Chapter 3 The Unwanted One
A/N: Sorry for the late update, I'm quite being lazy again as my focused were on reading fanfic to get some motivation and inspiration. Anyways, there is nothing much is this chapter but I do hope you enjoy reading it(-^〇^-)

Reversed were the underlings of Link Joker, an agent of Void, The unknown entity that planned to conquer and destroyed the world. The Reversed were liked an evil force that possessed normal people who succumb by temptation and power to become stronger than ordinary. In exchanged they loss their right mind and turn into a cold blooded monster who wanted nothing more than to caused trouble. A perfect puppet for the massive invasion. It was said they once a normal being turned into reversed not only their personality changed but also their physical attributes, they become stronger than anyone else and they seemed to hold dark power that no ordinary being possessed that helps them to complete their mission.

As Aichi managed to lay Kai down at his bed and calmed down himself from breaking down. He turned to the mess that the brunette had caused into his room even though he can't see a thing. Luckily, For him he activated his own 'field' that they were in a different dimension but at the same time they were in the same space and time. It only helps not to alarmed those people who weren't inside the scene and indulge their blissful ignorance as Aichi thought that is the best way to coped things, to be not aware so no harm will come in your way.
'Seriously, you caused one heck of a mess. Kai-kun' Aichi sigh tiredly then he frown slightly as he sense another presence that entered in his field and there is only one person who he could think of that would possibly pay a visit at him even in this kind of time.
His suspicion were confirmed when his mystery intruder finally spoken to him after a long silence.
"What are you planning on doing with them, Aichi?"
Aichi just smiled at him. Yes, him. It's a guy by the sound of its voice and he knew very well the owner of it. He slightly bowed where he heard him speak to show some respect at the older teen. "Hello, Daigo-san. It's been awhile hasn't it?" Aichi raised his head to stare blindly at the figure standing at his threshold. "Though I'm quite surprise to know you're here. So mind telling me what caused this sudden visit?"
Daigo narrowed his eyes at the boy who is obviously ignoring his question. "I believe I'm the first one who'd asked a question here,Aichi."
"Is that so?" Aichi continue to stare where he believed where Daigo's position. "So you came here because you're worried that I'll harm them or worse I'll kill them am I right?'
Silence is the only response he gotten from the latter.
"I'll take that as a 'yes' but Daigo-san I'm not that narrow-minded to hurt them just because they 'forsaken' and nearly killed me. I'm not the person who hold grudges because of my past. Please, don't disappoint me any further of your silent accusation"
Daigo clenched his fist and gritted his teeth at his annoyance because the blue haired boy trying to be cryptic so he wouldn't be able to read him. "Then what are you doing here? Aren't you supposed to be in a very far away place?"
"I believe that is none of your business at all." Aichi face darkened as Daigo mention the thing he didn't want to hear at all. "And I think I've already said too much so I suggest for you to leave at once if you still insist in staying then I won't guarantee that you will leave unscathed."
Daigo resist from sighing as he already expected that their conversation will turn out like this so he decided to leave the boy in whatever he is planning with the rest as he already confirm half of his suspicion at the reason of his sudden reappearance again. Before he completely leave Aichi alone with the sleeping form of Kai Toshiki. "Could you at least promise me one thing, Aichi?"
Aichi tilted his head with silent demand the latter went on.
Daigo smiled sadly at the boy. "Don't give up no matter what. Don't give in.. Fight and Survive so you can return at where you should really be. They're all awaiting for your return so fight not only for your sake but theirs as well." He didn't wait for the latter's reply as he immediately disappeared with the mess Kai's caused in Aichi's room as those words escaped in his lips.
Aichi went rigid as he heard those and glared blindly where the older teen standing before then he lowered his head,his bangs covering most of his face, Fist tightly clenching that his knuckles starting to turned white. "Don't mess with me...as such thing is nothing more but a delusion created by the old naive me..Nobody cares someone like me, The unwanted one."

