Chapter 30: Hesitation
I'm going to do something new and go into third person; it'll be easier for me that way. Enjoy, my friends.
Ren and Kazehana were walking back to the inn hand in hand. They did wake up earlier, but Kazehana wanted to go a few more rounds and they stayed longer. She was smiling happily while Ren was breathing a little heavier.
"Are you okay darling?" She asked him.
"Yeah, I'm fine. I'm just a little tired," Ren replied. Kazehana giggled and linked her arm with his.
"Last night was so amazing that I wanted to experience it again," she cooed. "So, who's next on your list?"
Ren chuckled and scratched his cheek.
"Well, that all depends on the others. Matsu is supposed to be next if I remember correctly," he said. Kazehana rubbed her head against his arm lovingly.

Jason and the others were sitting around, waiting for Ren and Kazehana to return. Miya and Takehito were sitting on the porch, enjoying their time. "Neither of you will be going," she stated.
"Hey! Who died and made you queen?" Toyotama stated.
"Hmph, I am Ren's true wife and I am the only who he should make love to," she responded. That caused Yomi to burst out laughing.
"Well then, if you are his wife, then why is Ren out with another woman?" She questioned. Tskumi couldn't come up with a retort and only stuttered.
"What about the rest of us? He went out and had sex with the rest of us, or have you forgotten about that?"
Tskumi still couldn't come up with a retort. Jason and his sekirei were listening in on the conversation. Ku was confused on what they were talking about, mostly because Jason had her ears covered.
"Hey Jason," Ikki called out.
"Yeah," he answered.
"Why haven't you taken us out yet?" She asked. Jason perked up at the question. He scratched the side of his face.
"Well, it's not that I don't want to. It's just," he started.
"Just?" Homura said. Jason turned his head and blushed a little. He covered Kusano's ears again.
"Let me ask you all a question. Have you ever thought about having sex with me?" He asked.
"We wouldn't be confronting you about this if we never thought about it," Ikki said. Jason looked at Homura.
"Then what about you Homura? How do you feel about it?" He asked.
"Honestly, I haven't figured that out yet," she said scratching the back of her head. "I mean yes, my point of view has changed ever since I've changed; but I haven't yet come to a conclusion about this."
Jason sighed as Kusano struggled to remove his hands from her ears.
"And what about the rest of you? Nanami, Shi, Yashima, Kaho, Kuno, how do you feel about it?" He asked them. They all looked at each other.
"What about you Jason? Haven't you figured out that answer already. Is there any other reason why we would be asking you this?" Kaho asked. The others nodded with her.
"Sigh, I guess not," Jason said. He smiled and looked at his first sekirei.
"Then Ikki; I want you."
She gasped and turned red.
"Jason; I-I would be happy to," she said emabarrased. Kaho was the first to speak up.
"Hold on; why does she get to go first?" She questioned. The others, except Homura closed in on him.
"Now hold on girls; I chose Ikki because she was my first sekirei. I've known her longer than I've known the rest of you. I think it's only fitting when you think about it," he explained.
"And what about us?" Kaho asked. Jason scratched his head.
"Uh, I'll let you girls decide that. I'm not good at making decisions like this," he told them. The girls looked at each other. Metaphorically, there was lightning coming out of their eyes. Jason finally let go Kusano, and she demanded that they tell her about their conversation; but they refused.
That's when everyone heard the door open and close.
"We're back," someone stated. The eager half of Ren's sekirei shot up and ran to the door while the laid-back half stayed back and laughed at the situation. Jason left his sekirei to think while he checked on the Ashikabi of the North. Jason saw Ren and Kazehhana at the door being showered with questions from Tskumi.
'I wonder if Ren can help me out.' Jason thought. Matsu explained to Ren what they've decided about the arrangements. Toyotama still tried to convince Matsu and Uzume to let her go ahead of them, but they still refused. Tskumi scolded Ren about going out with other women and he should only be doing such things with her only. The eager half then got into another tug-o-war with him. Jason did managed to break up the war.
"Ren; I know you just got back, but I need to talk to you about something," he said.
"Can it wait a bit Jason?" Ren asked back. Jason shook his head.
"It's a man to man talk," he stated. Ren immediately perked up.
"Sorry girls, but we'll have to finish this later," he told them. He and Jason started walking away, but Ren looked back at his sekirei.
"And if any of you listen in on this, then I will give every fiber of my being to my hydra and let it do the scolding. Is that understood?"
They nodded and lightly blushed at his sense of authority. The two walked to Jason's room, where he opened the window to let some air in. Jason leaned against the sill while Ren leaned against the wall next to him.
"So Jason, why did you want to talk about?"
Jason sighed.
"Well first off, I'm still thinking about the next phase. Sooner or later, it'll be you and me fighting. Sigh, and I don't have it in me to fight you, especially since you're a strategic nerd. Actually, scratch that; you're a nerd in general," he said.
"Is this really what you wanted to talk about?" Ren questioned. Jason laughed at him.
"Sorry, sorry; but I do have something important to ask. It's about my sekirei. They asked me about having sex with them and why haven't I taken them out on dates," he stated.
"Why haven't you?" Ren asked wanting to know the answer. Jason sighed.
"It's not that I don't want to; I really do. But, I'm nervous; I don't know the fundamentals. I don't know how to pleasure a woman, especially seven. Well six excluding Homura."
Ren nodded in understanding.
"Wait, why exclude Homura?" He asked.

