A/N: Sorry about the long delay of this chapter, I know I left you on a big cliffhanger. But luckily school is out for now and I can focus on a more regular upload schedule. I'm a bit rusty now so give me a little leeway.

Allen emerged in a dark citadel that seemed to stretch on in either direction, he was up to his ankles in water. It seemed very similar but he couldn't exactly place his finger on it. Then it hit him this was Road's dream world. The candles the dark and creepy but somewhat welcoming feel of the atmosphere all came together. He had only been here once before all the way in the rewinding town, when he had first met Road.

"Road? Road where are you?" Allen searched around but Road was nowhere. "I'm right here silly." He quickly looked forward and there she was. "Well technically this is all me. But here is me." She threw herself into a hug to prove her point. "Road," Allen asked "Are we in your dream world?" She released him looking a bit more serious but still having that playful tone to her voice. "Yup." She nodded her head "I couldn't really do much to help you in your empty head." She turned and pointed to one of her well known doors. "That's the way out but~"

Allen quirked his head to the side "But…" She turned back to him with a much more serious face all playfulness gone. "It's gonna hurt … you. The only way I know how to fix your head is to make you go through all the things you consider failures and have you accept them." Allen looked to the door and back at her. "What's the hard part?" She sighed and pulled him into another hug "I'm the cause of some of those and you have to relive them. But if you're set on this I'll give you a hint. Learn to let go of your doubt." Allen released himself from her grip and walked to the door and opened it. Road was quick to pull him back right before he went in. Turning him to face her, she kissed him slowly and held it for a bit. When she finally ended the kiss she said "I'm with you … all the way." And with that she pushed him in.

Emerging on the other side he fell down onto a dirt path. Standing up he dusted himself off inspecting his surroundings. It seemed like just a quaint path through the forest, nothing he hadn't seen before. No other decision to make he started to walk. Not much farther he found that the forest seemed to grow larger as he went, and mist began to form seemingly nowhere, until he stopped at a scene he remembered all too well. "Marshall … Yeegar?" The sight just as horrifying as it first was. "You could've saved him had you not left." Allen turned to face the new voice only to find it was Finder Jarry. "But … I couldn't –" He was interrupted by the outraged man. "Couldn't what?! Couldn't have known?! Couldn't stay?! What couldn't you have done?!" Jarry turned his back on Allen "That's all the order ever heard from you. All Lenalee ever heard. How you couldn't do something."

"Tell me how many lives could've been saved, how many people could've been protected if only you had moved faster, were stronger, if you didn't care about demons." Jarry's voice grew deeper, his hair elongated and turned blood red and the finder cloak changed into that of a marshal's until it was cross before him, and the scene changed to that of the generals final living quarters "Tell me idiot apprentice, would I have died if you had only tried to be observant. Tried to push yourself, Realized the trap before it sprung." Walking to Allen, Cross looked him in the eye. "You were weak. From the moment I found you you would never live up to expectations." Turning away from him Allen tried to hide the thoughts from his mind the ones that would always haunt him. His constant doubt. Cross scoffed at him "A failure to the end, couldn't even save Suman, and then you go on and fall asleep in a forest while all of your friends risk their lives trying to get to Edo."

"enough…" Allen managed to say he knew it all to be true but he didn't want to hear it from someone else. "Geez Allen you couldn't even make it back to me the one you're practically head over heels for." The voice was now Lenalee's, Allen didn't have to look to realize that. "And you said you would protect me and Alma damn beansprout." Kanda no doubt, Allen was doubled over now he couldn't take the words every last failure coming back to him. "Enough…" Allen said a bit louder but they wouldn't stop the voices grew in number. "Geez as a bookman I thought they would at least put me with someone strong." Lavi. "That kid was the point breaker, hmmph, maybe in the negatives." The marshalls. "ENOUGH!" but the doubt continued to wash over him like a waterfall. Falling over as the words burned into his mind. "Hey guys look he recessing his mind again because hes a weakling." A roar of laughter emerged from the crowd now gathered around him. Allen was about to give in when he heard a voice louder than the rest. It permeated from his mind.

