I did it before 9:30 East Coast time! I did it in time! So yeah! HAPPY FOURTH OF JULY PEOPLE! WOOT WOOT! Hope your days have been good! I hope it's a nice read for you guys as well! Now for reviews...
NinjaKirby7 - I'm glad to be back! Thanks for the warm and fuzzy welcome!
Elsa - I won't say why for the sake of those who decided to keep their mind virgin, but in my mind it made sense for what she did in her sleep. If someone did that to a guy (the version of it at least) I'd be like WTF!? And as for the favor, I guarantee nothing. I have nothing planned with Ashe but I'll think about it. I only have stuff with Nocturne and Thresh guaranteed. Little bit for others to think on. Oh and Pantheon! But anyway...
READ!
Shyvana sat in the basement, relaxing in front of the TV that was there. In the basement, it was like a gaming hub. It was down a set of stairs in the main lobby, past the janitor's closet and an office, was a large wooden double door.
Past the door, was the gaming hub. There was a mini bar with a stocked fridge and wine on a rack covering the wall behind it. There were also small snacks, bags of chips, sandwiches and the like there. There were three large plasma screen TVs with X-boxes, 360 and 1 for each of them, as well as Playstation 3s and 4s. One TV on the far right in the corner had an unused Wii. On a rack next to the TVs were games for all of the consoles, even the Wii. There were also some portable gaming consoles for people to play on on top of the rack.
In front of each TV were two comfy leather couches. There were also two foosball tables, two air hockey tables, and two pool tables. In another corner sat three pinball machines. Scattered throughout the room were also pairs of couches facing each other, small tables in between them for anyone who wanted to relax. There were also some recliners scattered around if anyone just wanted to relax in the cool AC that the place offered.
Not many people stayed down here for multiple reasons. One was that they were at the beach and that spending the day hidden was stupid. Another was that the Institute had a similar room. The last reason was that the room was too cold! It was 50 degrees Fahrenheit in the room, 10 degrees Celsius. Only people who didn't feel heat, had hot bodies, or had lots of clothes on could stand to be down there,
So naturally, Shyvana ran there believing that she wouldn't feel the cold and that nobody would be down there. She was right on one of those at least.
Zac was down there playing on the X-box because, and I quote, "The sun made my goo warm in all the wrong places". He also said the only reason he was here was to chat with Riven, the only person he called 'friend' in the Institute.
She didn't feel the cold at all. Her half dragon status allowed her just to heat up her body just fine, even in freezing temperatures.
She sat down next to Zac, still keeping the welt towel wrapped around her chest, her arms sticking out from it. "Whatcha playing?"
Zac looked up and pointed to it. "MSFPS 99…It's called Modern Standard First Person Shooter 99."
"Is it like Call of Duty of Battlefield? I've heard they're popular on that one world called Earth."
He smiled the most he could. "It's both combined! Honestly, there's no real difference between the two, so these creators just combined the two of them and released the "new" game here," he said, doing air quotes when needed.
"So wait…" She raised a hand to stop him. "They made 99 of these on Earth?"
"They did! It's odd though," he said, growing thoughtful. "I don't understand why humans would want to buy and play the same game 99 times, but whatever," he said with a shrug.
"Humans form other worlds make no sense, right?" she said with a sigh.
(This has been the secret surprise rant of COD and Battlefield, fuck those games XD Just my opinion)
"They don't," Zac agreed before looking at her more closely. "You still seem wet. Did you just hope out of the pool or come from the beach? I assume the pool because your feet don't have any sand on them."
Shyvana had been hoping to distract him and herself with talk about videogames for a bit longer before she sighed. She brought her feet up to her chest and looked at him. "The pool…"
Zac saw how uncomfortable she looked and just looked away, grabbing another remote which he offered to her. "You…um…you wanna play?" he asked awkwardly.
Shyvana reached out and took the X-box 1 controlled, holding it upside down. "I…never played a video game before…ever…"
"Seriously?!" He looked at her, shocked. "Zuan makes lots of videogames…how have you never had time to ever even like, look at one or play one? I mean, Piltover makes better ones, but you still get my point."
"I'm a half dragon who has spent most of her life up till now on the run. You tell me."