"Don't think of it like that. Think of it as being unaware of their true potential," Ren replied. "So, what are you going to do now?"

"Sigh, that's basically all I wanted to talk about. Thanks for hearing me out," Jason said. Ren patted his shoulder.
"You can thank me by going out with Ikki tonight. Show her how much you really love her; I know she'll love the chance to spend time with you," he told him. Jason looked back out the window, watching Ikki.
"Yeah, it's best if I say what I need to say before it's too late," he responded. Ren wrapped his arm around Jason's neck, playfully chocking him.
"You sneaky bastard; I never thought you would get the jump on me," he replied. Ren let him go and held up a fist.
"Don't be scared and go for it," he stated. Jason smiled and nodded. The two bumped knuckles and walked out the room. Surprisingly, no one was listening in, but Ren wanted to see what his sekirei are doing. Jason on the other hand, went outside where Ikki was sitting. She and the rest of his sekirei were enjoying the wether. Homura however, was the only one not out there.
"Girls," Jason called out. His sekirei heard him and smiled happily upon his arrival. Ku immediately did her routine of hugging his leg.
"Listen, I have something I need to talk to Ikki about."

"Hold on Jason; why do you need to talk to her in private. Are you mad at any of us?" Kaho asked. Jason shook his head.
"I'm not mad at any of you, far from it. There's just one thing I have to tell Ikki; and I can say it better if it's just us two. So please, don't try to eavesdrop. Can you all promise me that?" He questioned. The girls looked at each other and then back to their ashikabi.
"We promise," they said, except for Ku who was flailing her arms in jealousy. Jason ruffled her hair.
"Don't worry Ku; big brother is only going to talk to your big sister, but it has to be in private. It won't be as special if all of you hear it; but I'll tell you all later," he told her. Ku pouted and growled a little like normally, but she finally complied. Ikki followed Jason to his room, unaware that Homura was aware of what Jason wanted to say. She walked outside to the others and leaned against the door.
"Jason seemed more confident lately don't you think?" Shi asked.
"Yeah,what do you think Homura?" Kaho asked. She smirked.
"Well, our Jason is finally becoming a man," she stated. The girls were confused.
"Hmhmhm, just wait; you'll see what I mean."
Ikki and Jason were in his room. Jason was gathering his thoughts.
"Jason, are you okay? You seem nervous; you know you can tell me anything," Ikki stated. Jason looked up at his first sekirei. He took a deep breath and grabbed her hand.
"Ikki; I love you," he stated. Ikki blushed a little.
"I love you too Jason. But is that really all you wanted to say?" She asked. Jason shook his head.
"I've known you for a long time now Ikki and I'm glad you've been with me for so long," he stated.
"Well of course I would stay with you; I am your sekirei," she pointed out.
"Yes; but if you were human, and we met for the first time, would you still fall in love with me?" He asked. Ikki cupped Jason's cheek.

She was taken back by his words. Ikki had her hand in front of her chest and her cheeks were bright red.
"Jason," she whispered. She gasped and expaneded her eyes when she realized something.
"Jason, are you?"
He intertwined their fingers. Slowly, Jason closed the distance between them, and Ikki followed. She started closing her eyes and put her free hand on Jason's shoulder. In Matsu's room, Ren was listening in to the whole thing. By playing around with her monitors, he can now listen in on things going around the inn. He saw Ikki hug Jason, and they fell back continuing to kiss.

"Well, can't wait to see how the others are gonna react to this."
He stared at the monitors, wondering what all he can do.
"No way, you can watch TV, play games, everything."
Ren kept playing around until he found something that caught his eye. There were a few folders that looked suspicious, but they were locked.
"Locked; and Matsu is the only one with the codes. Oh well, its probably something inappropriate."
That's when someone entered the room and saw Ren at the monitors.
"Ren; what are you doing in my room?" Matsu asked. He turned to his brain-type.
"Ah Matsu, perfect timing; I need to ask you something," he said. She sat down in front of him.
"What is it?" She asked. Ren scooted closer and whispered in her ear,
"When would you like to have our night together?"

"Tskumi, why is it so hard for you to accept the others? Do you not care about the others?"

"Then why do you deny them their love? Do you not want them to be happy?"
She shook her head no.
"I do want them to be happy, but,"

Ren thought about his question, thinking about all the battles he and his sekirei have been through. When he really thought about it, there was really no problems with terminating his enemy.
"Honestly Seo, there hasn't been any troubles with terminating; however, I do not condone separtating a sekirei from their ashikabi. Unless, I meet an ashikabi who treats their sekirei like crap and abuses them."
Seo nodded his head in understanding. He turned back around.
"Then keep following me; and see if you change your thinking."
Ren continued to follow Seo until they found a group of people. There were two guys and about five girls. The guy with his back turned to Seo and Ren is the Ashikabi of the West, Sanada. "So Minaka setup a match between the Ashikabi of the West and some random competitor. Since you're showing me this, I assume Takehito told you about me wanting to talk to Minaka about the plan."

