched. "Well, my pretty, you are quite stubborn. I'll be back after I get something from the Institute."
He turned and left, leaving a pissed off, tired, and bleeding Shyvana in her chair.
As he teleported into the Institute of War, walked down the main pathway, and headed to the cafeteria. They gave out free meals after all, and he wasn't going to waste his money on his own meal if he could get a free one with stealing.
Katarina intercepted him as he walked down, throwing a knife in front of him.
"Okay," she said, clearly pissed off as she strutted forward. "Where the fuck is she?"
"I don't know what you mean," he said, feigning innocence.
"Oh you know damn well what I'm asking about. Where is she?!"
"Why the fuck do you care?"
She sighed and shook her head. "She has friends here, and they're pretty angry and confused. And they have friends who are pissed, and they're going to come hunting soon."
"Hmph, they won't find my outpost in Piltover where she is"
"Okay, look, get her back here soon, without any memory of what happened. Otherwise, we're going to have every single champion on our ass in a matter of minutes if it gets out. We NEED to return her."
Talon pushed her out of the way and kept on walking. "No we don't, nobody's going to find my base, and nothing bad will happen. Now shut up and go do whatever the fuck you were doing, go suck Jarvan's cock if you want to." He was pissed, and his arrogance was pissing off Katarina.
You just pissed off the wrong girl dear. She thought, an evil smirk crossing her face as she followed him to the cafeteria. I wonder what Mordekaiser's mace would look like in your face hmmm?
In the cafeteria, the air of gloom hovered around Ahri's table, which was odd since the kitsune was usually a ball of energy. Today she was worried though. Piltover was an okay town if you were in the right part, even good in some areas, with tech that was the best in the world, but other places had scum that made Noxus's bad parts seem heavenly.
Sona wouldn't play her music, Morde was angry that somebody had caused Sona to be upset, Nami was quiet, and wouldn't smile or laugh when Nautilus tried to cheer her up, making the other man infuriated someone dare hurt Nami's feelings.
Jarvan…was trying to keep everyone in the right state of mind. Being optimistic and trying to cheer them up as best as he could with limited success. Very limited success.
Ahri sat with her ears down, tail limp as she though, maybe I shouldn't have invited them for a night out? Maybe I shouldn't have listened to Jinx…it's my fault isn't it?
Similar thoughts, each blaming themselves for it for everyone who had talked to her that day. Soraka for not insisting she returned, Nami for not waiting long enough, Jarvan for telling her to go out and have fun, each beat themselves up as much as they could, all guilty, and wondering what happened to their new friend.
Imagine their surprise, especially Jarvan's considering that woman had tried to murder him in his sleep a few times, don't ask, came up and slammed her hands on the table, getting their attention.
"Damn, you all look like a sorry bunch," she commented, looking them over. "Even the glorious Prince of Demacia, who evaded even my blade is here all mopey. Weren't you going to search for her in the middle of the day?"
"We were," Jarvan said, not surprised she knew of their plan. "We decided it would be better to have nutrition in our system. This also gives us more time to gather people."
"Ah, makes sense I guess." She sat on the table, one foot on Jarvan's bench. "So, you guys are looking for Shyvana right?"
Morde stood up, raising his mace as he got into an offensive stance. "If you're the one who took her, I swear to god, Satan, and everything in between I'll…" The only thing that kept him from attacking her right then was Sona, who quickly strummed, "Let's at least hear her out," even if she herself was hesitant to listen to the assassin in front of her. Nautilus was equally ready to go ahead and crack some skulls, weather it be Kat's or someone else's.
"You guys okay now?" she asked, waiting until Morde hat sat down, but kept an eye on his mace. "I can help you guys out. Talon, I owed him one, but now he's pissed me off, so I'm gonna get some revenge, while helping you guys out. This means, that all of you owe me a favor."
"…depends…" Jarvan said after a moment of silence. "What kind of favor would you want, and what info will you give us?"
"Information you guys desperately want, and prince, the favor won't involve your head, or anything to do with your country. Just a little favor, seeing how I'm getting one from six people. Six little favors, for some info you guys really want, is it a deal?"
After some debating, they agreed it was a fair deal, and would promise a favor each if she gave useful information. Ahri even gave her a wink, and told her she could help with her Garen problem, to which she turned bright red and told the kitsune to politely shut the fuck up. Ahri grinned finally, and the mood seemed to lighten up for a while, before growing serious as Katarina leaned on the table, lowering her voice to a whisper.
"I know where Shyvana is, and who's holding her."
Morde immediately stood up with Nautilus, both drawing their weapons. "How?!" They both growled, although Morde was more intimidating.
She jumped back and raised her hands, trying to calm them down. "Easy there boys, settle down. I may or may not have helped kidnap her cause as I said, I owed Talon, but I'm here to help now."
They still stood, weapons drawn. "Can I continue?"
The Master of Metal slowly nodded, and she began repeating events of what happened that night, keeping out Talon's name, ending with her leaving the place where her brother had his base set up.
"Should I tell Caitlyn and Vi to come as well?"
"Please," Jarvan said, but as soon as she turned around, Morde ran forward and back her against the wall, his mace's shaft up against her throat.
"Why should we belive you? And why don't I extract revenge on you for hurting Sona and everyone else."
"look," she said, gasping for breath as she squirmed. "I told him to get Shyvana back here by today! I didn't want anything to happen! Really! I'm not that bad a person, not to mention," she gave him a sly grin. "Not to mention, I can help you get the bastard in the act, and help you get him to the Shadow Isles to help you…repay him…"
He lowered his mace, nodding. "I see your point. Fair enough, go tell them. Meet us in Piltover?"
"Alright, but make sure you guys don't leave until I head out the door. I need to make sure everything's set up before you guys go."
"Set up how?"
"I need to know for sure he's there, that's all, anyway, see ya there!" She vanished from his grasp in a puff of smoke, appearing by Vi's side, as she whispered into her ear. Vi got Caitlyn, and they all headed out.
"Well," Jarvan turned to the others. "Let's tell the officials of the Institute to take us out for the rest of the games. We'll loose some cash and get fined, but we need tog et Shyvana back right?"
They nodded in agreement, and left, ready to get their friend back.
Meanwhile, in an apartment's basement in the bad part of Piltover, Talon approached Shyvana while sharpening a knife.
"Ready for round two dear?" he asked, an evil laugh in his voice as he began to break her, bit by bit.
