During "Hunter's Heart", Arthur finds Gwen's ring. He turns away from Mithian. Meantime, Merlin pays closer attention to her. His secrets come to light. They discover that he and Balinor had links to Nemeth. Agravaine and Morgana plot to kidnap Mithian as well. The resulting adventure turns everything on its head.

He would have admonished the bounty hunter instantly had his attention not been drawn to the figure slumped in the chair at the centre of the room. (Set in s02e09.
