It had been three months since the wandering incident. Leola had woken to find Merlin and Arthur as a lump on the sofa. Needlessly to say she took a photo and taunted them with it weeks afterwards. Even though she had messed about with them, she did appreciate their compassion, and bought them dinner at a restaurant with the limited funds that she had saved from awkward Christmas presents from people she barely knew.
Merlin was now Arthur's full tutor, however he hated every second that he spent in that gigantic house. This hatred was mainly due to Arthur's pratty behaviour.
Morgana had earned her father's company £5mil and yet Uther still refused to give the higher position she obviously deserved, as he still clung to the hope that Arthur would be able to run the company. Though even Uther had almost given up on Arthur.
Arthur was still an arse.

Leola stood behind the counter at her new job, a waitress at a Costa. It was situated above a bookshop and was completely empty.
Leola stood in her slightly too big uniform, waiting for her next customer as she went over mathematical equations, making sure she didn't mess up. She was so preoccupied she almost didn't notice the group of teenagers sneak in and try to steal a muffin from the counter.
"Nice try," she muttered as the thief mysteriously found his hand frozen.
He ran out clutching his hand, while his 'mates' laughed and followed him out, a few noticed Leola and winked, she was (of course) completely oblivious to their weak attempt at flirting and ignored them.
Since her arrival, attempted shoplifts had gone down to zero,because her hours were the same time at which students would try to steal. The manager had threatened Leola with a raise on countless occasions, but Leola had always declined, she didn't need any extra money, due to the immense amount of payment Merlin got for his tutoring.
With the immediate threat gone Leola went back to forming and solving maths equations, barely focusing on the world around her, when there was a sudden thud, and the building shook. Glass from the windows shattered and Leola felt herself fall, and she saw hundreds of China cups fall with her.

Merlin sat with Arthur in Merlin's apartment watching the news, well trying to. Arthur was constantly getting texts from admirers from the University, and Merlin was watching the kettle, waiting for his next cup of tea(1). Abruptly the news report on the stock exchange was cut and "breaking news" flashed on the screen.
"Today at 3.15 pm, there was an explosion on Maldon Hall road. There have been no reported deaths as of yet, but many members of the public have been injured, many severely, as they went about their shopping. The police are also trying to rescue a girl, who is student at the local university, who is thought to be trapped in the rubble. However at the moment there have been no signs of life coming from where she is thought to be trapped. We will keep you updated on the situation, which at the moment is not being treated as suspicious. If you are worried about your relatives, please call 090087654321"