Aichi was awoken by a bloodcurdling scream then it turned into a pit of fangirling giggles. He groaned loudly enough to alert the intruders as he knew is the owner of those giggles and whispering but that didn't stopped them from their actions. It was his mother and younger sister who entered to check his condition.
And now, they found him sleeping with Kai which is super embarrassing for his part and he silently envied Kai as he put him into a deep slumber so he could function perfectly in the following hours as knowing the brunette he won't pay attention to his health at all.
His thoughts were interrupted when a gentle yet teasing tone of a woman spoke. Sendou Shizuka, Aichi and Emi's mother."Aichi, you should have told us that a friend of yours will be staying so we won't interrupt you guys, so how is it? Did he go home run?" Then she giggled at the flustered reaction of her son.
Aichi groaned silently as he tried to restrain himself from throwing his pillow at his laughing family members.
Damn, Why both of his mother and sister into BL?
Aichi covered his face from further embarrassment as they simultaneously tease him about Kai.
"Aichi? Is he rough or gentle with you last night?" Emi excitedly ask him.
Oh, for Pete's sake. Stop it already can't you see nothing happened?! And where the hell did you learn something like that?. Though he had a sneaking suspicion that Emi went at their mother's private collection.
Aichi wanted to shout at them but he can't at all so he tried to ignore their ranting about his love life- Er- Life.
Then Shizuka avert her attention away from her son and Aichi expected that she will scolded Emi from prying at her collection of BL novels and mangas but she didn't what do Aichi expected her to do.
"Where did you learn that?" Shizuka asked but her voice is firm which made the two siblings flinched.
"Um- In your room?" Emi stuttered then bowed at their mother and apologized. "I'm sorry! I got curious so I check it out"
Shizuka was silent for a moment then she asked with a blank expression. "And what did you think about it after reading?"
"It's the best they should stop discriminate people who is loved with the same gender! " Emi beamed currently forgotten her real situation.
Without warning, Shizuka tackle her daughter with a tight embrace. "Yes, it is! But promise me you'll just read the light hearted theme, Kay?"
"Yes." Emi nodded enthusiastically.
Aichi let out a tired sigh. He was aware when they're done talking about novels, they'll start interrogating him endlessly about his real relationship with the brunette who is sleeping deeply besides him.
This will be a long day.
He just know it.

Kai was laying down at his favorite bench,resting or rather napping when he heard footsteps approaching him. He decided to ignore it as he assumed it was his loud and annoying friend, Miwa Taishi. But he was proven wrong when the person spoke to him.
"Kai-kun? Are you asleep? You shouldn't be sleeping here as you'll catch a cold." The other reprimanded him lightly.
The brunette opened his eyes slightly to peered at the direction of the voice.
Kai knew the owner of this soft and gentle voice but he can't recall the name nor face of the kind hearted being beside him. He was aware this is a dream but also he must remembered this person before it's too late..
Too late for what?
But something stopping him from completely finding who is this phantom from his dreams and memories.
"If you started to think that you're unwanted and unloved, That's the time you're wrong as there are people who cares for you, Kai-kun." He paused then Kai saw him smile gently at him. "I care for you,Kai-kun.. I love you. So don't think nobody won't missed you nor care for you. We don't blame you at all... So let's go home, Kai-kun"
Kai can't- No, he will never defy this person as he comply reaching out the latter's hand.

