Shyvana laid on her bed in the luxurious hospital, sleeping peacefully after talking to Nami and Soraka for a bit. Bed rest was extremely important so that her psychological state didn't get any worse than it already was. They sat watching TV with the volume extremely low as they talked.

"Damn," Soraka said, swearing for once. Talon's really messed her up badly."

"Soraka! Language!" Nami said, before sighing and nodding. "You're right though. He really did."

They heard a knocking at the door before a blue haired maiden peaked in, her etwahl in hand. She saw the other two and smiled before walking in, closing the door behind herself. She strummed on her instrument. "I figured I'd come here and stay around for a bit longer. I have nothing better to do since we have the day off, I mean since we took the day off, and she enjoys my music. Maybe this will help Shyvana a bit?"

"Well, it can't harm her right?"Nami said, smiling. They all enjoyed her music after all. She was the Maiden of Strings for a reason. She could lull even Baron Nashor to sleep with her music. In fact, the League had called on her before to quiet him whenever they needed to give him medicine or check him for any illness.

One time Baron had the flu…that was an experience nobody ever talks of, it was just…no.

Sona leaned back and began playing a sweet melody. Nami closed her eyes and leaned back in the couch relaxing. Soraka did the same, both smiling as they stared at the ceiling, serene and peaceful memories running through their heads.

Sona kept on playing, keeping an eye on Shyvana. The half dragon settled down at first, but as she kept on playing, she bit her lip and began squirming, squeezing her eyes shut as if she was having a nightmare. Sona played a bit louder, but that only made Shyvana's body curl up and moans of pain come from her, as if the music was hurting her.

Sona's eyes went wide as she watched, as she hit a wrong note and stopped playing altogether.

Soraka and Nami looked around more clearly as the music stopped, confused. Sona never hit a wrong note. They saw Shyvana and stared in surprise before getting up.

"D-did I do something bad? W-what's happening? W-what did I do?" The maiden of strings asked, strumming quickly and panicked.

"I don't know," Nami said, rushing over and placing a hand on her forehead. "Okay, I know dragons are supposed to have high body temperatures and everything, but she's burning up. As in touching her is too hot."

Soraka did the same, withdrawing her hand quickly. "Yup, I'll go get a doctor. Be right back." She sprinted off into the hallway, not sure as to what was really happening.

"I-is it my fault?" Sona asked, still upset and confused. "Did my music harm her?"

"No, that can't be it," Nami said, forcing Shyvana to stretch out on the hospital bed, although she was still breathing hard and panting. "It had to be something in what Talon put in that drug. To make her suffer or something."

"Will she be okay?"

"I hope so, but don't play any more right now in case it makes it worse," Nami said, before noticing how upset Sona really was. She hugged the Maven of the Strings, comforting her. "Don't worry. We all love your music, it's the drug."

"But she didn't react like this the first time that I played!"

"You played for her before? Maybe it's a delayed effect, or it has to build up long enough to cause any affect on her system." Nami shrugged. "I have no knowledge on this. It's not something I know about, it's not like it's a drug made from seaweed or anything after all."

Soraka burst in, doctors following her. "I got them!"

One came over quickly, this was a patient that worked in the Institute of War, and Caitlyn and Vi were urging them to help. That last one was a request they literally, couldn't refuse if they liked living. "Move out of the way move out of the way," one muttered, speed walking forward with a thermometer. He put it in her mouth, pulling it out after a few moments to check the temperature. "My god…"

"What?" The other three female champions asked at once, all of them begging for details.

"If she was a human, her blood would be boiling." Their eyes went wide at this and he nodded in agreement. "I can give her something to lower her temperature, but without knowing what is directly causing it, we can't do too much in case we make the situation worse."

"We understand doctor…erm…Heimeldorf. You're doing all you can right?" She said, speaking for all of the others. "Just, do what you can. We don't her to die on us."

"I'll do my best. You woman should probably leave though, in case it's contagious."