'Look at you, you gonna give up to this. Whatever happened to "Don't stop keep moving forward"' Allen looked up to see himself but not himself his skin was ashen, his eyes yellow, and in a dark suit and top hat, he was drinking tea from a way to delicate teacup that seemed it would shatter if breathed upon. For some reason it reminded him of Tyki. "Who … Who are you?" The other Allen dawned a look of surprise on his face and tossed the teacup over his shoulder. "Oh I forgot to introduce ourself! How dumb of us." He smiled and stood up and walked to Allen helping him off the ground and shaking his hand. "im you, or your me. I keep forgetting." Allen was very confused by this him he seemed the opposite of what he was "Now. That's exactly who I am. Well more like im everything you refuse to be which I guess is why I look like a noah." He said while checking himself out "Im the side you want to be but don't want to be either. The you you envision but don't reach for. Well at least not hard enough." Allen B walked around Allen give him a quick once over. "Thanks to pretty little Road I can see you now and you can see me it almost like we are crazy. But dreams are crazy the real extent of her power is mad, mad I tell you." Allen needed to stop this "Are you here to help me or ramble on." Allen B stopped and looked at him "Only if you are ready to start walking again." And at that Allen was slammed back into the middle of the crowd of doubt. But the insults didn't hurt and the words he had long forgotten came back to him. 'Don't stop, keep moving forward' Allen turned to all of his doubt, his fear, all that had encumbered him. "No more." Allen stated "I refuse to be dragged down by my own chains. Power radiated from Allen blowing back the surrounding shadows.

"I will walk the path before me and I will never stop moving forward." Dark energy as well as beams of innocence emitted from him. "I will be the bridge between humans and Noah and I will not let anything stop me until I save this world." Allens skin fell ashen and his eyes flashed gold as waves of dark energy and innocence fell from him until all doubt and regret was washed away by his power. As the power subsided Allen looked around at the now clear plains that rolled. "Road where are you?"

"Right here~." Allen turned around to see her standing there with a huge grin on her face. "I knew my Allen could do it. You see these plains these reflect the state of your mind now that the forest of doubt is clear you can clearly see your goal. Now quick we need to get back before Nea completely takes over your head." She gave him no time to respond as she pulled him through another door. They emerged just where they had left but it was completely different as you could see everything especially as Nea sat just before them. He looked up from the book he was reading. "Oh your back I just finished tidying up the place." Road and Allen stared in complete disbelief "But… I thought … and you…huh." Nea smiled and stood from his chair. "What you thought I wanted to take over Allen he may have had an empty head but I could never take him over after he goes and accepts the noah in him. So I just gave up." Road still had her jaw on the floor and pointed to Nea "You … suck." Nea laughed "Wouldn't be the first time I heard that. Now my dear Road may I have a last word with Allen. Alone." Road adamantly refused until Allen stopped her "Let me have one last moment before I wake up with Nea." She tried refusing but ultimately gave up but left with a final warning "If you get stuck again im not helping you this time." and disappeared from his mind.

"Now Nea what did you want from me." Nea sat down and relaxed in his chair. "I hope you know" he started "That by accepting the Noah in your head means you are a Noah out there too. As well with that let me give a bit of knowledge if you ever need help controlling your noah memory of destruction call to me. I'm not going anywhere soon. I'll miss your company Allen." Allen smirked at Nea "You never wanted to take over my head did you." Nea chuckled "Actually I did but this last time was a front somebody's gotta take the blame." He leaned forward in his chair. "It our little secret okay?" Allen smiled and turned to face Roads door out of his mind "Got it Nea."

Now Tyki was not the most reminiscent of Noah but he was pretty sure that he hadn't left Allens room a total mess when he had left for some food. He was also pretty sure Road was not awake and that Allen did not look like a Noah. "Hi Tyki~. Allen's having some final words with Nea" Road exclaimed as she rushed forward and hugged her uncle. "Tyki couldn't take his eyes of the room that looked like a warzone. "Road what happened while you were in his head?" She smiled and released him " It's a log story but Allens a full Noah now. Well except for the Stigmata." Tyki was only now processing everything in his head "Yeah I can see that what happened to the room?" He finally turned his attention to the young Noah. She looked around as if only seeing the mess for the first time. "Oh it must've been his awakening if was quite the show." Tyki finally move to take his seat up off the floor and placing it where it used to be before sitting in it. "I'll say, it shook the ark. I thought we were crashing into something."

Tyki turned to see the Earl standing in full clowny uniform. "Has little Allen finally awakened Tyki-pet?" Tyki scowled at the name but sucked it in. "It appears so but if he is with us or against us is still unknown." Allen then stirred and shot upright in his bed breathing heavily. He looked at his hands curling his fingers to feel them for the first time in a long time. He looked around to see Tyki, Road, and the Earl all looking at him expectantly. "Um hello. Am I here? Am I … conscience?" Road ran over and hugged him "Of course you are silly~"The Earl walked to the bedside and looked Allen up and down. "Welcome to the Black Ark Allen Walker. You are one of us now."