Kai jolted up as he snapped back from awareness and reality.
"Oh, you're awake? That's great! Are you hungry?" A voice of lady inquired softly.
Kai turned his attention to the voice. She was standing in front of the threshold holding a tray of food for him. Kai assumed she was Sendou Aichi's mother as they almost look identical to each other.
"Who are you?"
"Oh my apologies! That's rude of me, I'm Sendou Shizuka. Aichi's and Emi's mother. Emi was Aichi's little sister." Shizuka chirped.
Kai nodded with acknowledgment. "I'm Kai Toshiki."
"Nice to meet you, so mind telling me what is your relationship with my son?" Shizuka set down the tray on Kai's lap so would be able to eat.
"I'm his friend." The answer is automatic. It just came out before Kai could stopped himself from saying it.
"Just a friend?" Shizuka pressed.
Kai nodded.
"Such a shame." Shizuka mumbled in dismay.
Kai didn't hear what Shizuka mumbled to herself as he was busy looking around in the room for the blunette then he caught the disappointment in her expression and he can't helped to arched an eyebrow at her strange reaction.
"Is there something the matter, Sendou-san?" Kai questioned.
Shizuka snapped in her stupor then shook her head gently. "It's nothing."
It's quite obvious that she's lying but Kai didn't commented a thing about it so he decided to changed the topic.
"Where's Aichi?" Kai blinked. Aichi? Since when did he become close to the boy that he started calling him in his first name? It shocked him that he carelessly called someone by their given name without knowing them fully well. But Sendou Aichi was different so he will just go with the flow.
"Oh, Aichi went to school." Shizuka answered.
Those words caught Kai's attention and he turned slightly at the other. "He went to school despite the danger he might encounter? And you just let him?"
"It's not like I didn't talk to him about the harm he might encounter because of his disability but it was the first time he made a request as if it's his last...So I relent after a long debate and reasoning that seems won't worked out because he is stubborn enough not to listen at anybody even in his own family."
Kai made no reply and finish his meal silently then he thanked Shizuka for the free meal and stood up to leave.
"Um, Ah? Kai-kun where are you going?"
Kai didn't answer for a moment and Shizuka was about to repeat her question when Kai cut her short by asking another question.
"Tell me, Where's school Aichi's attending to?"
"Why?"
Kai glanced slightly at her. "Why? What?"
"Why are you concern about his well being? What exactly do you want from my son?"
"Isn't it obvious? Aichi needs me and I care for him. That's more than enough explanation isn't it? And I don't want anything from him in return so mind telling me where he is at the moment?"
Shizuka stared at Kai, searching any deceit from his words but found none. Only a unknown and unfathomable emotions swirling in those jade eyes which she can't decipher because the instant it appears with just one second its gone.
"Miyaji Academy." Shizuka finally answered after confirming the brunette won't hurt her son in any ways. Well, that's what she hoped to happen.
"Is that so? Thank you..." After Kai had said that. He was gone much to the latter astonishment.
"Please, take care of Toshiki .."
All she could do is hoped that everything she had witnessed and experienced was a lie. But even reality was disoriented by illusions and dreams. Reality will remain cruel to them because in the end nothing was left at all, Only the taste of bitter end of losing someone you held dear.
"Please, Don't die...Don't disappear, Aichi.." She mumbled shakily as she held her hand at her chest..

Aichi couldn't believed it. Early in the afternoon he is already caught in trouble as he was cornered by bunch of delinquent in their school at god knows where. Male Changing room.
How did they managed to enter in this prestigious school with their bad reputation? Probably by bribing the school. What a bunch of idiots and hypocrite.
Aichi's musing was interrupted when someone grabbed his shirt but that didn't startled the blue haired boy.
"Hey, Sendou. Why are you even here when you're completely a trash? Unable to see and speak? You should go back to your home and be babied by your parents as you're a useless pest trying to be normal which annoys the living shit out of us!"
Aichi eyes darkened.
Everyday is the same, they always cornered him as they find his existing annoying because he wanted to live normal like them, who is striving for-?!
There's a loud thud and cursing.
"WHO THE HECK ARE YOU?! LET ME GO!" The person who cornered him shouted at the mystery attacker and his savior.
"I thought this is a prestigious school which means students here are highly discipline and has morals but it seems like it just a lie." The voice muttered with disgust.
Aichi's eyes widened as he didn't immediately recognized who saved him from another bruise that might paint his body for weeks.
The person who he thought don't care about him came to his aid!
Kai Toshiki standing before him, immobilizing the others.
But why is here?
"Tell me, what's wrong wanting to live normal? You idiots just want to messed with the person you find can do the things you can't because you're envious, am I right?" Kai continued then Aichi heard a loud crash probably Kai punch the other. "If you ever dare to lay your filthy finger at Aichi. Your face will not be the only one will be busted. I'll be your opponent remember , scram!"
Aichi could almost see them cowering in fear as they dashed out in the room. After all Kai was truly a frightening person when he was angered.
A warmth blossomed in Aichi's chest and he couldn't help but smiled grateful to Kai.
"Are you hurt?" Kai asked as he return his focus at the blunette once he was sure that they truly gone in eyesight.
Aichi shook his head gently.
Kai didn't respond to that as he approached the boy. "You should get changed as your P.E class is about to start."
Before Aichi could stopped Kai from tugging his shirt up, Kai already removed it with one swift motion.
Kai eyes widened at the horrendous sight that greets him. "What the?!" Kai was too speechless to say a thing. Aichi's body was surrounded by scars and stitches. And Kai could see that there were new addition to the gruesome injury in the petite form of the boy.
Aichi looked away, ashame. He didn't want to see Kai such horrible view.
"Who did this? What happened?" Kai asked even he knew the other won't answer him and he was right when the blunette shook his head.
Kai stared at the blue haired boy who seemed doesn't want to look at him. Well, it really doesn't matter whether he look or not as he can't see anything at all.
Slowly, Kai caressed gently Aichi's cheeks which made the other gasp out of shock and flustered.
"Do you know why I made a blood oath to you?" Kai asked.
Aichi shook his head.
"You're a walking human filled with mysteries and secrets and I find that intriguing about you. That's right, the reason I made a blood oath and vow to protect you is I will unravel everything you're hiding from these world, from me.. So be prepared." Kai finished and give a last glance at the blunette before walking out in the room so he could do what he must.
Aichi stared blindly, dumbfounded at where Kai was.
He snapped in his stupor then face-palmed as he dug his very grave. He knew Kai could be stubborn but this is a new level of stubbornness and he was serious about it.
"I need to be more cautious when I'm near at him so I won't tell something I must not speak of." Aichi thought bitterly as he hurried off changing into his P.E uniform because he was already been late for ten minutes at his next class.