Nami shook her head. "Prince Jarvan IV of Demacia ordered us to erm…guard her. So we won't be leaving anytime soon."

"If you say so," the doctor said with a shrug, before winking. "I'm just told to tell everyone that. It's part of the policy. Personally, I don't care."

He left and returned with some medicine, forcing Shyvana to sit up and drink some water as she took the pills. He had to lift her head up with oven mits on, just so he wouldn't burn himself. After she took them, he set her back down and fluffed up her pillow for her. He wrote down a number on a piece of paper, handing it to Nami. "Call me on this line, and I'll be here ASAP. Okay?"

"Yes Doctor," name said, waving as he left. The three of them sat on the couch, before Nami finally said, "Sona, you should know it's not your fault."

She strummed softly to communicate, but made sure Shyvana couldn't hear it. "I know, but I still feel guilty about it. If I hadn't had played, she would be able to talk and wouldn't be burning up…"

"Don't think about it like that, we were all asking you to," Nami said, wrapping on arm around her.

"That's right!" Soraka said, doing the same. "We didn't know, so it's not a big deal."

They sat like that, until they heard some groaning from Shyvana. They looked, but they only saw her roll around in her sleep.

"Oh, it was nothing," Nami said, smiling at Sona. The smile was contagious, and she smiled back, some of the worry seeping out of her.

"Anyway," Soraka said, still thinking positively. "We have Jarvan searching for the bits for the cure. It can't be that bad right? Not when we have the prince of Demacia on our side!"

"That's right!" Nami said. "So all we have to do is wait! I wonder how they're doing…"

In the swamps, everything had been going fairly well, up until they actually found the plant. They were looking for a flaming lily, and needed the petals of it for the cure. The problem with the flaming lily was that if you touched it, a nasty rash/burn would appear on any skin that touched it. It would also burn fur like what Wukong had, or Ahri's tails.

The trip to it was easy, excluding the fact they had to drag Wukong out of the swamp as he fell into a sinkhole, and Ahri got splashed with some swamp ooze out of nowhere, causing the other two to laugh at how disgusted and upset the kitsune was.

They had brought along some glass jars to store a leaf in each, as well as some gloves meant for harvesting plants like the flaming lily's petals. It had a thin carbon mesh that wouldn't melt or be destroyed.

When they finally found the lily, they were all happy. This meant they could go home sooner. Katarina took some glass jars with her so she could pick a few off. Wukong and Ahri stood waiting, Ahri flirting with him and teasing him with her body, which he tried to resist.

Kat hung from a limp near the lily and opened a jar which she held in the crook of her as she reached down with the glove on, picking one petal and storing it. She then closed the top and placed it in the bag on her back, repeating the process a few more times until there weren't any petals and jars left.

"Huh, that was easy," she commented, shrugging. "I guess we just head back and give Jarvan the good news." She swung from branch to branch until she was on solid land, where she began walking to the others.

"Got the petals…hey…don't need to look so shocked you know…it wasn't THAT hard."

They weren't staring at her though. They were staring BEHIND her. A giant creature had risen from where the lily was, the lily a little decoration on its head, and it was pissed that its petals had been picked.

"Run?" Wukong asked the two ladies, one of which looked like she was ready to take some of his essence when the beast came, having to straighten her clothes and pull him up.

"Yup, no reason to fight it if we already have what we came for. Let's get the fuck out!" Kat said, as she began hopping through branches. Wukong and Ahri did the same, following Kat.

Behind them, the smashing of branches could be heard, and even the destruction of trees as the enraged monster chased after them, intent on killing them.

Katarina tripped over a root as she landed on the ground, spilling some of the glass bottles out. "Shit!" she swore, picking up a few and stuffing them back in the bag. Wukong and Ahri hopped up and joined her, quickly stuffing them in the bag as well.

They just got them all in the bag as the monster caught up to them, swinging it's tentacles at them.

