"Please, Morgana, this isn't you," Merlin pleaded, shuffling uncomfortably as he knelt before her on the forest floor.
"I am what you made me, Merlin. You and Uther."
"And I am so sorry for the part I played, but..."
"Remorse, Merlin? That I don't believe. Anyway, I've not brought you here to apologise."
"Why, then?"
If the smirk she'd given then had been merely cruel, it would have been worrying enough, but there was such a suggestively wicked glint in her eye that Merlin found his cheeks instantly warm as he contemplated exactly what she might have planned for him.
