Hi, new chapter, homework all done, until today when I got an essay to complete for two weeks time, half term next week in England! More fan fiction :)! Please vote on my poll on my profile page, or IM me what pairings you want. :)

The wind howled through the streets. Silence filled every alleyway, sucking any words into whispers, so the fragile silence would not break. The town was quieter than it had ever been, frost span its way through the streets, its icy fingers punching the rainbow of cars in every street. Any magical being would have been able to sense it. The pounding of a soul, made of magic roaming in the darkness. The soul was wandering alone, the magic power that it enveloped was raw power, hidden and kept secret for so long. So long darkness had tried to gain control, but the raw magical energy was too strong. The magical energy, powerful enough to save so many lives, and it could kill many more than it could save. The owner would always be lonely.

Merlin woke from another fitful sleep, the sunlight came in through his window, and he was finally free. Merlin's magical power was strong enough to save his life. He was lucky, much luckier than he could ever believe. In fact the magic that he had got from Leola had helped save his life. If that sequence of events had never happened, he would never have survived. Even his doctor's were hailing it a miracle.

Merlin stared at his suitcase, which lay packed by the side of the bed. He smiled, Leola had visited then. He could hear the doctors coming down the hallway, but he didn't want to have to talk to them now. He heaved himself out of his bed and grabbed his wheeled suitcase, for the first time in four weeks he ran, he ran out of that small box room and disappeared along the hygienic corridors.

Arthur leant back in his desk chair. He used to love Sundays, not anymore. It meant tutor day, all day, without stopping.

"Arthur! Don't lean like that, you will injure your back, now answer the flipping question!"

Hannah always made Arthur jump, her snap judgements were never wrong. It was annoying.

"Answer, the, QUESTION!"

"Hannah, calm down. Gosh, look at Arthur, he's shaking," Rachel was always much calmer than Hannah, and she was a bit more lenient when he couldn't understand something in maths.

Arthur's eyes sparkled at Rachel, he was willing to escape. Rachel nodded, whilst holding Hannah back, Arthur made his escape. He could hear their bickering in his room when he was finally free. Finally free to see the professor, and hopefully catch a glimpse of Merlin.

O

Merlin stared, he was finally home. The only thing blocking him from a nice cup of tea was a frozen door knob. It just wouldn't turn, is hands slipped on it. Nothing he did could turn it. He gave up and he decided that he would use some magical energy, even though there was hardly any left. His eyes flashed gold and all because he wanted to surprise Leola. He was early after all.

Merlin stepped inside, when he stopped. Leola lay in the middle of the floor, surrounded by gold magic, which had become ingrained in the carpet, her brunette hair lay around her, her head lay to the left, and her eyes were shut.

Merlin didn't understand, he was next to her trying to get some kind of response. He shook her, "Leola?! Leola can you hear me?! Please!"

In her unconscious like state, Leola moved her head to the other side, and what Merlin saw, made him take in a sharp breath.

Ooh, cliff hanger! I didn't know that ending was going to happen!

Review if you want :) It helps me learn.
