A bit later than usual but oh well, don't kill me! Videogames and life keep on getting in my way. Also, 2 new people who follow this, thanks peeps! Also, just...sorry, you'll hate Talon and me by the end of this. Anyway, have fuuuuun!
Jarvan walked in with his golden armor on and a bubbly Soraka behind him. Well, she was bubbly till she saw how bad Shyvana had gotten. From the time she had taken the medicine, she had gotten paler, her breathing was weaker, and they were lucky the sheets to the bed weren't on fire just from how hot Shyvana's skin was.
Jarvan looked surprised at how weak Shyvana seemed, name constantly swapping out wet towels on her forehead for fresh ones she made. She looked up as Jarvan came in.
"Jarvan!" Shyvana stirred, groaning at the sound of his name. Nami quickly floated over, looking at the potion glass he held. "Is that it?"
"I hope so." He swirled the contents of the glass. "It should help our friend here."
Nobody stopped Jarvan as he walked over to Shyvana, Ahri just leaning on a chair as she watched in curiosity. Nami followed Soraka as they went to stand by Ahri, watching Jarvan. Sona sat at another chair, watching the prince of Demacia.
He walked over and slowly lifted her up to a sitting position, swearing softly as he felt the heat her body gave off, hurting him through his golden, enchanted, top notch armor.
He propped up some pillows for her to rest her back on and set her against it, slowly opening her mouth. "Drink up," he said softly, before tilting the potion so that a few drops went down. He kept on slowly tilting the bottle, a few drops sliding down every time. Even unconscious, she was able to swallow the liquid to prevent herself from chocking on it.
By the time the bottle was half empty, her body stopped burning up like it was ready to melt. Jarvan allowed himself a small smile as he tilted the bottle a bit more. The last drop fell into her mouth and she swallowed it without any problem. Jarvan slid her back under her covers nice and comfy, setting her pillows for her. He walked back to the others, all of them curious.
"Is she better?" Sona immediately asked.
"She should be, she took the entire potion without a single problem. Her skin's a bit cooler and some color returned to her face.
The Maven of Strings sighed in relief while the others exchanged smiles.
"So do you think we could leave her for a while without anyone watching her?" Nami asked, smiling wide like the others.
"Probably," Jarvan said. He herded them out, looking back at Shyvana when a cold chill swept through him. "Hey…guys…get back in here…I have a bad feeling…"
He walked slowly back to Shyvana's side, looking her over. He put a hand on Shyvana's shoulder and shook it slowly. "Are you alright Shyvana?"
Right then her eyes flew open. Instead of the normal red however, they were a deep black. Jarvan took a step back in surprise as she sat up, but her hand flew out and gripped his throat.
"Urk~!" he cried out in surprise, looking back at the others for help. Nami, quickest to react, summoned a ball of water around Shyvana. Surprised by her quick thinking, Shyvana let go of his throat, dropping him to the ground. He coughed hard, a bit of blood coming out as he wiped it away. Sona rushed over and healed him, clearly as confused as the others.
Before anyone could say anything, Shyvana surrounded herself in fire, destroying Nami's bubble before smashing the window. She hopped out of it, flipping before landing on her feet and sprinting away, still in a hospital gown.
The others surrounded Jarvan while Ahri looked out the window, to watch Shyvana rob a man of his shirt, and then rob another of his pants, putting it on as she changed in the street.
Okay, that is NOT like Shyvana, Ahri thought with a nod of her head.
"I don't know what happened," Jarvan said with a shake of his head. "I felt like something was wrong, so I went to check on her. All I saw was just that she had black eyes. We did the recipe correctly I think, and we used everything Talon…" everything clicked right then and Jarvan's face twisted in anger. "THAT SON OF A BITCH!" He slammed his fist into the ground, cracking the floor and the ceiling of the storage closet under them. "We've been fucking tricked!"
"What do you mean?" Ahri asked, worried. Nobody had seen him this mad before, not even Ahri when she teased him on Valentine's day.
"I mean that Talon got us to get everything to 'cure' Shyvana just to drive her crazy!"
"That's…wow…" Nami said, everyone taken aback. What the hell was Talon thinking?
"I'm going to the jail and breaking every bone, organ, and everything else of his!"
"Um…Jarvan…" Ahri was still by the window. "I hate to break this to you, but the jail may or may not be having a problem right now."
"What do you mean?" he asked as he came to the window with her.
"I mean," she pointed at a fire down the street. "That Shyvana can now drive, and that the police station that has him is on fire…dragon fire most likely…"
"What the hell did we do to her?" Jarvan asked, groaning as he face palmed. "Why didn't we research this more?!"
