Ugh, school started last week… It's Senior year for me! Wait, why did I saw "ugh"? Must be the two AP and two English classes… Why can't I take french or art? They were some of my more consistently good classes...

Okay, I'll say this now, Hawaii has tons of ghost stories (enough that my school has a rule of thumb that if the building is 50 years old, it has at least 1 ghost story. Most of our buildings have been around since about or shortly after WWII.), and they have had a group of settlers known for their magic. I say this now as it'll be important to the story.

"Ve! This is incredible!" Feliciano exclaimed running around on the beach. The nations all arrived in one piece (though Germany's sanity was in question), and now all they were waiting on was Olivia's siblings to show up with the food and boards. The State herself was trying to stay awake while the sound of the waves attempted to pull her consciousness into their depths.

"-lani! Okalani! OI, Okalani-nee!" a male voice called. Olivia growled slightly on hearing the name, and glared out of the corner of her eye to see two approaching figures. One was a slightly darker skinned girl who was a bit more endowed than Olivia, and had a pink rose behind her right ear. The other was a taller male who wore a red tank top and white and blue board shorts. The guy was caring two boards, one nine feet, the other a few inches longer, while the girl had a few plastic bags in her hand.

"About time!" Olivia called back. She swung herself out of the bed of the truck, landing safely next to the rear wheel. The countries seemed to notice the new comers and came over. A few of the European powers, as well as America seemed to recognize at least one of the two.

"Wow, Kai, I would not have expected you here, dude! Especially after you, like totally, declined to do your job!" Alfred called out to the boy, grinning as he ran up. He had ditched his hoodie for a rash guard as soon as the nations had arrived at the beach, and was wading in the water, darkening the colors on both his board shorts and his guard.

"Oh, I told him to bring the boards and snacks with Meli, as they both owe me favors, don't you, Hoku?" Olivia mentioned, a bit smug, not taking her eyes off one of the bags in the other girl's hands.

"Aw, come on, I told you never to call me that!" Kai whined a bit.

"And I told you never to call me Okalani," Olivia stated, rounding a glare at her brother.

"But that's your name!"

"And Hoku is part of yours, our little star~!" Olivia grinned triumphantly, knowing full well how he hated being called by that. Before he could counter, though, the girl stepped in between them.

"Now, now, calm down both of you," she started, motioning for each to calm down. "Kai, there is no reason to get so worked up over what Nee-chan called you, and Nee-chan, you really should calm down and eat something. Here," she said, handing Olivia something wrapped in clear plastic and a can of some sort of juice, "Spam Musubi and Passion Orange."

Olivia's eyes widened when she laid eyes on the offered food offerings, ignoring her brother's remarks that he shouldn't have gotten her the Li Hing Mui sweets as well. She snatched the food from her sister, and barely even unwrapping the musubi, practically inhaled it, proving that she was, indeed, an American, especially when the liquid in the can was gone at almost the same rate. Many of the nations leaned away, either recalling a past trial with the spam product or being repelled by its smell. Only Alfred stayed close, and he eyed the bags, almost begging them to produce something for him.

Sadly, none appeared by the time Olivia had given the wrapper and can to her sister.

"Alright, that was good. Mahalo, Meli!"

"'Ae, 'ae," Meli responded, throwing the two empty containers into the bag she originally pulled the food out of. Kai put the boards down, handing the shorter to his sister, and the other to Alfred.

"Have fun, you two. Oh, and Nee-chan, do try not to hurt our boss's ego, 'kay?"

Olivia just blinked and then grinned. "No promises!" she said simply before walking down, into the water, Alfred chasing after her, claiming that 'the hero won't loose'! The two paddled out a bit, bobbing on the surface, occasionally ducking bellow a wave. They finally got far enough, they stopped and sat up, legs dangling off the sides of their boards.

The group on shore watched as the pair caught wave after wave, both doing tricks during their runs. Alfred enjoyed running up and down the waves, and flicking of the top, while Olivia preferred much more controlled runs, with an occasional tube thrown in. The difference between their demeanors caused Alfred to fall off his board a couple of times more than Olivia, who stayed seemingly rooted on her board.

"Hn~ Your sister doesn't seem to be trying that hard," Francis observed, glancing at the two islands, who were munching on pink wedges that were coated in some sugar crystals and red powder.

"She's tired. Give her a few more waves and she'll be up," was all Kai said, watching the surfers with a knowing smile.

"Though I think even without it, it's kind of obvious whose winning," his sister added, popping another of the wedges in her mouth.

Sure enough, after a few waves, Olivia's tricks started to get a bit more complex, though not as much as Alfred's, who seemed to be falling off with a bit more consistently.

"Ne, Germany, doesn't it seem like America is kind of forcing his tricks?" Feliciano asked, tilting his head to get a better view of the blond. The German raised his eyebrow, in questioning, not picking up on what the other was talking about.

"Yeah, you're right, Veneziano," Romano agreed, apparently noticing what his brother was talking about. "The bastard is using way to much force. That's probably why he keeps falling off the board!"

"You notice that when you have never surfed before?" Meli asked, looking at the two.

"Ve~ It's not that hard, when 'Oahu is moving so beautifully in comparison!" Feliciano indicated to the brunette, who was just coming out of another tube, hand trailing on the water. The other nations watched as the two caught another wave, studying closely their different behaviors with the boards. The brunette seemed to just guide the board in the directions she wanted, almost as if sensing the water's movement. The blond, from a distance, might have seemed like he was doing this, but a few of the more detail oriented nations picked up on the small splashes and jerks that his board gave.

"It would see that l'Amérique is 'aving some trouble, non?" Francis asked, glancing between the others after the blond barely missed wiping out again.

The European nations all nodded, watching as Olivia road a near two meter wave, controlling her board to do a trick normally done on shorter boards. The two isles on the beach did notice, with a bit of amusement, that a certain old superpower would tense up ever so slightly when another wipeout was added to the list. Meli averted her eyes to the blond closest two him, sharing a small smile and a nod. Kai just rolled his eyes at his youngest sister's antics, but complied to what he knew she would eventually request.

"Well," Meli said, drawing attention from a large bird that landed on her brother's arm, "I would have to say it's pretty obvious who won this."

"I would have to agree. America has done some impressive maneuvers, but he can't control his bloody board," Arthur stated, his eyebrows knitting closer together. Meli had to bite her tongue when she picked up what looked suspiciously like worry dusting itself on his face. Instead, she focused on the others' agreement on the winner before turning to her brother. She watched as he finished tying a large yellow flower to a hawk's foot before sending the bird off.

Oh, she thought, a grin curling her lips, this is going to be amusing to watch...

Woohoo! Now you met 2 of Olivia's siblings, one of which the infamous Kai (his actual name is Hokuikekai, hence his lovely nicknames). You are free to guess which islands you think they are (actually, just review in general, I feel a bit lonely…)

Also, the food mentioned are actually popular out here. Personally, I'm not a fan of Spam Musubis (if you have anything against that, idc, they aren't my thing), but I love Li Hing Mui and Passion Orange. I don't know why I had the Li Hing Mui in there, but it's just I'll get these random cravings for them lately… Damn, I got it again.

Oh, and I'll say this now, before you'll get confused; the order of the Hawaiian Island's ages are as followed: Kaua'i, Ni'ihau, 'Oahu, Molokai'i, Lana'i and Kaho'olawe (the twins), Maui, and the Big Island (Hawai'i Island). There will be mention of another island, but as that island is no longer considered one of the main islands…

I will note that I did originally plan on making this chapter longer, but I ran out of muse for it, so this is what 2 months will give you.