"He told your uncle, who told me and wanted me to guve you this picture. This is what happened to the last people who tried to talk Minaka out of the plan."
When Ren received the picture, his eyes widened in shock. In the picture, two bodies were on the ground stacked on top of each other. Jason sighed.
"I understand what you're saying, but I don't think I have it in me."
Ikki took the phone away and put it on the nightstand beside them.

"It's okay, release it inside me," she interrupted. "I want you to release your seed inside me. I want to birth your children."
Jason finally reached his climax and filled up Ikki's womb with his semen. She too reached her limit and came along with Jason, moaning aloud.
"Jason; you came. It feels so warm."
She rested on top of Jason, both covered in sweat.
"Ikki; we finally did it," he said. Ikki kissed her fiancé.
"Thank you sweetie."
The two continued kissing with the sun high above the sky.
Later on that day, Minaka has sent a message to every active ashikabis telling them an address everyone is suppose to meet at. They are to bring all of their sekirei with them and wait until he gives his next message. Ren was already there, looking at the different ashikabi. Seo and Sanada, along with their respective sekirei, were with him. Ren immediately caught Mikogami, Ryan, The Disciplinary Squad and their ashikabi, and even Higa, who made his eyes narrow.
"Ren, where is Jason?" Musubi asked him. Ren searched around, but didn't find him. Even though he's practically the tallest ashikabi, he couldn't see his friend.
"I'm not sure; I don't see him," he replied.
"He's probably not here yet," Matsu suggested. Ren nodded in agreement.
"I wouldn't worry about him," he told everyone.
"Ren!" Someone called out. He turned his head and smiled after finding Jason approaching with his eight sekirei. He and Ikki were walking hand in hand.
"About time you showed up," he said. Jason chuckled.
"Sorry, but I was a little busy," he replied. Ren gave him a thumbs up, and he returned it. The girls were confused on what they were saying.
"So, where's the man of honor?"
Ren shrugged his shoulders.
"That's who we're waiting on."
Right on cue, the place turned dark and spotlights shot on. The lights were pointing to a tower, in which four people walked out. Ren and Jason were surprised to see two of them. They were Takehito, Takami, and Ren's Uncle Clyde.
"What is my uncle and Takami doing here?"
"That woman is Takami?" Jason asked. He looked at Homura, who nodded her head.
Then, one more person walked to the center, making everyone look with eagerness. The Game Master, Hiroto Minaka himself, has made his entrance. He was in his signature outfit.
"Greetings my ashikabis; you are the ones who managed to stay in this wonderful game. You are the ones who have earned the chance to have the powers of a god. You are the ones who are destined to do great things. Now then, the reason why I have gathered you all here is simple. It's time for the third phase to begin!" He exclaimed. The man immediately managed to find the four section ashikabis.
"For this phase, you will compete in a specific event. During this time, you will receive an email letting you it's your turn to participate. The type of event will be explained on the phone; however, for this first match, I will do the explaining. This first match will be a one-on-one fight. Two ashikabi's will face each other with three of their sekirei; and the team that still have sekirei left standing will receive a ticket to the next round."
"So now it begins; I wonder who's going first," Jason said. Ren just kept quiet and then looked at the ground.
"It's going to be me and Higa," he stated. His allies looked at him.
"What makes you so sure?" Seo asked.
"Minaka looked at me and then at Higa; he wants to setup two sector ashikabi against each to show off is my guess," he explained. "I don't care either way; I just want to get back at Higa for what he did."
"You damn right we do," Yomi stated. Jason covered Ku's ear to block out vulgar language.
"Can you at least watch your words. We have a kid present," he pointed out. They nodded, and he uncovered her ears. A giant board with names on it appeared.
"Now then; let's select the first two ashikabis," Minaka stated. Two white markers ran up and down the list at a fast pace. As it started to slow down, some were getting anxious while others were determined. The markers stopped and the names have been selected. Instead of the names, the ashikabis' pictures were displayed. Ren's allies gasped when they saw that his prediction came true. On the right, Ren's picture was displayed; and on the left, Higa's picture was displayed.
"And it's been decided! Ren Zonin will fight Higa Izumi in a battle of strength, smarts, and sekirei! Those two stay while the others take your seats and watch this spectacle. All fights will happen here, where you can watch close up; however, certain events will be watched from the TV. And one more thing, these fights will be broadcasted worldwide; so show everyone your strength and make it to the top!"
"I told you it would be us two," Ren said.
"Well, this should be a good fight. Good luck kid," Seo stated. The twins bowed to him as they left. Sanada's girls kept poking Ren to feel his mucles and then left with their ashikabi.
"You got this one in the bag," Jason told him. "Just don't think so much; I hate that. Good luck Ren."
He smiled and nodded at him. The two bumped fists, and Ren watched him leave with his sekirei. The only ones left in the arena was Ren with his sekirei and Higa with his sekirei. They just stared at each other as the Game Master and his higher ups watch from the tower.
"Now you two; choose your sekirei and FIGHT!"