"Oh…" he deadpanned. "Well when you put it that way…it makes sense…"
"Hmph," she looked at him, her glare fading. "Anyway, teach me how to play this game damnit!"
Zac, being the wonderful expert on every game ever made in the last 100 years, attempted to teach her…but when they went into multiplayer…her skills were…tested so to say. Well her lack of skills were.
She had the gun pointed to the sky as she was gunned down by a plasma cannon.
"Wha-? How?! He's hacking! He has to be hacking, right Zac?" she asked, looking at him with fire in her eyes.
"Huh?" he looked down at her. "He's not hacking, you're just bad. Stop staring at the ceiling when you shoot, look at the player."
"But I thought if they can't see me, they can't shoot me!"
"That's only if you're behind cover!" Zac said with a groan. "They can only see you if you aren't in their line of sight!"
"Oh…" Shyvana said, looking at the controller. "What's line of sight again?"
Zac threw his globby hands in the hair with a sigh. "I give up on you."
"Why?" she asked, still confused.
"You're hopeless with videogames. You know that right?"
She sighed. "I figured as much…I mean at the end I'm always on bottom, and on bottom is bad right?"
"Yeah, I told you that like, five times, maybe six?"
"…sorry…" Shyvana said, looking away as she pouted. "It's cause I have a horrible teacher…"
"No it's not!" Zac yelled.
"Is too!"
"Is not!"
Their argument ended with a smashed controller that Shyvana had been holding, Zac turning off the console, and both of them sitting on opposite sides of the same couch, glaring at opposite walls.
They were both silent until Zac broke it. "You…wanna play foosball?"
"…" Shyvana was silent for a few moments before nodding. "Sure…I guess…"
They got up and went to go play on the foosball table, each of them choosing different colors. Shyvana had red and he had blue, and after flipping a coin, it was decided that Zac would place the ball.
He slid it in, and the game began. Zac had the advantage of being a glob. Because he was a glob he could make more arms come out of himself and control every stick at once.
Shyvana made up for it with her immense power and speed that years of living on the run from dragons gave her. She could keep up with Zac and even forced him into tight corners with her strength that threatened to break the table in half multiple times.
Zac was the first to score, catching Shyvana off guard with his speed at first, but after that goal, she took it serious.
"You ass is ash," she growled as she placed the ball in and scored right away with a surprisingly strong hit that sent it flying into Zac's goal before he could react.
"Wha-?"
"Heh heh," Shyvana gave him a cocky grin. "I'm going to kick your ass to kingdom come."
Zac gave her an equally cocky grin. "In your dreams! I never loose a game!"
"I never loose at anything!"
"Well…besides videogames…" Zac commented right before he scored and let out a loud laugh. "I'm gonna win this."
"No you aren't," she growled as she put the ball back in. "You only got that cause I was off guard!"
"Keep on talking like that you sorry spor-" he had to cut off as he was scored on, glaring as Shyvana laughed at him.
"What was that?"
"…I'm going to kick your ass so bad you'll never play against me again!" he said, eyes filled with gaming passion.
They kept on going at this, hardcore until they had to take a half time, both tired and in need of a drink. Well, Shyvana was, Zac just agreed out of politeness. He also wanted no excuses for when he won.
They left when the game was tied, 5-5 and they were playing until the first player got to 10.
Zac sat on the counter, his legs bouncing as he did so, globs all staying together. "So Shyvana?"
"Yeah?" Shyvana said as she grabbed an orange Fanta from the fridge*. "What's up?"
"I'm just curious. How come you're down here with me? Aren't you happier swimming and stuff? Or at least hanging out with those other champions….what were their names…"
"You mean Nami, Ahri, Soraka, and Sona right?" Shyvana offered to her green friend. Well, he was a friend to her at least.
"Yeah them!" he said, snapping his fingers.
"Well…I kinda…" she mumbled the rest of her sentence as her face got flushed, causing Zac to lean forward in curiosity, a sly grin crossing his face.
"C'mon….you kinda what?"
"Well you see I kinda…" she then mumbled the rest, her face getting brighter.
"C'mon…spill it," Zac said tauntingly.