Soraka squirmed and looked away. "Sorry Jarvan, I should have."
"Not your fault. Whatever, let's just try to fix this before it gets any worse."
"Okay, let's go!" Nami said before heading out, Ahri and everyone else in tow.
(In Shyvana's head…)
Shyvana floated in the darkness, looking for something. Why am I here? What's going on? Doesn't Jarvan need me to protect his sorry ass? She thought as she floated along.
Another form of herself made of nothing but a never ending darkness floated towards her. "Hello there Shyvana."
"Who are you?" Shyavana asked, getting ready to torch the apparition.
"I am you. The you you wish never existed." The spirit flew faster toward her than she could have stopped, placing a hand on her forehead. "See what I mean."
Her eyes glazed over as memories flashed before her eyes. Her mother dying at the hands of a dragon, her father dying at the hands of a different dragon while she had to always run away. Run away because she was the half breed, run away because she was the freak amongst the dragons. Run away because if she didn't, more people close to her would die.
"You're so weak!" The shadow hissed as tears built up in Shyvana's eyes, the graphic image of her mother hopping in front of her as a dragon tore at her back with his claws before torching her, her burned and shredded corpse filled her memory while the smell of human flesh filled her nose.
"See what I mean? And then you made a friend." Images of Jarvan popped in her head, then of when she fought with Jarvan and his soldiers. "So weak you needed help to kill an injured dragon!"
"S-stop it," Shyvana muttered, eyes still glazed over. "P-please." Tears dripped down her cheeks.
"Your friend might die because of you, a great war might start because of you, and you would be impossible to stop it," the voice whispered, images of Jarvan dying on the battlefield, along with Nami, Soraka, Sona, everyone dead on a battlefield. "All because you were tricked by a mear human assasian."
"S-stop it, please!" Shyvana begged, curling up as she cried. "Nobody needs to die because of me!" she was soft on the inside, and since this shadow was a part of her, it knew all of the right notes to hit to make her break.
"I can fix everything for you though, I can make it all better, all you have to do is give me control of your body, willingly of course."
Shyvana realized what was going on, and gripped the hand, yanking it away. "I won't obey you! Never! This is my body!"
The spirit laughed as it faded away. "Such a shame, but I already have control. Have fun with your eternal suffering…" It said before vanishing into thin air.
Shyvana curled in as the sounds and voices, the smell of her dying mother and the taste of her father's blood as it was spilled on her filled her memory as she floated deeper into her mind.
(In reality…)
Dark Shyvana smashed down the front door of the police station, shucking the beaten, bruised, and burned forms of the guards to the side as she strode down the hallway. She went down into the interrogation rooms, a part of her glad that Vi and Caitlyn seemed to be off chasing Jinx again.
She stopped in front of a cell, melting the bars with her fire before tearing them out. She got down on one knee as a man stepped out, smiling deviously. "Welcome back my lord."
"Why hellloooo there Shyvana," Talon said, an evil smirk in his smile as he reached down and slowly gripped her chin, making her look up at him with her adoration filled eyes. "We're going to have some fun with these others alright? First a bit of revenge though. How about me and you go…teach little Kitty Kat a lesson?"
"Yes my lord," Shyvana said obediently, blinking up at him as he patted her head, allowing her to stand. She followed him to a storage room where all the tools, toys, and weapons of the convicted went. Talon got dressed up in his normal clothes and grabbed his knives.
"So, shall we get going?" He headed out the front door, humming happily to himself. "Oh, and you can burn this place to remove our traces of being here."
"yes my lord," she said before turning around and lighting the place on fire, then doing the same to the police cars. "So they can't chase us my lord."
"Clever thinking…if…" he kicked her in the stomach, causing her to land on her back before his foot pressed against her face. "I didn't want to use one as a fucking escape ride!"
"Sorry sire," she said softly, the darkness swirling in her eyes. "We can find another ride by stealing a pedestrian car."
"YOU can, go fetch me one." While she did what he asked, he smirked to himself. Stupid, gullible champions they all were. Believing the words of someone who wanted you to die, HA! Jarvan the fourth really was nothing more than a pampered child he thought, before going after Shyvana who stole a taxi driver's car, and headed out with her to plot his revenge.
Little short, i know, but hey, I think it was good. So yeah, what will happen to Shyvana? Will the ship ever show up? Am I being a complete ass and hating on Talon to the max? Find out...eh...before I end the story at least :P OH! And please review...night night!
