The Old Ways
The knights were snoring around the fire on this mild, autumn night, but Merlin was unable to sleep. He knew that making camp at this familiar place on the eve of Mabon was a sign he shouldn't ignore. So, after rummaged through the packs to find the item he needed, the warlock headed towards Balinor's burial place and placed the small offering on top of the stone cairn he'd built shortly after his father's death.

"Right, let's move out," Arthur ordered the following morning, but Gwaine was still desperately searching his back-pack.
"Has anyone seen my apple?" he asked pitifully.