"I…I lost my top while swimming, lots of people saw it, Jarvan then grabbed my swimsuit for me but had to swim under me, so he probably took a nice look at them!" she blurted out, still looking away from him.
They were both silent for a while, the awkwardness growing into something you could almost touch in the air. Everything was silent until Shyvana cracked open the Fanta and took a large sip from it.
"Well…um…wanna…wanna finish our game?" Zac finally asked, not sure what to do. As far as he knew, he had never had a conversation like this with Riven. Maybe if Riven made him drunk…but that would take a lot of alcohol to do so.
"Sure…" she followed him to the table, but didn't grab the handles. "Hey Zac?"
He looked up, not ready to start either. "Yeah?"
"How come you don't hang out with Riven during the day?"
He blinked at her. He had explained earlier, so he sighed. "Because the sun heats my ooze in all the wrong ways."
"…and?"
"And?" He looked at her, confused. "What do you mean and?"
"Don't you like her?" Zac's ooze went red at the thought. "Not like that, I mean even if you do it's not my place to know. I mean don't you like her as a friend?" His ooze went back to being green as he thought. "If you guys are friends, why not sacrifice something to make her happy. She'd do the same for you, I'm sure."
He was silent for a while before sighing. "You have a point. And with that point I assume you have an idea?"
She smiled just a little. "Bring an umbrella with you!"
He just stared at her. "Come again?"
"You said the sun bothers you right?" He nodded. "Then just carry an umbrella with you! It'll keep the sun off you and at the same time, you can be with and chat with Riven!"
"I didn't bring an umbrella though…" he said, looking at the table, wondering why he didn't think of something so simple.
"You can borrow mine!"
"You brought an umbrella?" he asked, confused. "Why?"
"I didn't know if I would need it or not, so I packed one just in case!" she said, smiling a bit wider.
He smiled back. "Thanks Shyvana…thanks…"
"No problem…now, should we start?"
"Sure…after one thing…"
She looked up, her turn to be confused. "What would that be?"
"Do you like Jarvan?" He watched her face go beat red and laughed. "I figured you liked him, at very least like a friend. Would you do anything for him?"
"Of course!" Shyvana said, bobbing her head. "He would for me as well, I'm sure he would!"
"Well then, about him grabbing your…erm…bathing suit…" they both blushed a bit. "Do you think you could forgive him?"
"Of course!"
"…wait what?"
"Well I don't even have to forgive him, he was helping me!"
"Oh…I dunno why but I thought you'd have to have him apologize to you or something."
She rolled her eyes. "I'm not that emotional."
"Well, there goes my heartfelt advice," Zac said, rolling his eyes. "Anyway, shall we play?"
"You mean you're ready to loose? Right?"
"Oh bitch it's on!"
They kept on playing for many more hours until it was 9 to 9, Shyvana covered with sweat and panting for air. Zac would be in a similar position if it wasn't for the fact he was a blob of green goo that could move, talk, and do stuff.
"What's wrong Shyvana? Getting tired?" he taunted with a laugh. "You can always give up you know!"
"Shut…up…" she growled, eyes burning with fire as she held the ball in her hand. She placed it in front of the wooden figure that was hers, and brought it back. "I…will…win…" she growled at him.
She spun it with enough force they could both hear the crack from wood on the plastic. It went flying straight to his goal, but Zac was fast. He moved to block, only to watch in horror as his piece snapped into pieces.
"Wha-?" was his shocked expression as it smashed into his goal, through his goal, through the board, then through him and into the wall behind him. If it was anyone else, they would have been severely hurt, but Zac just regenerated some goop and he was fine.
The plastic ball was in the wall, smoking, as Shyvana released her stick. It was burning and smoke could be seen coming from where her hand was, as well as where the ball had hit.
"Um…oops…" Shyvana walked over to the paper where they had their score and tallied off one more for her side. "I win."
"Hey no fare!" Zac said, walking over. "I demand a rematch! You weren't playing fairly!"
"I'm sorry," she said, hands on her hips as she leaned closer, her cleavage teasing him. "What rule says I can't use my full strength?"
"Um…I…" He hadn't had paid attention to her body during the match, but without the towel it was…enticing… "Never mind you win," he said hurriedly, looking away as his face stayed flush. "Wanna play me in some online game?"
