Delicate
She had drawn his attention immediately and nothing could have stopped him from freeing her that night. He was drawn to her in a way he'd never experienced before, attracted not just by her being female, in need or magical, but by something far more primal; as if their very souls were joined.
And at some point in Camelot's underground tunnels, Merlin had fallen in love with Freya and, as he held her delicate hands and pressed a gentle kiss to her lips, he felt such a surge of emotion that he wondered how his heart would ever survive it.