"Eeep!" Ahri squealed, rolling out of the way. Wukong chuckled like an evil monkey as he split off a copy of himself to distract the monster while he grabbed the bag which Katarina had set down to push the glasses in. Katarina narrowly dodged the tentacle, sliding across the ground and then trolling away, sprinting to the nearest branch. She hurled herself to it and launched herself forward, trying to just gain distance.

"Continue running monkey man, we need to get that to Jarvan no matter what!"

"Eh?" Wukong hopped around the tentacles, using his staff to knock them away when they got too close. "First, don't call me monkey man, only Ahri can do that."

"That's right!" Ahri squeaked, jumping around as the tentacles zoomed path her.

"Second of all, why do you care so much?"

"Politics," Kat grunted, stabbing a tentacle with a dagger, causing the monster to scream as it pulled that one back, Kat pulling out another dagger to replace it. "Don't want to have a full blown war. It would cause lots of problems."

"Oh shit…if this is stopping-a-war-from-happening-cause-of-Talon important, I' out! See ya two ladies at the Institute!" He gave Ahri a quick kiss, before laughing as he ran away, glad to be far away from that tentacle thing. It was something from the nightmares of someone who loves hentai in his opinion.

"So wait," Kat said, watching the monkey man hop away. "Are you guys a couple?"

"More or less!" Ahri squealed, narrowly rolling away again. "More like friends with benefits, and I get most of the benefits!"

"So do we buy him time?" Kat asked, going on the offensive. As two tentacles swung down at her, she cut them in half before running up to the monster and slicing it across its face making it scream and writhe in agony. "Ahri?"

"Sorry, I'm out!" the vixen screamed as she ran away from the battle, following Wukong. "Wait for meeee! I want some more essence~!"

Kat looked after her, sweat dropped, before realizing she had o handle the equivalent of Baron Nashor all by herself. She took a nervous gulp, holding her daggers in her hand, shaking slightly before she steeled her nerves.

I'm the damn Sinister blade of Noxus! I can handle something like this…probably…maybe…I hope. Hell, I'll be the first one to take out something as strong as Baron all by myself. She gulped, but still stared down the beast in front of her.

"Come at me you giant bag of worms! What? You scared of just one girl all by herself?" she taunted, raising a hand to tell it to come forward.

The Swamp Nashor, his new nickname, roared in anger. Her plan had worked. Swamp Nashor raised three tentacles, swinging them down towards Kat. She dodged one, and sliced through the others and began running forward toward the creature's face.

It roared, tilting its head back before hurling acid out of it's mouth and at her. She jumped over the ball and where it landed behind her, it ate out the bark of the tree and seeped into the ground.

"Damn," she muttered, rolling as she hit the ground to slide under another tentacle, raising her dagger to slice into it and damage it. She hopped up to her feet, only to have the same tentacle she had damaged swing back and knock her feet out from under her.

She grunted as she hit the ground, looking up to see half of a dozen tentacles swinging down to hit her. She rolled to the side and kept on rolling as they landed where she had been a minute ago each and every time.

"Damnit this is a pain," she swore, standing up to see that she was where she had been when she began fighting Swamp Nashor. She reached up and wiped some blood off of her face. Must've hit a rock when I was rolling out of the way, she thought, shrugging it off. It wasn't a big injury, she had taken worse before after all.

Fuck it! Might as well! They probably escaped by now anyway! She rushed forward, daggers drawn. Swamp Nashor saw this and swung down a dozen tentacles on either side of her, planning on smashing her. She crouched as they neared before launching herself into the air.

Swamp Nashor saw this and swung three more tentacles at her while she was in the air. As the first one neared her, she twisted herself in the air and planted her feet on it. Using the tentacle's momentum and her own strength, she pushed herself off of it and sent herself flying towards Nashor.

Nashor tilted its head back, planning on spitting acid right into her face.