"No way! I'd loose," she said with a chuckle.
"Thanks for the advice though…earlier I mean," Zac said, still embarrassed. "I can come for the umbrella tomorrow?"
"Sure thing! And don't worry about it, I'm glad to help," she said with a smile.
"So anyway, what should we play ne-" he was interrupted Shyvana held up her hand, eyes confused.
"Do you hear that?"
"Hear what?" he asked, looking around.
Shyvana tip toed to the door and slammed it open, only to see nobody there. She looked down and saw a letter. She picked it up slowly and went back in, looking it over. All it said was "To Shyvana" on the front.
She raised it to show to Zac. "What do you think it is?"
"A love letter?" Zac offered as he handed it back to Shyvana.
Her face went bright red as she began opening it. "W-w-what are you a mornon? Nobody would write me a love letter!" She opened it and quickly read it, before her face went bright red.
"I was right, wasn't I?" Zac asked with a smug smile.
"Y…yeah," Shyvana said softly. She grabbed her towel and wrapped it around her waist, standing up. "Thanks for keeping me company though. I'll see you later, okay?"
"Okay…" As she left, Zac stared off into space. "Wait, isn't today when the fireworks are going to go off?"
Shyvana slowly approached the cliff overlooking the beach as the letter instructed her to do so. She set her towel down and laid down on top of it, staring out to the night sky as she waited.
Down bellow her, far enough to where she couldn't see, Corki and Jinx, at the orders of Ahri were setting up the fireworks for the night show. Off to the right, pass a bit of forested area that blocked Shyvana's sight, all of the champions minus a few sat, waiting for the show. They talked idly among themselves, waiting for the show.
Shyvana stretched out and groaned, working her muscles. God that feels good, she thought as she groaned softly. They were so tense, I thought they would snap. She then just relaxed, resting her head on her crossed arms as she watched the moon rise into the sky.
She then heard the first firework wiz off into the sky, making her eyes trail after it until it blew up into a beautiful array of sparkles and light. Her eyes went wide before she smiled.
"So pretty…" she whispered under her breath.
"Aren't they?" Another voice said, belonging to Jarvan the Fourth. He had walked up behind her as the first firework went off.
She squeaked and whirled around, sitting up and blushing. "When did you get here?" She asked quickly.
"Just now when the first firework went off," he said as he walked over. "Mind if I sit here with you?"
"Go ahead…" she said softly before turning back to the view. She could feel his presence as he came closer and didn't even have to look to know he was sitting next to her.
She felt him lean his shoulder touch hers gently as they sat there. She stared and watched in awe as the fireworks went off, one at a time.
Jarvan watched her in amusement. "First time seeing them?" he asked softly.
She just nodded. "Never had a chance to celebrate the New Year or do anything where you would normally see fireworks," she said softly. "It's beautiful to me…"
"It's beautiful no matter how many times you see it…" he said just as softly.
They just watched the fireworks for a bit before Shyvana felt something moving by her hand. All of a sudden, she felt a hand on her own, and looked down to make sure. It was Jarvan's hand. She looked up at him, blinking in surprise.
"J-jarvan?" she asked, staring at him. "What are you doing?"
He squeezed her hand, looking at her. "Can I tell you something?"
"W-what is it?"
He leaned in. "In all honesty, I don't know why but I do love you."
"W-was there an insult in there?" she asked, trying to distract herself.
"Nope." He gave her a smile that made her heart flutter as a firework blew up, white sparkles falling from the sky. "I just want to know if you feel anything for me? I feel amazing whenever you smile at me, my heart just wants to burst from everything I feel…" His face went flush. "I'm sorry, I'm not good at trying to describe these feelings."
"It's fine," she said. She squeezed his hand softly. "Um…I guess I can just show you how I feel."
Not waiting for Jarvan, thinking he set up this situation to ask her if she liked him, she pulled him forward with his hand. She then leaned in and planted her lips on his gently.
Jarvan's eyes went wide in surprise, but he didn't pull away. He wrapped an arm around her and kissed her back, stroking her hair softly.
Shyvana's eyes fluttered as he kept on doing that. They just stayed like that, lost in their brand new romance that someone had set up. That someone was in the bushes.