The P.E class was uneventful and quite strange for Aichi as nobody seemed bothering him which surprise him but he is thankful for that as it ended without any casualties and stress at his part.
And so now, he is inside the class room looking at the direction where he could feel the wind. It would be nice if he could see a thing as living in the dark wasn't fun at all as forever you'll live in fear of so many unknown possibilities that would caused something you don't want to lost.
The room abruptly went silence and Aichi assumed their teacher have finally arrived and he was right about it when he heard him spoke.
"Alright, class I have news for you today will have a new transferee" He started.
His words earned chorus of whispering which can't be helped as it was not ordinary for a student to transfer into another school in almost half year of a school year.
Aichi become intrigued who might be transferring this late of year.
"You can come in now." Their teacher demanded.
Slowly, Aichi heard the sliding door of the room opened and their is a collective gasps when the transferee entered.
He bet he/she is good looking that his classmates started to whispered at one another.
"Silence!" Their teacher hissed in annoyance and that instantly silenced the entire class as their history teacher could be frightening when anger. Then Aichi could almost see that his teacher glaring dagger at transferee and the transferee return the glare as the older one spoke in a deadly tone. "Introduce yourself."
"Kai Toshiki." The latter simply said.
Aichi almost fell in his seat upon hearing the other introduced himself and he can feel that Kai's set at him which make him squirm a little because of the attention he's getting from the brunette and at the class.
His thoughts were cut in short when he heard somebody asked his seatmate to mood somewhere else which the latter immediately agreed as the brunette giving him the chills at his cold gaze.
Aichi turned his head at his new seat mate which is Kai Toshiki.
Kai noticed Aichi's gaze so he glance at him and smirk. "I won't let you escape as your my target although my objective was different from the first and didn't managed to fulfill it but this time around expect the opposite.. I'll protect you and never leave your side while unlocking the truth you're hiding from these world.. From me."
At his declaration, Aichi eyes darkened as Kai saw an emotion flickers there at the moment. Sadness.
Then Aichi glanced back at his side and stared emotionless,unseeing at the blue skies.
Kai narrowed his eyes at the boy. 'I swear I'll know the truth even if it cost me everything... I'll know what happened between the connection you have with me in the past..'

Daigo abruptly halted from his tracks and let out an exasperation sigh.
"Why don't you show yourself?" He grumbled.
There's no reply. The only sound can be heard is the rustling of leaves and wind which made Daigo more annoyed but refrain himself from attacking his invisible follower and waited patiently for the other to reply and show itself.
Slowly there's a movement in the dark, a silhouette came out and footsteps break the eerie silence. Then the figure stopped inches away from the fighter, revealing to be a girl slightly younger than him.
"This is a surprise what business you have with me for me to receive your attention, ninth head of Link Joker or should I called you, Tatsunagi Suiko?"
Ninth or The girl named Suiko smirked at the annoyance of the other. She's wearing a sailor uniform of Fukuhara High(A/N:Correct me of I'm wrong about the school she's attending with Ren,Kay?).
"My,my aren't you an impatient one, Daigo?" She mocked him.
"Cut the chase what do you want?" Daigo snarled at her. He doesn't have time for her games.
"You're right, Kai Toshiki strayed his path upon siding with the boy but that's not what I came here." She paused then her expression turned stern and deadly. "Tell me, Daigo.. Is Sendou Aichi real or he is just an illusion created by our figment of memories?"
