I am so sorry. I had writer's block, and then my laptop deleted my whole story. Usually I just kept adding to the original, which helped me come up with ideas, and thus stop the story from fluctuating too much from the plot. Though now I am relying on my memory to help me through. This arc was meant to be super long, but I have now changed that idea, for many reasons. One being the fact that it's almost time for ...Doctor Who! Yay :) Sorry this was so long.

Merlin stared at Leola's face. She wouldn't stop wincing, and bringing her hand to her face. It seemed as if she was trying to pull the dark magic out of her system. Merlin knew he was powerless to stop it, any magic he tried was cancelled out by a field around Leola. She lay awkwardly on the floor, ripples of magical energy made its way through her veins. All Merlin could do was look on.

O

This number no longer exists.

Morgana stared down at the screen, her exquisitely painted finger nails found her laptop key board and she typed in Facebook . Her super-speed connection meant the page was found immediately. Within the bar which said "search for people, places and things," she typed in Gaius Wilson.

What she found struck a chord within her. She stared at the page, her right hand fiddling with a strand of her black hair. She seemed to have become younger. Her eyes were wider, her facial expression showed utter despair. It was dated the 9th of June.

Hello everybody, Merlin here. I am sorry to inform you but on the 6th of this month. My good friend, a man who looked after me like a father, Gaius M Wilson passed away in hospital after a struggle with a long term illness. Unfortunately there have been rumours surrounding his passing. Please refrain from believing them, thank-you.

The comments were sympathetic, but they came with a brutal message:

Oh Merlin love, sorry to hear this Gaius was a lovely man. Where will you be staying now love? Because, you don't really have anywhere to go, why don't you stay at my house until you leave for university.

Merlin, sorry to hear that. What are you going to do now? You don't really have anyone left, we'll be here though honey.

We will miss him. Though you'll be okay Merlin, you've gone through worse. He was an uncle wasn't he? Last one. We're sorry for your losses Merlin.

Morgana wanted to reply angrily and hatefully to all of them, but knew she couldn't. She could feel the flashbacks about to begin, but she shook her head, there was no way she was letting the flashbacks control her like they had done as a child.

Morgana felt a new connection to Merlin, so instead of trying to find out how to contact him, she turned off her laptop, and escaped from her prison through the window.

O

"Merlin?"

Leola looked up at Merlin's face, he had a look of complete relief spreading through him. She tried to manage a smile. Which he gleefully returned. She sat up.

"How are you Leola?"

"Move,"

"Rude,"

Merlin saw a look of panic cross her face.

"Now!" Merlin ninja rolled over whilst Leola raised her left hand, and with a flick of her wrist dark black magic swirled out of her palm and shoot with tremendous speed across the room, where it formed a dark shape, seemingly a giant, who seemed intent on death.

Leola shakily got to her feet and with a flick of her right wrist a sword made of fire formed. Her blue eyes glowed gold and she started to run, her feet barely touching the floor, grabbing the hilt of the fire sword with both hands, she brought it across her body, and in the split second before it hit the gigantic mass, her eyes glowed again, and the sword changed to a golden one, it was beautiful. It was gold everywhere except the hilt which was a light blue, and along the sword part was an engraving of a vine that swirled down the sword; the sword seemed to alight, with golden light. As it hit the black mass, the gigantic monster split in two, and all the pieces of it broke off and disappeared into the air.

Merlin stared at the amazing power Leola could still muster, even though she had been injured, with depleted magic supplies. He realised * how strong Leola must be. Her power vastly outweighed his. He was barely strong enough to do a quarter of what Leola had done. He stood in the corner his hands brought close to his chest, he was scared of her. He stared at her back, and pulled himself into himself. She turned round to face him, and he wanted to step back, but then she did something he wasn't expecting.

She smiled.

A proper smile, one that lit up her whole face, one that crinkled the skin around her eyes, her hair flew round her face.

"Merlin, let's go home,"

Happy holidays, if you celebrate them, if not, happy December, and happy Doctor Who time guys :) If you don't watch Doctor Who, why not?

* realised is the English spelling by the way...
