(*Authors POV)

"You're late. Your excuse?." The teacher said as HE entered the classroom.

"Almost got hit by a car." HE replied calmy.

"Oh my are you alright?" The teacher asked concernedly.

Shion stared at HIM concernedly. "I said almost. I'm fine."

HE snapped back. He seemed tense and on edge. The teacher resumed to teaching. Ever couple of minutes Shion would glance at HIM anxiously.

Ever since the fight with Safu and interview with HIM Shion has been unsettled and got little sleep. He struggled to keep awake and take notes.

HE on the other hand was doing a fine job of ignoring the teacher and think to himself. About the stupid interviewer who let the slip of the relation to Shion and himself. Although HE dissmised it as a joke he can't help but think of it as if it were true.

Shion his stepbrother? It's not impossible yet unlikely. And now this. A argument with Safu to keep away from Shion completely. Why didn't he just say yes? Why did he fight to protect the connection between himself and Shion? Did he actually want to be near him?

Shion had thoughts of the same thing. Did HE remember? Is Safu still mad at me?

Shion started to doze off as the teacher instructed them to read pages 235-240.

(*Lunch)

(*Silver eyed Strangers POV)

Once the lady stopped her rant it was time for lunch. Shion had started to doze off in almost all of our classes. He fell asleep in this one.

"Hey...hey wakey wakey your highness." I said as I lightly pushed his arm. He started to move slowly and finally sat up.

"Huh?"

"Lunch time your majesty." I said as I point to the clock.

"Oh shoot. I was supposed to apologize to Safu!" He said as he quickly stood up.

The "Ah you! Hey are you doing okay." He said finally acknowledging my presence.

"Huh...oh yeah." I say remembering my excuse.

"That's good you best be careful. If anything were to happen to you-" Shion suddenly stopped.

"Well enough of that have you seen Safu?" He asks me. The door suddenly opened and revealed a upset Safu.

"She's right here." I say jestering to the new presence.

"Safu hey I-w-wait." Shion started as Safu tried to forcefully pull him away.

"Safu-h-hey no need to pull. Safu!" Shion rose his voice and Safu stopped her rampage. She loosened her grip and turned to him. "I won't let go." She said clearly ticked off.

"What the matter?" Shion asked clearly confused.

"Nothing. Let's go." she spoke avoiding his gaze.

"That's fine no need to rush. Come on we'll all eat lunch together." Shion said cheerfully.

Ahh now he's done it. She again gripped on to Shion and began pulling him at a running pace. "Safu! Wait hold on!" Shion protested. She's stronger than she looks. I was a bit pissed off my self at this and decided to follow them.

Shes fast but with a reluctant Shion dragging you down slowed them down enough for me to track them down near the school fountain.

Shion finally spots me and digs his heals in and stops her. I wonder who's heavier?

I can tell there arguing as I approach them.

"Get lost Rodent!" She yelled at me. "Safu! That wasn't nice."

"I don't care he's interupting my time with you to talk about the dance-I-i mean-." She said as she clings to Shions arm harder. I felt a pang of upset in me at that.

"Is this what this is about?" Shion asked. She reluctantly nodded yes.

"I already told you I was going to take you. What the matter?" Shion stated. Wait he agreed to take this little devil?!

"I know it's just that I hoped that you would take me and me only." She muttered.

"Well I'm not taking any other girl if that's what your wondering."

There was a moment of silence. "Your right Shion she's not worried about you taking another girl rather she's-" before I could finish she launched at me knocking me down. Okay she's definitely heavier.

"Safu no stop it!" Shion yelled trying to pry the crazy girl off me. She was trying to slap me but then I grabbed her wrist. She spat on my face and tried to start kick me. Shion finally pried her of from me.

"Safu that was totally uncalled for! He didn't do anything!" Shion scolded.

As I stood up everything went silent as She gave no response. "Are you okay?"Shion asked as he drew closer to me examining my face. My smirk was quickly replaced with a genuine look as Shion gently touched a scratch from her nails. My heart rate quickened.

