Entry no. 27: Dark

First off, a few words of thanks (I finally took the time to do it properly). Thank akirasatsuna and fanofthisfiction for their reviews! For those people who hestitate or don't care about reviewing much, mind that it's very encouraging for the writer (i.e. me, in this case) and it just might make me update more often (no blackmail...). Simply said, I appreciate it oh so much. Another thanks of mine go to Ourane and Azreal Erza (hope I didn't misspell...), who followed, and Scorpion140494, who faved my fic. Lots of love to you all, guys. You keep me coming back to these oneshots again and again.

No pairing this time… I'm sorry that it's so short.

There are places you are never alone at, and it seemed to Sasuke that Otogakure was one of them.

Even when he was in his room, being the only person there, he wasn't alone.

Because there was always the darkness.

Creeping and stifling.

The silent eye that watched your every single move.

If you put a hand in front of a lit candle, it would watch you move and copy every single movement.

It was more precise a copier than Kakashi.

Some people made friends with the darkness, embraced it. Let it comfort them when they were alone.

Sasuke had been alone for his whole life, or at least he thought himself to be.

And now he wanted to be.

He wanted to cut himself off, so there would be no bonds to bind him, nothing to stop him from his ultimate goal.

But there was the dark.

Threatening to swallow him whole.