Thank you idiot! She thought as an evil, sadistic grin crossed her face. She stabbed her daggers into its soft, exposed neck. She left her daggers in there as the acid continued to build up in its throat. She had prevented it from leaving his throat and trapped it.

She rolled away and watched it throw its head side to side, trying to get the daggers out. It eventually threw its head into the water, blood coming from its wounds. It reached back and yanked the daggers out with its own tentacles, more blood escaping into the water as well as acid.

It had to swim away in the swamp, nursing its wounds and trying to not let the poisoned water in. His own acid had made the water so toxic, it was killing even the plants that had just one root touching it that were on the ground.

Kat let herself sit on a rotting log, relaxing for a moment as exhaustion from the fight rolled over her body. All of her muscles screamed for a break and burned wit exhaustion.

She lowly stood up, looking where Ahri and Wukong had run off to.

I'm going o kill those two, she swore silently, but in reality, she would never do such a thing. Maybe just yank on their tails a bit.

The portal to the swamp that was on a small stone pyramid with crumbling stone pillars, that floated in the air with the support of some red, glowing crystals.

"Hey Wukong," Ahri asked, her tails swaying nervously as she chewed on a nail. "Do you think I should have, you know, stuck around a bit more? And helped fight hat thing."

"Eh, what's done is done right?"

"Yeah…but…still..I feel kind of bad or abandoning her…you know…"

"Eh, don't worry," he tossed a banana peel to the side. "She'll be fine."

"How can you be so sure?" Ahri asked, glancing at him before looking down the steps of the pyramid.

"Because, intuition…"

"Really?" She gave him a dubious look. "That's all?"

"Nope!" he pointed down the pyramid. "She's right there."

"Kitty Kat!" Ahri squealed, hopping down the steps towards her before hugging and spinning her, grinning. "I knew you could take out that little monster all by yourself. Right Wukong?"

"I had more faith in you than she did."

"Wukong!" Ahri glared at him, before smiling a Kat. "Heh heh…he's just joking."

All the time, Kat kept he head down, but by then she was shaking with anger. "did you call me Kitty Kat?"

"Heh?" Ahri asked, letting go and backing away a bit, sweat dropped.

This is going to be interesting… Wukong thought, watching from a safe distance.

Kat glared at her, eyes burning with fury. "Don't call me Kitty KAT!" she yelled, grabbing Ahri buy her kimono and shaking her. Well, more like throttling her, her face flushed until she was bright red. "Nobody calls me that! Is it because of that one skin the League forced me to use hMMMMMMm?!"

Ahri was woozy as she was shook, confused and a bit scared. "K-ka, kat calm down!" she squirmed out of her grip, falling to the ground. "I'm sorry! Please don't hurt me!"

She looked down at the kistune before she sighed, pulling her up. "Don't call me that again okay?"

"Y-yeah…sure thing Kat!" She was grinning ear to ear now, lad Kat looked like she wasn't going to kill her.

Kat turned herself to the laughing Wukong who himself was grinning ear to ear. "Hey Monkey Man!" she called out, getting his attention. "Deliver those. I'm going home to take a nap. You take them to Jarvan."

"Am I getting my bananas?"

"Yes, you'll get your bananas, after, and only after, a successful delivery." She said, glaring at him. "Understood?"

"Fine…Christ…with an attitude like that Jarvan will never like you," he muttered before walking through the portal.

Kat's face burned red as he left. "Why….you…" she stammered, unable to even form a sentence.

Ahri just giggled but said nothing, hopping up the steps with Kat. "I could use some sleep too. Let's go home. Jarvan won't mind if we take a break after all, right?"

"Yeah sure," I planned on taking a break no matter what though, Kat thought, stretching as they stood in front of the portal. At least we got one of them, so that's good, she thought, before walking through after Ahri.

Well , I hope my spelling and everything wasn't TOO bad this time around. Anyway, that's my chapter. Have a nice night everyone, peace! :3
