As I said I would try to upload more, so here's a morning upload...and WHY DOES NOBODY REVIEW?! Is it just good enough where it doesn't need reviews, or is it so bad you don't want to review it, or is it just there in the middle? I mean, I want some commentary...the fact more people seem to favorite it is a good thing, but I still want to have constructive comments...meh, I am greedy for information! Anyway, READ!
Shyvana took her bag and stood with Nami, Ahri, Jarvan, Nautilus, Fizz, Katarina, Garen, and nearly every other champion were gathered on the teleportation platform the size of a ballroom. That is, besides Talon of course, he was still locked away.
"Is everybody ready?" A summoner dressed in blue robes called out. He got a general roar of yesses and nodded to his other summoners. "Let's teleport them!"
Well, on to the trip, she thought, her mind going back to how she got herself on this trip with everyone.
As Jarvan pulled her by her hand, he shot out his explanation, not realizing he had quickly lost Sona and Ahri. "Okay, see, we have vacation days-"
He got cut off already by a surprised Shyvana. "We get vacation days?"
"Yes we do. Don't interrupt me please."
"Oh…sorry…"
"Anyway, we get vacation days. Every year, during summer, The Institute sponsors some trips for us. There are different locations, but the most popular one by far is the beach island resort. I'd recommend it for you too."
"How come?"
"Well, the other places aren't your forte. One is a vacation inside the Shadow Isles…"
"Um…no…"
"And the other is a ski resort in the mountains."
"Well that doesn't sound too bad."
"If you want to get caught in a Tryndamere versus Sejuani snowball fight, then yeah, just tons of fun."
"Um…no…no thanks," she said with a weak smile. She was strong, but Sejuani's polar bear thing she swore was on steroids, and Tryndamere looked like he could crush a building with his hands. Getting caught in a snowball right between the two, albeit fun, seemed deadly.
"Usually those used to the cold that lived in the cold go there, everyone else tends to just go to the beach, well, besides those from the shadow isles."
"Really?"
"…Well, that used to be the case. Now Mordekasier is with Sona and goes with her to the beach, Hecarim gives rides around the beach for cash. Karthus chases after anyone with a pair of breasts, and Evelyn and Elise just kind of do whatever they want. I think only Yorik and Thresh stay home."
"Oh, so most people go to the beach?"
"Yup, so c'mon, let's get you signed up! If you don't sign up, you get put on a random trip, and I think you wouldn't want to spend your weekend with Thresh."
"Why?"
Jarvan shivered. "Nobody knows for sure what he does with the living, but from what rumors I've heard, it's nothing good. Maybe those on the Isles know, but I sure as hell don't. Nor do I want to."
"Okay, so um…" Her face went flushed a little, remembering something Ahri had told her about couples and holding hands. "Mind letting go of my hand?"
"What?" He then looked at it and immediately let go, a slight blush creeping up. "Ah, sorry."
"It's not a problem," she said with a small smile, somewhat regretting that she had asked him to let go. "So um, let's continue running?"
"Let's," he said, running ahead again. She easily caught up as they sprinted to the teleportation building located in Piltover. They had stopped as they had talked, but now they sped up to make for lost time. They went into the area labeled, champions only, and had them set it for the Institute Of War.
As soon as the operator said it was ready, they hopped through it and ran straight through the main building to the entrance, both collapsing on the ground in front of it. The lady working behind it stood up and came over to them.
"Lord Jarvan IV and Shyvana, are you two alright," she asked, looking over them. "Should I get the doctors? Was there a fight?"
"No, no," Shyvana said, as she sat up, catching her breath. "We have a question."
"Question," she smiled. "Sure! What can I answer for you two?"
"Have you…turned in…the list of who's…going…where?" Jarvan asked, panting harder than Shyvana who seemed to be a bit more fit than him.
"I was just about to!" She walked behind her desk and pulled out a vanilla folder. "I know you signed what you wanted to do Lord Jarvan, but I don't believe you did Shyvana."
"I'd like to do that if I could right now," she said with a smile.
"Sure!" While the woman handed her the folder, she noticed something. Shyvana seemed a lot more relaxed and happier than she did in the past. I wonder what happened…could it be…ARE THEY A COUPLE?! The woman though, getting flushed and smiling a bit to Shyvana's confused face.
"Um…hello?" Shyvana asked for the third time. "Are you okay?"
"Huh, yes, I'm fine," I can't wait to tell Ahri this, she secretly thought, wanting to start the rumor mill up.
Shyvana handed off what she had checked and signed, it was the beach trip. "Alright, since I'm done," she turned to Jarvan. "Wanna grab a bite to eat."
"Sure, sweets are always great, but let's get something else to keep our stomachs full for a bit, have any idea of where you want to go?"
"Hmm…nope!" Shyvana said, smiling. "I figured you would know a place."
"I do, hope you like Demacian cooking though."
"I lived in Demacia for a while with you at the palace, remember?"
"True…well then, let's be off," he said, tugging her along by the hand.
The receptionist grinned. Oh this is juicy, she thought, already going online to text Ahri the news.
The next day was, groan, a shopping trip with Ahri. Mainly for a swimsuit. Nami couldn't help her considering she herself was always wet, and both Soraka and Sona had gone to Ahri to help them choose what they would wear, so now it was Shyvana's turn.