Draven held a coconut in his hand, bouncing it in his hand with an evil chuckle. He gave an evil grin as he tilted his arm back, ready to throw. This is revenge bitch, he thought. Nobody messes with Draven! Not even Draven!
Ahri wrapped a tail around Draven's neck, slowly chocking him as she leaned in. "Drop the coconut," she snarled, making him pee his pants a bit as he did so. "Good," she snarled. "Now what you're going to do, is keep on walking away until you can't see them. If you still try to bother them again tonight, I swear on the gods," she leaned in and gave him a look that chilled him to the soul. "Not even in death will you be able to forget what I did to your body."
"Y-y-y-yes m-m-m-ma'am," he said, quivering before he turned tail and ran.
Ahri stared at him, wondering what that smell was she had smelled coming from his pants. …Urine? She asked herself, before shrugging. Whatever. She then turned back to the two lovebirds and leaned on her shoulder, a hand propped up against her cheek as she sighed.
They're so cute together! She said wistfully. I wish I could be like that with Sona…oh well, whatever. She pulled out a camera and began silently taking pictures of them.
Right then a firework went off, a pink heart appearing behind the two of them. She took maybe a dozen pictures of that one scene as more fireworks went off behind it, a soft sigh coming from her as she set the camera down.
They'll thank me for this tomorrow, she thought, smiling. Now just to watch, nice and quiet like.
After a nice, long, session of making out, they finally separated, Jarvan reaching up to brush some hair out of her face.
"Wow…that was…um…" he said at a loss for words.
Shyvana just giggled softly and smiled at him, giving him a passionate, but much shorter, smaller kiss.
"Don't talk," she said, smiling as she rested her head on his shoulder. "Just relax in this moment."
He wrapped an arm around her, squeezing her softly. "Okay. If you say so," he said, planting a soft kiss on her neck. They sat like that as they watched the fireworks go off in front of them in a beautiful display of sparks and light, keeping their attention captured.
He rubbed her shoulder gently throughout the night, Shyvana's body providing both of them with enough heat to keep them both nice and warm.
As the show went on, on the wind, brought to them from the place where all the champions were, the soothing melody that only Sona could make came to them.
Shyvana smiled and looked up at Jarvan, who turned and looked down at her. They went into another deep kiss that lasted the rest of the show. Jarvan's hands began to slide down from her shoulders, sending a shiver up her body.
She broke away before anything could get serious though, right as the finale went off.
"Look!" She said to Jarvan, as nearly 100 fireworks were set off at once. They swirled together and past each other in a pattern only capable of those who dealt with explosives all their lives.
When they blew up, it filled with night sky with lights of all colors, forming beautiful flowers of light that sprouted from each other. In the sky, it said, "Kiss your lover!"
Shyvana and Jarvan looked at each other and smiled, kissing each other again before breaking away and just sitting there even though the fireworks were done.
He rubbed her shoulder before looking at her. "Should we get up?"
"Just a little bit more," she said softly, leaning against him. He smiled and nodded just relaxing with her.
Smiling down at her, he watched her fall asleep against him, her eyes closing slowly as her breathing slowed down. He kissed her forehead. I love you, he thought, not realizing he said it aloud as well, much to Ahri's gleeful enjoyment before she scampered away, leaving the two lovebirds to themselves.
*Orange Fanta is the best FTW!
So yeah, if you like it review, follow, and favorite please! Besides the fact I decided to make fun of two giant franchises, I wanted to advertise something else. I help out here with building and being a moderator, so yeah. Even if it is a different game, Minecraft. I help out on a server that belongs to a good friend of mine. The I.P is as follows. So yeah. I build maps for them, and will work on more of it during the summer. I don't own it, but if you play MC and are curious, you can come and visit or stay and play. He's just a good friend of mine, so I figured I'd help him out and do something for him. If you're gonna get upset that I decided to advertise on my fanfic, sorry. I just wanted to do something to help him out. Also, I wanted to do this, my arm's not being twisted, and I'm not being paid. I'm just doing it to be a good friend.
Anyway, Nai nai! Qoppy did his upload! I hope it was another enjoyable read!