I glanced at Safu as she was clearly shaking with anger and saddness. "That's good it's just a few cuts and bruises." Shion stated and turned to Safu. She now had tears streaming down her cheeks.

"Hey Safu...don't cry he's a big boy it wasn't bad. I know your upset and all but you can't attack someone like that." Shion said putting a hand on her shoulder. She shook in raw emotion.

"Just promise me that you'll take me to the dance an only me. And only pay attention to me." She muttered out.

"I already told you that I would take you and you only."

"It's not the same!" She shouted.

"What's not the same?" Shion asked puzzled.

"Nevermind. I'm sorry for attacking a scumbag like you. I'll be leaving now." She says trying to regain her composer.

Shion stayed behind with me. "Girls confuse me." Shion said out of the blue.

"Yeah me too." I reply with a slight laugh.

"You sure your okay? You hit your head pretty hard."

"They call me hardheaded for a reason." I say back rubbing my developing bump.

Shion laughed at that a bit. "When exactly is the dance?" I ask.

"This Friday I believe." Shion replied.

"So your really going with her?" I ask.

"Well yeah."

"Do you like her?"

"Yeah as a friend though. And I'm not sure if she pictures me as just a friend." Shion stated honestly.

"Oh so you can tell that she has feelings for you romantically wise."

"Well yeah it became pretty obvious after she asked me to have sex with her."

Once he said that I chocked on my own spit. Dam this girl is straightforward and blunt.

"Well that's something to swallow. And you?"

"Hehe yeah. Me? Well like I said before she's like a sister and a good friend."

"And she keeps asking me out on outings and stuff...it makes me feel as though I'm leading her on. You know giving her false hope by going to this dance together."

"Huh. I can see where your coming from. And sadly your right this situation does kinda seem false and one sided. Have you told her clearly of what you think of her?"

"What I think of her? Hmm yeah I told her I only think of her as a friend."

"That was a while ago right." I confirm.

"Yeah several months why?"

"No just wondering. Plus in my opinion you should tell her again that your just friends because the more you wait the harder it will be on her." I state honestly. Since when did I give to shits about his love life? I guess it's cause for some strange reason it really irritates me to see them get close.

"Yeah your right. But it isn't easy. I have no good reason to decline her. It won't be easy that's for certain."

"Nobody said it would be easy. Yet what would you say if you did like someone else?" I asked. His face lit up a shade of pink. Haha he's blushing. "Oooh? Did I guess correct?" I press further.

"N-no. That's none of your business." Shion stuttered.

"Yeah your right you you'll totally flop at talking to girls." I taunt. I smirk as he became more flustered. I got a strange sense of déjàvu.

"No your wrong I have no girl I like." Shion said sternly.

"Oh? Then it's a boy?" I asked with a raised eyebrow. A fluttering feeling made me feel ever so nervous.

"N-no I'm not going to say!"'Shion said as he turned to a shade of red. I stepped closer hovering over him.

"Oh? Then is it someone I know?" I say as I step closer to him. He nervously steps back hitting the edge of the fountain.

"No w-well...it's really none of your-" he stopped as I drew my face closer to his. I could feel his breath. His whole face and ears going red.

"Oh really?" I say as our face was centimeters apart.

"Y-yeah." He stuttered out. Realizing what I was doing and my own heart rate I stepped back leaving his personal space.

"Shion...do you perhaps like-no nevermind." I stop myself. I'm so stupid. No one could like me! And a guy of all people.

"S-so are you going to go with anybody to the dance." Shion spoke up breaking the awkward silence.

"Well Unfoutunetly I have a movie to prepare for. Oh Shion do you even know how to dance?" I ask.

"Oh. Me dance? No I don't sadly." He shyly admitted.

"That's perfect." I said without thinking.

"Eh? How so? I'm going to the dance and I'm clueless how to dance I'll make a total fool out of myself."

"I'll teach you." I say.

"Re-really?!"

"Yep. You in?"

"Yeah totally! When?" He asked excitedly.

"After school Tuesday,Wensday, and Thursday. Sound good?"

Shion smiled and some how that made my day ten times better.