"C'mon, don't you want to get something nice for your boyfriend?" Ahri whined, her ears flat on her head.
"W-w-what?!" Shyvana dropped the current bathing suit she had been holding, a quite revealing bikini. "What do you mean boyfriend?" she all but screamed, her face flushed bright red.
"Heh heh, everyone at the Institute knows that you guys went on a date last night."
"What? No we didn't! All we did was go out for dinner cause we were both hungry!"
"Awww, but I have a witness saying you two were holding hands and everything!"
"We were running to get to the Institute on time and he was pulling me along by my hand!"
"Sheesh, no need to get so loud about it," Ahri said, trying to calm her down as people were starting to stare. "See? People are looking."
"Oh…right…" Shyvana calmed down quickly, breathing deeply.
"Why'd you get so excited about it though?" A sly grin crossed Ahri's face as she leaned in closer to Shyvana. "Could it be…you're interested in him? Even though he was an ass to you?"
"W-w-what?" she looked her away, her face still flushed. "N-no, no, nothing like that…and I mean…besides that time which was a rare exception…and it wasn't a normal situation…"
"That's the truth," Ahri agreed.
"But he is really nice and kind and able to joke around with others, like myself, right?"
'Mhmm," Ahri agreed, watching Shyvana's facial features as a knowing smile spread across her face.
"And he has the best hugs and…what is it?" Shyvana asked, noticing her friend's smirk by then. "Did I say something?"
"Oh…nothing! Anyway, do you want to get his attention and impress him? You have plenty to work with!"
Shyvana blushed and shook her head, earning a sigh from Ahri. "You're hopeless, I swear both of you are. And you're so cute with each other! Strong dominant Jarvan taming the wild Shyvana-"
"Shut it," Shyvana said, hitting Ahri in the back of her head and making her whimper in pain. "Just help me find a something to swim in.
In the end, Shyvana gave into Ahri's demands to find her a bikini, and they settled for a crimson one. It had a little ring in the center, just in between her breasts. Other than that it looked normal enough.
"If you really want to cover up so badly, I know what we can do!" After they finished paying for that, Ahri dragged her friend to another store and made her buy herself a nice towel that was whit except for a black, red, and orange fire design around the edges. "Wrap yourself in that and you'll be fine!'
"Thanks Ahri, what else do I need to buy?'
"Hmm, let's think, sunscreen shouldn't be a problem for a half dragon…have you ever gotten a sunburn?"
"What's that?"
"Okay you'll be fine…we don't need bug spray…oh I know!" she dragged her back into the shop with the towel they had just bought and pointed at a rack of inflatable things. "Any of these!"
"Any?"
"Any!"
"Um…then this one," she said, grabbing and pulling down an inflatable raft that someone could stretch out on.
"Alright, fair warning that you might get targeted by jinx who likes to do pranks. Pray that Vi or Caitlyn are nearby. They would love an excuse to chase her down. I think there's a secret romance between the three of them!"
"I'll let you keep those theories to yourself," Shyvana said, rolling her eyes.
"Oh and buy these!" Ahri handed her a pair of shades, which Shyvana then looked at her curiously. "I dunno, it just seemed like something that would fit you."
"Okay, I'll believe you," she said with a shrug. "Anything else?"
"Do you want to get a summer dre-"
"NO!" She all but screamed. "No dresses!"
Ahri pouted. "You're no fun…"
"So there's nothing else?"
"Nope! Wanna stop and get something to eat on the way back?"
"Sure!"
The next few days had blurred together as she was too excited for the trip. She just wanted to leave right away and get going, but alas, that wasn't an option now was it?
The bit of a flashback had ended, and she closed her eyes as the swirls from the portal working became too much for her. Next thing she knew they were there, standing on a platform in front of their hotel. Her jaw dropped. Whoever made this probably made a good few dollars from the Institute every year.
A warm breeze blew past her as she stood in shock still awe of the place. It was 10 stories high, as if a beacon of pristine beauty rising from the sea. In front of them was a soft red carpet that stretched all the way into the lobby which itself was covered in equally soft red cloth, as they had expected their arrival.
Inside the lobby a crystal chandelier hung with were candles on it that wouldn't die out for several years. A circular reception desk was located in the center. Off to the back and to the left was a little bar with an elderly man sitting behind it as a bartender.
Through a glass automatic door there was a 100 foot long pool with even a jump tower and everything. There was also a tiki bar nearby and a path that led to the pearly white beaches. There was another path that led to a scenic route through the jungle.
The beach was the most beautiful part to her. Soft white sand stretched out around the island as the crystal clear blue waves crashed about, the scattered palm trees swaying in the breeze as it blew through, ever so gently.
"Wow…" was all she could say.
"Isn't it wonderful?" Nami asked as joined Shyvana, the rest heading into the building. "I love this place!"
"Where are we even?"
"Hmm, somewhere near Ionia I believe," Nami said, thinking hard. "Who cares? Let's go," she said as she dragged Shyvana into the building, laughing along with her.
So yeah! New chapter made! 12 days and counting! Tik tok. Anyway, review, follow, and favorite for more! Bye bye says Qoppy!
