Diabolic

"If Father finds out about this?" Arthur said as he discovered Morgana exiting the food stores during the famine.

"What, being nice? Sharing our food?" she replied, sarcastically.

"You know what I mean. He's ordered us to stop distributing food to the people and you know how he feels about us going against his policies."

"Uther's policies are diabolical," she retorted. "As are his methods."

"Morgana, you can't say that!"

"Why not, it's the truth and someone has to stand up to him."

"It's not that simple," Arthur replied. "In times of crisis a firm hand is needed. A strong king."

"And what was his excuse before? What'll be his excuse next time? The more he threatens those with magic, the more they will attack. He should just leave them alone?"

"That's not fair, Morgana. You know how much he and Camelot have suffered at the hands of sorcerers."

"And you don't think we're suffering now?"

"This isn't Father's fault."

"No? Then whose fault is it?"

Arthur just shook his head, suddenly reluctant to answer.
